I’ve been in the hospital for 5 days now and have been wanting to get into 3D sculpting. Tried for a few hours while being a complete 0 and struggled a lot. After watching this really boosted my confidence into using this program compared to others that are even free. Even though you have to pay for this program it seems to be much more newer user friendly. Also could be the great tutorial I got here too
Ohh yes oh yes oh yes I needed that! I've been looking for a tutorial for a complete 0 (me lol) and here it is! Sometimes people forget that there are those who don't even know the basics and where to look for those, but you never disappoint, dear Sir! ❤ Thank you so much!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I dabbled in blender last fall and tried in earnest, had some good progress, but my chronic pain makes using a computer and mouse really difficult and exhausting. I got nomad on the ipad today and following this video was am absolute delight and boost to my confidence and I actually think I can regularly sculpt now! Thank you!!❤ Can't wait to be done with work so I can get to the next video😊
Blender is a bit overwhelming. I did the classic donut tutorial. I finished it. And it didn’t look half bad but i felt like so much that I did was lost on me.
Just learned about Nomad, and another UA-camr recommended your tutorials for beginners. I'm stunned at how well you explain things. I'm completely new to sculpting. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for this. I'm familiar with some 3D, but sculpting is pretty new and I've been admiring your creations! I even bought a tablet and S-Pen to learn Nomad this year!
This is a really really helpful and easy to understand tutorial for a beginner like me🥰,thank you for your video!!! Pls keep sharing more tips like this
Hi, I love your videos and you are great at explaining everything down to the smallest detail, I like your slow and confident voice. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. I have very little with this program and I have learned many things here, thank you, thank you, my greetings from Valencia, Spain.
I'd like to support you by getting access to your paid courses but I don't do Skillshare or Udemy. Any chance you would sell them on Teachable or Gumroad? Thanks!
Dave, thank you 🙏. I have been watching your videos for a while now. I finally purchased Nomad (you should get some sort of kick back for sending ppl their way, wait do you have a link for that? 😬) You made it look so easy, that I think I was over confident while following a couple of your other tutorials lol. This super Noob tutorial really helped me understand some of the tools. Looking forward to part 2. Have an awesome day
I would really enjoy something really detailed about booleans, and also curves, since i always seem to be doing something wrong about those, my booleans only make a one shape out of the two instead of digging one from the other, and my curves, i can play with the thin line add pivots and all, but eventually the tube never appears in the end... thx in advance, great channel Dave =)
Hi Dave! 👋🏼 I’m here from your mushroom video and I was having trouble with my symmetry/move portion for the mushroom top. For some reason my sphere had little lumps and bumps at the bottom of it when I move it. And I came to see if you have a settings video for your tutorials? Maybe I missed something?? 🤔 thanks.
Awesome videos! Super helpful. I've only really used Tinkercad and I've been wanting to add a more organic look to my designs. The 2 things that confuse me the most in Nomad are 1- sense of scale. Sure I can make things bigger or smaller but that doesn't mean anything when it's not attached to a value such as millimeters. and 2- The file size of the model itself. I've played around in nomad and then export to take something into Tinkercad and the files are too big. I have to continually remesh and export until I just happen to get a size that Tinkercad accepts. The model usually looks pretty low res though. Do you have any videos that could help to understand these 2 points?
First of all, this is a fantastic tutorial as a beginner of 3D! Secondly, I’m having trouble keeping my grid in the background. It always wants to move to a horizontal plane rather than sticking in the background behind my sculpt. Is there a way to fix this?
Hey, thank for making this, im new to 3D so its nice to have easy learning basic :D Also can i ask you question, i want to ask if i can make 3D model on nomad sculpt with rigged skeleton that we can make pose or animate with? I hope you can answer my question, sorry for my bad english :>
can that 2-finger-tap undo 'feature' be turned off in the settings? I use two fingers for rotating and the app often initiates it with undoing my last action(s) _😡-|_GRRR!!__
I have to ask a question because this is something I’ve just noticed and maybe you can help me hopefully. I noticed that I can’t pan or rotate the camera beyond the top view (rotating above the top view) to see the back of an object with my hand or pencil. I have to use the sphere or (cube) in the top right corner. Is that the norm?
Ive been having an EXTREMELY hard time trying to figure out how to make the edge of a cookie cutter thinner without distorting the whole shape itself. got any tips for me?
Hey Dave reed! I really like your tutorial, but in the primitive explanation, when I delete the sphere and make a new one, it looks like it is not not as smooth as the default, why does that happen?

Great course! under the small coge icone on the right side you can add what the "auto behaviour" should be like the auto smoot :)

I laughed so hard at “his mama” insert 😅thank you ❤
It’s a real treat for me when I actually say that and can add it in! Those quick mental chuckles really keep me going while making these videos!! 😂🙌🏾

Without a doubt one of my favorite edits… I find myself saying it and am so glad o get to slip this in!! 😂😂
Hey is it possible you add this to a single playlist and making this the first or second vid after the crash course

How do you rotate your scene with your fingers?
can that 2-finger-tap undo 'feature' be turned off in the settings? I use two fingers for rotating and the app often initiates it with undoing my last action(s) _😡-|_GRRR!!__
is there a way to unvalidate after adjustments following validating have been made??
Is possible to use VDMs in Nomad somehow?
Can you Make some jewelry videos? It would be awesome

Probably smooth shading; check the description I have a few links to help with that!
@@drugfreedave oh okay! Thx! 👍
Question, your box from the start looked like it had rounded edges. Mine are sharp. Is this something in settings or…?
Probs smooth shading, I think I have a video about it linked in the description! 👍🏾
The way you talk is like the Bob Ross of 3D 😂
You remind me so much of bob ross, espcially your voice
Why does my nomad sculpt look different
Explain how yours looks different? 🤔
Sigh…..fiiiine I’ll buy nomad
I don’t like him
You should hear what he says about you! 😳
