Will and Martin just kind of hooked me from the get go. The last film was……….interesting but not near bad enough for me to want to avoid this one all together.
They need to bring back the 90 day or longer theater window. People are too accustomed to waiting for streaming, and its costing the studios tons of money. I am going to watch in theaters. Hopefully Martin Lawrence is okay.
Your review reminded me of an episode of Psyche, were Lassie (the shows "bad ass" cop) gets scared on the job when he learns hes going to be a dad. Then he realized he has to be the bad ass to protect his wife and kid.
"Psyche"? That was a great show. And no, it's not just because the main character has the same first name as me(although, i do see that as one of the show's positives), but because the show was both hilarious and dramatic, and knew how to balance both of those things. Especially for an hour long show. Each episode felt like a little mini movie. And the theme song was good too. It's a great show. I really wish the show had its own movie. It definitely should at least have one by now. It's been around for a long time. Such an underrated show too, well, somewhat underrated.
@@JoybuzzerX Oh nice, thanks. That's great to know. "Psych" has always been one of my favorite shows. It's amazing how long it's lasted, without losing its touch. You'd think a show about a fake psychic helping out the police wouldn't last this long or be THIS good, but wow, I'm surprised at how good it is. And the guy you're talking about Lassie, I'm pretty sure I've seen that guy in another made for TV Disney movie a few years ago when I was a kid. And I think I have. Fun Fact; he was the villain in a Disney Channel Original Movie, called "Luck of The Irish", which was one of my favorite movies when I was younger, so it's nice to know that this guy's still acting, and really well too. Everyone's acting on "Psych" is REALLY good. Like these guys should win awards or be in other movies, if they haven't already. But thanks again for reminding me of a really good show.

Bad Boys ranked: 1, 3, then 2. Will wait to see this one before slotting it in somewhere. Bad Boys 2 had the bigger setpieces. They were spectacular at times. But I have always felt it was 30 minutes too long. And 2 dozen setpieces does not maketh a good movie. EDIT: Seen the latest one since posting this comment. With my wife, two boys, and mother-in-law. In a theatre. We had a blast. I loved how different it felt from the 2nd one, while having some of the 1st movie's DNA in it. And how it essentially picked up from the 3rd without skipping a beat. Loved the role reversal between Will and Martin's characters. And it is believable. Sometimes all it takes is a mid-life crisis to make you feel like Superman, while the same crisis and heartache can turn a maverick into a cautious person. It was just long enough to not overstay its welcome, had everything you need from a BB movie, and more. We lost our collective minds when Reggie went alpha on the baddies. And its believable because they set him up as being in the army while not really knowing how well he may be trained. It was one of the most most bad-ass, out of left-field scenes I have ever seen in my life in any action movie. And it kicked ass. So...my ranks of all BB movies? 1, 4, 3, then 2. Again...2 is not bad. But it lacks flow. And it feels like 2 dozen high octane action setpieces stitched together with cotton candy.
This movie was the fun, feel good, hilarious, action packed time I needed. Not sure what mood you’re in or what BS you’re on but based on the comments the majority of folks disagree with your take. Frankly it was as fun as the first one.

I LOVED the first-Big Momma's House-saw it at the cinema too and laughed my &&& off at certain scenes. But,Martin was a-SAVAGE-beast as host of Def Comedy Jam,he was roasting people in the audience like crazy. LOL. And his first 2 comedy specials are-HILARIOUS.
That's a great movie.

The fact that Jeremy doesn't want his characters to grow up makes it sound like his the one that is going through a midlife crisis
Was thinking the same thing was an odd criticism. When I watched it I enjoyed the character progression.

If you have seen his Star Wars reviews, you'd know this to be true. He's been very jaded lately.
Just came back from the theater. It’s definitely worth seeing in theaters, very crowd pleasing and fun.
Jeremy wasn't drinking scotch during this review. So, it wasn't absolutely terrible.
That's good lol. I actually enjoyed the last one for whats it's worth, not as good as the first two however, primarily Bad Boys 2, a very entertaining movie and one of those sequels that's better than the first

This movie was great! 10/10

I enjoyed it. It felt very 2000s action movie. A good summer blockbuster type movie for the big screen. I kinda disagree about waiting for streaming, i think the audience enhanced the experience.
This movie was awesome and definitely worth seeing it in the theaters!
Im just waiting to see what the box office for this is after the whole Oscars slap. The last Bad Boys movie did pretty damn well, so this is really the first time we're gonna get to see what the public opinion of Will Smith is actually like post slap.
No one hates Will Smith, only his wife.
2 people will watch this dumpster 🔥
Bro it's not like he went up there and said something incredibly rascist, people shouldn't hate him and not watch his movies just because of that
@@tonyzamboni2691 Weird logic that you think nasty words is worse compared to assault.
I think Bad Boys will bomb but not because of the slap. I think people are just burned out on Hollywood living off these older franchises.
Very big missed opportunity to call it bad boys 4 life. Gonna see it later this week
That's what the last one was called. Are you people brain dead?
I love that most of the comments are either "This movie exists?!" Or "slap joke".

Well, that's great to know. I've personally enjoyed the other 3 Bad Boys movies, so I'm hoping this one's able to live up to those. Although I wasn't really that worried. It's a Bad Boys movie. They haven't let me down previously, so I doubt they'd start now, you know?
Reggie got his respect. 😂
Only hope is it's like all of them where you can turn your brain off and just have fun
I don't understand why people are so excited to "turn their brain off". Is being stupid enjoyable? I don't like the idea of turning my brain off. I like thinking. I like solving problems. I don't like feeling stupid, so I don't understand why others are so excited to do so.
I'm a doctor. when I'm at work, my brain is going to be working at full capacity. I'm gonna have to think about all kinds of shit ,
so sometimes I'd enjoy a movie where it's just silly fun .
not saying I don't enjoy cerebral movies, it's just every now and then we need movies where you don't need logic or deep themes or something serious and you shut your brain off and relax for 2 hrs and go on with life

The scene where Will comes out as the drunk uncle in the first film is still one of my all time favorite moments and frankly it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Will and Martin just kind of hooked me from the get go. The last film was……….interesting but not near bad enough for me to want to avoid this one all together.
Drunk uncle? That was 2....FOH
The Reggie scene is Bad Boys 2
Chris: see It in theaters
Jeremy: see It when It streams.
WHO TO BELIEVE?!?!?
The first Bad Boys movie was good because it had 2 epic scenes. The 964 Turbo intro and it vs the Cobra.
They need to bring back the 90 day or longer theater window. People are too accustomed to waiting for streaming, and its costing the studios tons of money.
I am going to watch in theaters. Hopefully Martin Lawrence is okay.
Martin has been cloned. Just do some research and you'll figure it out real quick
I agree. I love going to the movies, but I know if I miss something it’ll be at home in a month.
Oh no the studios aren’t making enough money shovelling the repetitive crap onto our screens how awful
Studios lose money due their own piss poor decisions and simps like you encourage them 😂
Studios? Who cares?
I might give it a chance. Haven't seen the third one yet but I heard good things about it and these films are consistently entertaining.
The last movie was pretty awful.
I like the 3rd one. There all a good time.
Based on the little bit I've heard about the new one, you may want to see the 3rd one before this one. I thought the 3rd one was good though.
Definitely watch the 3rd movie before this one. Lots of the BB3 storyline & characters carryover, and it makes the emotional beats stronger.
I was waiting for this so much!

@@shawnfields2369 I believe it's had 4 made for TV movies now.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I'm not sure what people were expecting, lol. It's a funny movie filled with great action, a decent antagonist, and both Martin and Will do great in their roles. It seems like people are still butt hurt over a slap that had absolutely nothing to do with them. Watch it for yourself and make up your own opinion dont take the words of these reviewers as gospal because they have their own biases and opinions that are different from ours. Just my two cents.
Loved the movie best movie in ages
I’m surprised you haven’t gave you’re thoughts on Venom: The Last Dance trailer
💀
Martin smacking Will for still been with Jada she gave him panic attack 😂😂😂
This movie was the fun, feel good, hilarious, action packed time I needed. Not sure what mood you’re in or what BS you’re on but based on the comments the majority of folks disagree with your take. Frankly it was as fun as the first one.
