Monika's editing is absolutely fantastic... including the very hard and time consuming search for the right music to enhance and compliment the pictures in the right way. Everything fits. Thx M.
Thanks @millinutz - I totally agree, I was going to post a thanks to Monika myself - they are a team but the lovely Monika loves to hide and be behind the camera! And the Production work as well.... gives the totally professional backing to Freddie's open and casual style. It was a very long time ago when we saw Monika at a high rise apartment, somewhere in the Mediterranean I think, walking in front of Freddie. A lovely woman, and very capable, but always the shy, silent partner! Thanks guys! Graeme, NZ
Freddie, you and Monika have some outstanding adventures. Completely get why Tenerife is so dear to you both: petrolhead's paradise, a kaleidoscope of micro climates, four seasons in one day (sometimes), fabulous locals and postcards around every bend in road. Good on both of you! Enjoy every minute 👍
Love Tenerife, we're normally there around the 1st half of November, but this year, we've followed your lead from earlier in the year, and this year, we're in Goa. Thanks Freddie and Monica I'd never of thought of Goa as a destination but we love it here.
Good to see you travelling and being Tenerifes tourism embassador again 😀 thanks for taking us with you up north. Always a pleasure to travel with you both
This version of the Harley Softail Springer was produced from 1997 to 2003. I believe production had to stop when ABS became compulsory and something about the forks meant that it would not work. I imagine they are collectable, but not for you Freddie - there is too much chrome to keep clean 😀😀
I did the whole region of Anaga last summer with a friend, he on a Z650 and me on my Ducati scrambler, dream roads with dream scenery even for us and we live on La Gomera.
Wow you two! I’ve watched you pretty much from your beginning, followed your adventures, followed your last Tenerife adventure but, 😳 this is, in my opinion, the best vlog ever. Monika, your cinematography and music choice is stunning. I actually had tears at some of the beauty. Freddie, near the end in that cafe when you were chatting with the owner, Monika took some video of the black framed pictures. My OCD would have made me straighten them all up 😂😂 It was beautiful from start to finish and we are definitely going there on your recommendation Well done both ❤❤
Wow James- emigrating! That is hugely exciting😀 If it’s of any help, the north of Tenerife is seen by some as the new hot spot. There will be an huge motorway project completed on the island soon that’ll connect the north off the island. This’ll raise prices in the north and be a game changer, so a great time to buy before it’s completed:)
Tenerife is brilliant, especially when the weather is rubbish back home. You bought back great memories for us. We rode Adam's T120 and black Ducati monster to that same beach last year. If you ride on a little further, there's an amazing viewpoint from higher up on the cliffs. Carol & I thank both you and Monika for initially igniting our interest in Tenerife with your first visit. Love your enthusiasm, keep up the good work 👏
The north of Tenerife is certainly unique and not what most Brits want from the canary islands which is a good thing. Low key towns and villages with good weather that isn't necessarily sunny all the time and some fabulous Canarias architecture. We very rarely venture south - only for flights from Reina Sofia TFS if we can't get back to Spain from TFN north airport. It's like being on a completely different island and we love it, and It's great to see your adventures on the bike in this part of Tenerife.
Very nice part of the island in the north, I visited Puerto De La Cruise and went to the Loro Parro Park. Had a great day out and saw some amazing wildlife. The weather can be quite unusual in the north of the island changing remarkably quickly from rain and low hanging cloud to brilliant sunshine. Amazing experience 😎🌧🌞
The first time we visited Tenerife I was in the flight deck of our Britannia Airways Boeing 737 care of my pilots licence and a polite request which was acquiesced. You can't do that now since 9/11 security clamp downs. As we approached the island from the north (headed for Tenerife South) we could look down on it and note the volcano. Characteristically, the south of the island was cloud free, but the north was invisible under a layer of cloud. This is because the prevailing wind is almost always from the south so almost always the warm wet airflow (wet because it has come from over the sea) from south of Tenerife is forced to rise up the windward (southern) slopes of Teide which cools the air causing it to release some of its water content which condenses out as cloud, to be carried north over the nort1h of the island. That's why the south is sunny and the north is not! Vince C.
Great video Freddie. What a paradise!! About four times the size of the Isle of Wight where I live. Beautiful. I wonder how much properties cost there to buy....? Mmm..... 🙂
The one you saw was an Autobianchi a112. They made them in my city outside of Milan. In my city there was the Autobianchi and the Innocenti factory. But there's not much left. All the factor part of the city was bought by other companies, the history is forgotten. Similar story to the one you've shown about the BSA factory that there is just one unmarked building left Ps: look up for the Autobianchi Bianchina, or my favourite one, the Autobianchi 500 Giardiniera
Freddie, I am afraid to tell you, you did not visit Benijo beach (or at least, you do not show it on the video) Benijo is like 1 km away from the beach you show, and the access is through 5 minutes walk stairs. Benijo is the most magical beach in the island, sunset there, is magic. Check the song "Benijo" from the spanish author Andrés Suarez, you will love it. Thanks Monica and you for the love and respect you show to mi island!
I’m embarrassed to say that I realised this only after checking google maps when I got home!😆 I’ll definitely listen to this song, thank you Francisco:)
Good stuff ever F&M - (glad your name isn't Simon, or that would look rude) - travel is definitely subjective - Tenerife is one of my least liked destinations ever, and I would never bother to go again?! - glad it floats your boat of course!
@@FreddieDobbs dw - you could do a vlog from Beirut, Gaza or Yemen and I'd still watch - it's what you bring to the table Freddie that makes this stuff watchable, not necessarily the destination!
interesting story about the nazi's in the Canary Islands I do know from my travels to Brazil Fortaleza had a large influence of germans, very racial too their in a gated community, love the vid can't wait 4 more
Very interesting. I know there are (/were) towns in Argentina that were literally German towns (architecture, shops, population). There are really interesting old photos of huge Nazi parades in the Canaries- it was a sanctuary for them back in the ‘40s
At ease soldier. Apparently Royal Enfield say I can’t bring my Classic 350 back from India as it wouldn’t pass an MOT?!? Not sure why, it seems identical to me as a layman.
Nice vid, Freddie, but I have to say you do have a strange taste in cars. A nice open-top sports car would be my choice in Tenerife, not a Fiat shopping car. 😁
@Freddie: Because you inspired me to discover the beauties of the Canarian Islands 3 years ago you get away with the pronunciation of Benijo. However, please make an effort and learn how to produce the sound of a "J" in spanish. Hint: it never sounds like a "H". Thx for the vid, it makes my heart dance ...

This made my day! Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot to me 🥹🙏
Nothing better than getting back from work and relaxing with a Freddie Dobbs video.
Thanks! The Tenerife content has been very good!
Thanks very much!
Beutiful place is a. Understatement! I mean how can one island can be so diverse ❤ blows my mind
It’s incredible isn’t it, and so many micro climates too
Almost like being there. Thank you both. Great videography as always Monica. 😊
What a life! Unfortunately I am too old for any of your travels now, but watching them fills me with joy. Long may you both enjoy your life together.

Wow, I thought it was way older! Thanks for sharing this Andy. I now really want a chrome bike. I don’t know if I’d clean it, but I really want one😍
And, a oh, no, carburetor....

Great video Freddie ! 😊 thank you !
Beautiful video my friend. Takes me back.
Thanks for the beachfront history lesson. I thought I was watching ‘Partridge on Pirates’.
Great entertaining reporting as always Freddie 👌
Ooh i love Taganana...my favourite part of the island

That’s extremely kind of you to say so, delighted you enjoyed it!:) I unfortunately have the opposite of OCD- a complete lack of care😆
Great video Freddie (I’m only a few mins in so far) keep up the great work. Also we love the history bits too 😁
Thanks Lee, delighted you’re enjoying it!
What a cool place, great video 😊😊
Hopefully to be emigrating, Tenerife is high on my list & I thank you for these excellent vids, especially this 1 of the not so tourista area....

How much difficult is the switch from a left to right hand drive?
Cary on with tis beautiful exploration videos...

I do have a strange taste in cars😆 I’d LOVE and old Renault 5 for the island (I really am weird!)
@@FreddieDobbs Wonderful. It's all part of what makes you different!

Remember that Franco welcomed many Nazis after the war. In Denia in Valencia they also gathered.
