I love this. It bothers me so much that a lot of ppl here claim to be minimalist but they just declutter and buy more to declutter later. If you have it use it till it brakes then buy new.
When I don’t like the optic of old furniture anymore I try to change them with spraypaint or something to make it last longer :) same with clothes if they still fit I dye them it’s so much fun and absolutely new after :)

I do exactly what you do, Louise-donate things I no longer use, and recycle everything that's recyclable. With the exception of daily food, I take my time to make sure that I really need this item before I make the purchase. Consumerism has ruined many people, not to mention the environment. Keep up with your great work!👍

Looking forward to your journey. I’m not ultra minimalist yet - but pretty much up there with you.. I have a small apartment in a chalet in the Swiss alps . It’s a constant process but by next year I will be an ultra minimalist like you. Sunglasses are actually very useful! They protect our eyes from harsh UV rays and keep them healthy. The skin and the inside of our eye! They look super cute on you too. How exciting about your travels coming up! Is your pup 🐶 coming along too? ❤
She is staying with my family because our travel is not going to be a « normal » one haha but I will explain everything in a next video! 😌

your english is fantastic, i am very inspired and im dec,jttering almost everything in July and traveling. its scary and exciting for me too. But moving is a great chance to reevaluate possesions and attachments
