The thing is, making a website is easy, making it fit propperly for your business is hard and needs experience not only in design but much more. SO if you are a businessowner or want to earn lots or money with the site, don't skimp on the cost.

ablanchi no they actually thought of a design, did time duration, and made buttons that connected to appropriate pages. It’s a lot more to it than just pictures and text dumbass
@@whoelsehoe4104 Depends in which country they are, but I don't see myself building a website for 100$ maybe for 500$ brochure and multiple pages for 1000$ and again I would be using my pre-made code, building a website from scratch with bespoke design PSDs can cost you easy 30k$
went with a bangladeshi programmer. those guys have a low overhead so they can charge less. looks like he put a weeks worth of work, but ultimately you could only tell by looking at the code, but i imagine he used a lot of plugins if it's wordpress, or used Divi or some other builder to create a fast website.

Well, plus the initial setup, homepage, content upload, etc. Which usually takes me about an hour or two, depending on the project. So really not a bad deal. Think I need to start outsourcing!
@@bradenanderson5087 Keep in mind that you need to do the Fiver procedure instead, get a brief ready, assets ready, and leave room for bad results and revisions. And the fact that $100 websites are completely useless and you're better off with a Facebook page.

@@corriedebeer799 Because in order to create a nice converting website that would actually rank, you need to put some effort in it. It takes a lot more than a $100 to pull that off. If you're someone that has a word-of-mouth type of business and you just need a template so your business card doesn't stay empty then sure, $100 template will do the trick. Honestly I'd use a Facebook fan page over a $100 website.

making a website is not only about design it also about well optimization, responsive, and speed.
I think that the sellers are only doing the frontend, such as html css and javascript. To improve optimisation, responsiveness and speed you would need a backend too, which would cost a lot more than $100

Under Chrome in the dev tools in the upper left corner you can choose to emulate a mobile viewport. Maybe better to show the mobile-friendly responsiveness of a website. Cheers

Fiverr helps me with popup projects, I usually have to make adjustments and add some flair, like the missing hover button, but usually I get a good foundation and its saves me a lot of time

these are just templates. 10 minutes adding some pictures, text, etc and you are done and you sell it for 100.
Just like anything else, you need to take time to learn. THEN it takes 10 minutes of work. So the $100 is paying you back for the time you took to learn. Your first one will take much longer than 10 minutes but when you get better, that $100 is for only half hour of work which is good money even here in America.

If you spend years honing your landscape painting skills, and you only get offers of $10 for your painting, then your painting is worth $10. The market always determines what something is worth.

These "cheap" websites are just people selling ready-made templates with stock photo. Nothing special at all... you are better off making these templates instead.

A bit simplified, but once you get a routine in...it's really not so difficult.

try using something like cash parking(go daddy) or another parking program and then spend a little money on fiverr for traffic and you can actually make money on those domains. Have spent like $20 over the last 6 months and have gotten paid several hundred dollars and it is still rolling in. I take a little from the check to buy ads or another domain. Slowly but surely building up

As a software engineer and accessibility expert, these may pass for some but these sites will fail from a usability and accessibility perspective. If you are creating low-cost sites UX/UI and accessibility needs to be integrated into the theme and widgets regardless of the CMS or bootstrap esk theming framework.

Kiwiii Master accessibility is how usable it is for people who don’t use keyboard, mouse, screens in a typical setup (ie. people with disabilities). Just because you can hover on a link with a mouse and click it doesn’t mean you can use the keyboard to navigate the page using the tab key as easily. That’s just one example but there’s a lot to it like colour contrasts, hover states, tab indexes

i should really start doing some wordpress, pure html/css /javascript and php is taking me months to finish a website. these guys pulled this off in a week. eventhough this isn't a full website but the whole front-end finished in a few days is kinda impressive.

domain name on google is $10 a month and then Firebase by Google has free static hosting. I'm currently hosting it. it's confusing to setup a bit since you'd need to run command prompt lines to set it up but it works great for me.
You gave them the logo and paid for all the hosting. Good for someone who needs a basic site. You've also got things like SEO, branding and maintenance of the site. If someone had never touched wordpress before you'd still have to learn how to edit content and the interface etc. You can't go wrong for the prices though but I'd say to people it's better to learn it yourself because you'll probably be maintaing it anyway and want to add additional stuff to it at a later date.

Did you consider that it's smarter to pay the $30 to $100 then to do it yourself?
You always need to consider your opportunity cost... How much more money can you make in the time it takes you to build the website yourself?
If you are skilled and your standards are high you might end up paying 5000 bucks for a website. So paying someone 100$ to do a website for you when you are mid-senior level will leave you with a useless website full of bugs, shit accessibility, garbage code and so on. And usually you'll have to start from scratch because the foundation of a website is hard to refactor.
It's pertinent to know that investment is essential to make more money. Right guys?
Majority of people don't invest due to the lack of trade discipline or because of ignorance. but for me, I think investing in forex or stocks marketing would be a wise idea.
