Excellent as always Corin, please could you do a video on bonsai soil we should be using in the UK. Types and mixed for species, please. many thanks Richard.
Nice work. I quite like the tree from the other side too. I'm glad I can repot pines now as I have had dandelion growing in a pot and it's really annoying. I will get onto this tout suite.
I said it before I like your style. The wiring was good. Learned a few things too. Not getting the needles between the wire and the trunk. Your working and explaining is very understandable. Ofcourse 👍👍
A beautiful tree love how you pulled the main trunk in and extended the branches , pot is also stunning looks great with the tree. Really enjoyed the video you are the daddy!!
another educational video showing us the steps to creating and improving the future concept of a bonsai tree that will look so much better through time and care. Thank You Corin for sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Corin, that was Economical, Efficient, & Educational. I only wish you had done regular videos way back, & I am sure in hind sight you do....Many thanks for your knowledge..
4, 5 buenas decisiones y el árbol tiene otro nivel y otra estética diferente. Just 4, 5 decissions and the tree has another level and diferent aesthetics. Of course, is not the final pot and needs more branch ramification but a great job. Thanks for sharing.
Another informative video Corin the changes to the pine made an Big difference. The new pot is a true beauty. Question---how to grow surface roots as these were stunning. 👍👍👍👍
Awesome job, just started watching your channel. Love how easy you make it to understand what your doing and why. Feels like i have a better grasp of the concept and understanding of bonsai. This is the only channel that i found that helps me to understand and feel like i can do some good bonsai. You're technical but in a way i can understand and you actually demonstrating while talking is helpful too. Thanks.
Hey Corin. I've been loving your channel! I also watch a lot of gardening youtube channels and was recently talking to myself saying I've need to find some more bonsai channels to balance things out and I find it hard to find bonsai channels that I like enough to stick with long term. Your definitely one I'll be sticking with. I look forward to many years of bonsai videos from you and Greenwood Bonsai!! Cheers!
Thanks again for another informative video. I know that the pot is a little bit over-sized (you said so)...and I think that it is a little bit too plain when compared with the flaky mature bark. I would suggest either a plain pot with more aged patina (the chosen pot looks 'too young') or a similar plain pot with a small region of flakiness extending beneath the nebari to match the bark.
I have other pots, but didn't want to put it in to a very expensive hand made pot, as it will be for sale. Future pot choice can be elected by the new owner to their tastes. Often people will commission a pot from a bonsai potter once they have owned the tree for a while and go used to it.
Beautiful job, Corin! You are a real artist. I don't really like pines for bonsai (I know: heresy!) but I really enjoyed this vid- you're always worth watching.
Yet another fab video Corin, The clarity and quality of the video is epic and the educational content brilliant!! When you said that late October is a good time to repot Pines, Would this apply to other evergreens like Junipers etc? Cheers 👍
@@greenwoodbonsaistudio Many thanks for the reply Corin, I was hoping to have attended South Yorkshire Bonsai Society for your presentation but caught covid and had to isolate!, I've since passed it to the wife so have to isolate again!! 🙁
Aussie Dave here, wow 🙂 you have turned a nice looking pine into a surparb looking tree, again a very good idea and video..🤗👍
Very nice sympathetic restyle to enhance what was already there and a great improvement for the future
Bonsai phill looks good now good job corin thanks mate
Wow just wow. Need to like this.
What an astonishing transformation.
Another great video with good close shoots very informative very nice design. 👍👍🇵🇷 I also like the back of the tree. 👍👍
Thank you, very nice looking pine after you´ve touched it... looking forward to the next tree.
Thanks Corin, another super tree.
great work Corin & very helpful info
Another great video Corin, thanks. A real transformation.
Wow! Nice job!
I like the "back" as a possible front...seems to have more character with the jins
although its a possible option the chosen front is much better in person, and the apex has better direction.
I like the back as the front also personally
Love the contrast in texture. Really makes it pop
Sei un mostro! Grandioso!

GREENWOOD BONSAI ROCKS
Agree. Really enjoy his videos
Corin, that was Economical, Efficient, & Educational. I only wish you had done regular videos way back, & I am sure in hind sight you do....Many thanks for your knowledge..
Yes, thanks Bob, wasn't till I saw it back, that I realised I'd only cut 3 little shoots off, nearly all the tree was used !
4, 5 buenas decisiones y el árbol tiene otro nivel y otra estética diferente. Just 4, 5 decissions and the tree has another level and diferent aesthetics. Of course, is not the final pot and needs more branch ramification but a great job. Thanks for sharing.
Looks fantastic
Beautiful pine 😎👌

Wonderfull work as usual: simple, quick and efficient !
What Bruno said Corin😄

Beautiful🥰
Epic work
Branch movement is vastly improved

31:39 I like _this_ as the front view
Great, Just Great!

You make it so beautiful
Thnx for nice video
Corin, do you have a pic or specs on your wire dispenser/holder? Seems pretty cool.
Baba full power..... full power
Very compliments for this beautiful black pine, you have a great talent!👍👍👍👏👏👏
at the start of wiring the back looked like a good front
Beautiful job, Corin! You are a real artist. I don't really like pines for bonsai (I know: heresy!) but I really enjoyed this vid- you're always worth watching.
Thank you so much!
Good job
In my opinion directly opposite your front looks to be a lot more movement ?
What's the best thing to get Sap off your hands?😊
Yet another fab video Corin, The clarity and quality of the video is epic and the educational content brilliant!!
When you said that late October is a good time to repot Pines, Would this apply to other evergreens like Junipers etc? Cheers 👍
Yes, we have been doing many of them too.
@@greenwoodbonsaistudio Many thanks for the reply Corin, I was hoping to have attended South Yorkshire Bonsai Society for your presentation but caught covid and had to isolate!, I've since passed it to the wife so have to isolate again!! 🙁
How long do you typically leave the wire on when redirecting a tree?
I take it off just before it begins to cut in, can be anywhere from 4 months to 1 year + depending on tree growth rate, and time of year etc
great work but I am surprised that you do a repotting that late in the year. Not too dangerous?
NO, fine
What soil is he using for the repotting? :)
I use Kiryu-Tsuna
Ok mantap sukses mampir 👍
41:12 i prefer this side of the tree!
As a tree, not much to look at but maybe a large rock may give it a more interesting look
👍🍎👌
I may be completely wrong but I feel as if it needed a darker pot. That kinda turd brown seamed to clash with the colors of the tree.
I like your vids, but this seems to me too long. The wiring could be skipped. Not shaping of course 😃
See bonsai people yellow see Michael Jackson people black ok I see people love natural know would frowned very much agree 😂😂
