In 12 hours, Al can make the entire fuel line setup, with regulator, sensor, and pump. In 12 hours, Nik makes a bracket to hold a wiper motor for the rear window. Al's work doesn't look factory, but it works. Nik's work looks factory, then he changes something else and has to build it all over again. These two are entertaining to watch, and to compare.
Epic for returning the mention to Binky. Super cool to hear these series calling each other out. I dont even want to think what Yoda and Nik would create together.
Agreed. Its so weird. All my car channels I follow on UA-cam are crossing lines.. its like when all your favorite TV shows cross each others universes.. its trippy! Especially since UA-cam is my actual TV. I don't have cable/satellite.
11pm CST here in America and I’m about to go to bed.....until I see Australia 20 hours ahead of me upload yet another amazing video!! God Bless Skid Factory and friends.
Do a beer with Al and a bear with woody give us your back stories and car history's 😀 Keep up the deadly work 👍good family guy impression on the fone too😂
I bet doing something Al says is good is like having 10 proud dads telling you they are all proud of you at the same time. Props on the project Binky ref! KEEP THIS GOING FOREVER!!
The tips and how-too's you get from Al are priceless, i learn more from these fellas in a few episodes than a year from anyone else! Love it boys and thanks heaps.
As a former parts guy, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TELLING PEOPLE TO DO THEIR RESEARCH!! I never sold AN fittings but I sold a ton of brake lines. The concept it the same, Figure out what size, thread, and how long you need BEFORE going to the store. I cant count how any times I've have to spend almost an hour with a customer trying to piece their whole brake system together with adapters and straight lines cause they are too cheap to just buy a roll of brake line and a $20 flare kit.
Came here to watch a mad man put a mad engine in a mad van for a mad friend and end up learning about hoses and fitting. What a great channel this is. :D
Man, I'm building my car, and I wanted to use AN lines to replace the 25+ years old fuel lines from the tank to the engine bay, this is perfect. And as usual very well explained! Thanks for your incredible work, keep it up!!
Thanks for explaining the design process that goes into this, when you see a build as crazy as this you wonder how it will ever work, but broken down into bite size chunks it makes perfect sense. I don't know what you're charging Millsy for this but it's not enough
This has some amazing information about fuel line systems. Also, the plumbing really help me out. I'm planning on building my 2J to single, in my garage. Well I wanna get the mechanical work done. I'll go and see the pros for electrical stuff (ECU, tune etc) FYI : STOCK INTERNALS alright Internet, GO!!!
Nice tips, Alan. Its getting there, so be happy its gonna be another great project on your list :) Woody, wear hat like Alan, doesn't hurt that much when you hit "the can" :) Can't wait for next episode!
Wait for the beer fridge in the back, 18 way electronic seats from an audi, pop up speakers, and mood lighting. Somebody has the bring those guys back to reality sometime.
It's just amazing how two guys hot so much knowledge. I bet turbo yoda could do this work with his eyes closed and his hands tied behind his back haha!
8:00 to 8:30 what you said is 100% true. Haveing worked as a tech and as a parts guy ive seen both sides of frustration when it comes to this stuff. Great work love this project
Herbert the Bedford Parts Guy.
He's got a 10mm spanner in his pocket. Grab it for him?
lmao Get over here you sexy sum bitch
Has me lolling for real....
Already dying from the Herbert the pervert phone call 😂😂
For real!! LMAO it was perfect too!
Bad obsession Motorsport want the van
Matman Logie I was like 4WD mini? Sounds like the lads from Shropshire. That would be so awesome
HA! I though I heard the reference in the latest Project Binky!
I'm pretty sure the bit about AN fittings being suitable for high pressure power steering lines was a dig at Nik
lol the Bedford would last 5min in the UK with all the rust that's already in it.
I think the van would rust away into nothing by the time Binky is done hahaha
the buyer from the UK wants a rear window wiper on it.

Recon!
And keyless motorized hood. And possibly a tea pot
who is nik?
any_given_grind from Bad Obsession Motorsports, the guys doing Project Binky
Epic for returning the mention to Binky. Super cool to hear these series calling each other out. I dont even want to think what Yoda and Nik would create together.
That would be brilliant.
It would be suicidally fast and epically perfect.
and take 3 years to build..lol
Project Binky Episode 1 was posted August 17th 2013, almost exactly 5 years ago ;-)
Agreed. Its so weird. All my car channels I follow on UA-cam are crossing lines.. its like when all your favorite TV shows cross each others universes.. its trippy! Especially since UA-cam is my actual TV. I don't have cable/satellite.
Y'all never disappoint. The banter between you guys and Bad Obsession is the best thing on the internet to date.
Shit yeah fellas keep the lemon squashes flowing
as a matter of fact, I've got one now. :-)
The lovefest between Bad Obsession and The Skid Factory is so cute ;-)

Been watching since March or so, thank you for such in depth, hands on, how-to knowledge bombs in every single episode.
Really can’t wait to see this thing completed!
Bro! Love the Bad Obsession Motorsports reference!
ThANks for the ANducation. The details you shared concerning the varieties of A/N obviously come from much experience.
This series is just getting better and better.
You never fail to put a smile on my face, guys. Plus, we get the added bonus of seeing some top work. Cheers
Al sharing the knowledge on this one! Excellent as always. Thanks guys.
Thanks for all the extended explanations especially about hose fitting great job
The Project Binky Reference at the end!
You are aware of the Millsy reference to Skid Factory in Ep 18 of Project Binky, right?
These are getting nothing but better every episode..
Al love your no bullshit straight to the point wrenching great job guys!! Can't wait to hear that thing roar to life.
This is better than anything on tv and most things online. love it.
I think Woody should "get the funk out" while Al makes some brackets !
damn you Skid Factory! Always uploading right before I have to go to bed. I already pulled the video up though, so I guess I have to watch it now...
That was a great video guys. Loved it. I never knew that the AN on the fittings stood for Army Navy. Love the little bits of knowledge.
I'm sure Moog doesn't get enough credit for the music in this show. Yay done a great job m8.
RandomTuber782 I always enjoy it too man. Give a nod to Moog.
Great series and great episode. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with the wider car tuning community.
What an opening... Nightmares for weeks!
just seeing you guys putting the stuff on the underbody just makes my spine shiver, but then i remember you don't have any bad weather in Australia
Came here to watch a mad man put a mad engine in a mad van for a mad friend and end up learning about hoses and fitting.
What a great channel this is. :D
Learning something every time I watch. Way better than school.
Nice project binky shout out at the end
That last bit with the face of customers. Lol. I know that feeling!!
Man this was some good info for me. I have a bunch of 100 series bits that I have yet to assemble and the advice in this video was tops!
Man, I'm building my car, and I wanted to use AN lines to replace the 25+ years old fuel lines from the tank to the engine bay, this is perfect. And as usual very well explained! Thanks for your incredible work, keep it up!!
Quite informative, well explained and great videography. I'm enjoyin' the hell of of this build Al.
Just keeps getting better and better. You guys are legends, keep up the great work!
That could be a epic t-shirt with Herbert the Bedford parts guy on it
These videos have gotten so much better recently, well done guys! Keep'em coming!
These intros are gold. I feel ya on all the hard work and the van potentially being sold off for possibly more profit.
Good video AL on AN fittings. Great explanation of different types. The build I believe has been a long one with a bit to work out.
shouldnt have watched that intro late at night, the whole house is up, haha bloody terrific fellas
Thanks for explaining the design process that goes into this, when you see a build as crazy as this you wonder how it will ever work, but broken down into bite size chunks it makes perfect sense. I don't know what you're charging Millsy for this but it's not enough
Seriously bros, best part of my week is coming home and u two dudes have uploaded another episode... fkn awesome!
Love how you guys explain thing! The skid factory really scratches my mechanical itch!
Love the funny reference to the bad obsession boys. Love this build
Love the respect between you and the bad obsession guys. I did wonder if you would of known about them mentioning the Bedford.
Herbert the Bedford parts guy... The ice cream truck rear door lock only works from the outside, not the inside. Beware kiddies!
gjmob free candy
The info about AN fittings was super helpful. Have been wondering how exactly they worked for a while now, cheers!
The camera work and editing getting better and better every single episode. Keep up the cracking content boys
So many good tips in this ep. Thanks very much for the education.
Thank god,, had thought you guys had forgotten me. I've decided to do the same to my TD Cortina Mk III six cyl 4 speed. Keep those vid's coming.

Digging the drum and bass soundtrack, neat.
Hope it is coming to the uk ... can't wait to see it around , keep up the good work guys

Hahaha, could see that coming at the start.. so good. Love how you guys are putting in more humor. So much value in these. Thanks again guys! ;)
Love to hear the wisdom from Al.
These videos should be used at every tech school - they are brilliant
This has some amazing information about fuel line systems. Also, the plumbing really help me out. I'm planning on building my 2J to single, in my garage. Well I wanna get the mechanical work done. I'll go and see the pros for electrical stuff (ECU, tune etc)

That Herbert impression was on-point.
Between you guys and Bad Obsession Motorsports the Internet is on fire. Keep it up
MAD WORLD OF FITTING AS THANK YOU FOR DETAIL VIDEO
Al trying to hold back the laughter is amazing.
Best episode ever 😂 from Herbert to “that’s the jokkkkke”
Solid 😂 good work lads
Thanks for all the knowledge and know how Turbo Yoda! We really appreciate it !
I love following this build! Cant wait to see it run!
35:33 absolutely killed me... Bad Obsession Motorsports and MCM working a charm (you'd probably fit Binky in the back of the van) =)
You Al and Woody are amazing
Well, that buyer in England won't need the Bedford van to tow the race-mini for another four or five years, so don't worry about it.
At least! :-P
haa haa at least that but remember it could be already done but slow to edit and post the vids lol
Dan Hard - I heard they already crashed it
funny you say that because that's my joke comment there haa haa but in serious I hope not
Wait for the beer fridge in the back, 18 way electronic seats from an audi, pop up speakers, and mood lighting. Somebody has the bring those guys back to reality sometime.
Seeing it all coming together is so satisfying. Keep it up lads. :)
Wow, I had no idea I had a really talented nephew!! Keep of the good work!
Good dash tutorial, did my teflon oilfeed for my 200sx two years ago :)
The BOM shoutback made my day. XD
Great knowledge shared! Thanks mates.
It's just amazing how two guys hot so much knowledge. I bet turbo yoda could do this work with his eyes closed and his hands tied behind his back haha!
Wow this series has grown in popularity, lots of views!
8:00 to 8:30 what you said is 100% true. Haveing worked as a tech and as a parts guy ive seen both sides of frustration when it comes to this stuff. Great work love this project
after recently doing all this AN fittings stuff, youve made it look so easy
Both the mini and the bedford are high class builds they would work well together
HOLY SHIT, that tip cutting the hose is amazing
That Herbert voice was super on point
Youve won the internet for today with the first 1.40 seconds of this episode! 😂🤣
All that work for some bloody Pomey! Damn you Millsey!
Hey! I know those UK guys! You better hurry up and get the Bedford finished - They tell me their 4-wheel drive mini will be ready any decade now!
good advice on the fittings cheers fellas
When you were talking about heat insulation on the hose at the end, was I seeing a “Nova” badge? Is there a yank-tank as a future project?
LS powered 😁
Or put a Holden Nova engine in it haha
you are so pro allan! if i ever come to australia its will be to make you turbo my chevy 305!
Gold! Love the link to Binky and follow up to Richard’s comment re: Milsey..
Al you are an auto-mechanical genius!
Great episode guys keep em going!
Obviously had to watch episode 18 of project Binky. Brilliant!
Hahahahaha holy shit. Bedford parts guy is 10/10 every old car parts shop. I work in the diesel & turbo parts industry and that is my entire life.
Great AN fitting knowledge drop
The most expensive fitting, and very rarely used, is the 360deg fitting.
but I'm wondering if a straight or 180 is a better choice 7:01
😂
The 360 fitting is not that uncommon, nearly all bmw have them between their blinkers and blinkerfluid reservoir.
Ya VW too, all the German cars do for emblem cooling
Tip - two 180 fittings are cheaper and work just as well.
