Love your take on this recipe. When I found out Firecrackers were easy to amke at home I looked for recipes. I used to eat Texas Firecrackers years ago. They were in the cracker aisle and made by some cracker company. I miss them. But those crackers, like yours, do not use ranch mix. I don't know why everyone is now insisting on putting ranch dressing mix into their firecrackers. Why make a spicy treat and then add something that cools it off? Hats off to you for this variation!
Wow! These are so easy to make and delicious! Thank you! My second batch I added only 1 tsp Cheyenne pepper but added 1 tsp of red pepper flakes and added 2 tsp chicken bullion powder instead of the salt. So good 😋
i love spicy crackers and have made them often, and this recipe sounds wonderful, but I have never seen a recipe for these that has brown sugar. What does that do for the flavor?
True Nashville hot is balanced with brown Sugar always just more cayenne the more hot you want it the brown sugar really does balance the heat just like the heat more or less all on your taste buds

These are really good eating right. Now as I am traveling for work
awesome recipe!

I wonder how It'd taste if you put a tsp of chicken granules. You'd want to make sure it dissolved good in the oil but I'm thinking it'd be a hit!
Yum!!!
Easy easy to make
