I have knee issues, just had a total knee replacement within the year. Looking for shoes and sliders that actually support me with my everyday life activities. By far the Hoka Bondi have worked for me & the Ora recovery sliders have been fantastic in relieving my foot irritability. Thank goodness, hopefully does the same for you all who have orthopedic challenges.
I got chronic Hoffa's fat pad impingement after a meniscus repair. Bought a pair of Bondi 8 a couple weeks ago and so much more comfortable to walk. My foot and knee hurts with them off
I love these sandals! I wear these around my house. I’m a true 6.5 in women and tried both a size 7 and size 6 and went with 6 as they felt perfect. I also bought the Oofos to compare but found my bare feet sweating a lot in them and I found they weren’t as supportive and too soft causing me more pain due to my plantar fasciitis. I was a huge fan of the adidas adillete comfort slides before my chronic foot pain but now they’re too soft for me. Everyone’s feet are different and we may have unique needs at different points in our lives. One day I hope to get back to wearing any slides I want but for now these Hoka’s offer great support for me! Thanks for the review!
I got them in grey recently. Absolutely love them. I usually wear a US 9 but I had to size down to 8 for a comfy snug fit. So far the best slides I’ve ever worn. Thanks for the review, this really helped!
@@therealvoltix Visiting a couple of stores nearby and trying in person would be my best recommendation. I did the same, some online research and then visited (3 stores in a mall nearby). Hoka doesn’t come in half sizes unfortunately, so I had to size down, else would’ve gone for 8.5!
These were the first slides I purchased without your review, because my neighbor bragged on them so much. He said that’s all he wears now. So I bit the bullet and purchased them. Had to go a size up on these and they fit perfect. I have the Crocs mentioned in the video and I’d have to say…… they are Neck and Neck, to me. Thanks for your videos.
I use the crocks for outdoors and the orcas at home only. The crocs are more grippy and seem to stay on my feet way better. The hokas are easier for me to wear without socks.
I’m normally an 11 in slides but with these had to go with the 10 because the size 11 felt loose and with these you want them snug not loosely fitting since they can’t be adjusted. I say 8.5/10 not the most squishy but they are very nice feels like a slide/shoe
just bought a pair and I’m wearing em. I love em, I wear crocs alot so I wanted to switch it up and I mess with them alot. I have wide feet myself and they fit good and are comfortable. I wear a 12 in crocs and decided to go up to a 13 with the hoka slides and glad I did.
I tried crocs but don’t like the bumps plus they aren’t as comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Atleast not for me. I love my hoka slides though
I wore a size 11 but find the recovery slide at size 13 discounted to $24 from $71 online, should I get the size 13 or get anything with a closer size to myself?
@@Arya-hu3dj If you wear a size 11 that might be a bit too much space in the slides. Like I said I wear a 13 and I like the little extra space in slides so it’s all about preference. I actually am wearing 13 in crocs as well now because of that. Hopefully this helps.
Bought these about two weeks ago before going on vacation. I wear an 8.5 in Adidas normally and my Adilettes are a 9.0. Went with the tan colorway and actually love them with some neutral socks. I did have to go with an 8.0 on these because they are a bit big, but an 8.0 was a solid, snug fit which I liked. Absolutely love the arch, footbed, and the curve at the heel. I ended up walking over three miles in these one day on vacation and felt just fine at the end of the day. I would have been in so much discomfort if I did that in my adilettes. Big props to Hoka on these.
I got mines on sale for $40 bucks at urban of course plus taxes... And at 1st I thought they were just ok. Almost thought it was a waste of money... Until I picked up a serving job. One day my feet were soooooo sore. I put these slides on and the pain instantly went away. I were them everyday since I've been working! I'm so glad I got them
Thanks for showing how much the soles flex. In the first 20 seconds of your video, I realized that I cannot wear these without pain. I must have inflexible soles due to hypermobility. This is a well recommended brand and I can easily understand why, but they're simply not the shoes for me.
Ayyy appreciate the shoutout!Funny enough you got the same two colors I own. I’ve heard people say Yeezy are softer or more comfy but I tried them from the latest restock and maybe it’s my wide feet but much rather the Hokas.
