Because to my experience the women in their 50s-60s are the meanest, most underhanded. I more or less deduced that it is because the men that they could be with are looking for distractions (thus at risk of these women losing "status" around other women their age and lifestyle). The expectation to be "nice" is nauseating.
I tell my daughter "It's not good to be pretty and nice. I like a mean pretty woman, who has the potential for kindness. nice is phony."
I also teach my daughter to WORK HARD.
Another form of Abuse in the work place is by assuming you are where you are because you're pretty.
They will never credit to your work. The right people will notice
You don't have to use your looks, because people expect that. Your looks are an after thought.
I can't handle it from men. Most people see it for what it is. HOWEVER, I can't stand it when it comes from women, and it's worse when it comes from a gay man.

There is truth to this. When I was in highschool I was in my awkward phase. Women would often scoff at me, looking at me from above so to speak, but it was never the pretty girls. Pretty ones were always nice to me. It was average girls who were mean, while guys mostly ignored me. Then when I got 18 I had this random glow up, just grew into myself and started to carry myself in a very feminine way. Men started to be supernice to me, pretty girls remained nice, but the average women became enraged with me. Still to this day everywhere I go they seem to look for ways to bring me down, hate on me and sabotage me. If I am in their space they will claw to get me out of there, even though Ive done nothing to them. Instead of working on themselves they will focus on destroying the competition.

    • @HoneeyBee3
      @HoneeyBee3 4 місяці тому

@@j.a.g546 I was the same way. Leaning into your femininity starts with taking accountability & nurturing yourself in the areas you need. Just as you would nurture others, give that kind, friendly energy to yourself. Knowing when to slow down, to check your toxic feminine energy if you need to like gossiping, jealousy etc. Anything that triggers you, pay attention to it WITHIN YOURSELF and work on it. Don't project outward like other people, that's where they fumble their growth & a chance at genuine relationships.
I used to watch a lot of black content creators and had to drop them just based on their rant mindsets, and you could tell they were bitter, angry, and not working on themselves internally..but the channel that helped me the most that I still watch today is "The Feminine Yoni" which is ran by "Real talk with Yanie." Her lifestyle channel "the feminine yoni" has really great tips, as well as her main channel, but you have to scroll through the social issues stuff, though she drops good gems in them from time to time. Just listen to her like a podcast on an video that resonates with you. TonyaTKO is also great, when she talks about lifestyle and doesn't focus on race or social issues, though I never heard her saying anything colorist, but there is a lot of emphasis on race sometimes but she has GREAT self help advice, and sometimes you have to dig through that info to find the gems. But that's why I like Yanie now, because she has decentered men and really focuses more on the WOMAN, and designing your life without male or "other" validation but your own. Watching her growth has been beautiful and inspiring too, and she just glows so much more now, compared to when she was trying to gain male & other people's approval.
I also suggest "crappy childhood fairy" and "therapy in a nutshell", so you can unpack & understand your traumas and triggers as stuff starts to bubble up, and cope with them in healthy ways, to stay focused on making progress! I know so many more channels but I don't want to keep promoting people under someone else's channel. Just start there. Also read more self help books, so you can expand your critical thinking and keep your mind focused on solving your problems as they spring up. Don't use the information to pick yourself apart, but use it in a collaborative way like "how can I use this to improve my life?" And if it doesnt resonate with you, just let it go or put it in a journal somewhere, & don't take it to heart. But the access to that self help knowledge, will sow seeds and help you grow no matter what season you are in. Do the same with finding positive UA-cam channels because sometimes it's better having a coach or guide, versus constantly reading too. I also reccomend keeping a journal or video diary so you can track your progress in realtime, collect your & organize thoughts, as well as see how much you've grown as time passes by. Lean into your femininity by leaning into nurturing youself, naturally as a woman would, but youre just turning that energy inward, so it radiates out.
I know I'm responding to an old comment but you got this! ❤ I hope you've made progress you're excited about so far! Blessings!

I'm at a new job in a hospital and when people foumd out I'm years old, they were shocked. Then women of all ages - including 20-somethings- try to bring you down. The women at work imagine I wear a ton of makeup. I was just wearing a tinted sunscreen. If I wear a lip gloss, they complain loud, "Oh, you're wearing lipstick. Are you trying to get a boyfriend at work?" Meanwhile, these girls are coming to work in their long nails and fake eyelashes which are forbidden in healthcare setting. If I'm wearing a new scrub, they say, "your scrubs are so cute. You're trying to catch men."
Like the fact I'm older, yet still fit and my skin looks young, and single, and gets attention from men at work triggers them hard.
And the men, who were nice to me in the beginning, act surly to me because I won't actually date them who are young enough to me my nephews, or because I'm simply talking to other men. But then if I actually dated any of them, I'm afraid how much it's gonna trigger everyone at work. I feel like I'm constantly being watched and judged. Leave me alone, I'm just trying to focus on my job when you losers are obsessed with me

If you are beautiful you have to go way up. You can’t be regular because you will just be stepped on. You have to fight and go all the way to the top where people will look like you or move like you.
Beauty is also about magnetism and attraction based on habits, practices or beliefs that make you beautiful and rare. I.e. graceful soft black women- very magnetic because it’s sweet yet people pick on these type of women thinking they’re “weak”. They hate a peaceful woman that people want to be around.

I have been bullied all my life from my mother and my half sister. It was so bad that I became a target to other girl bullies at school because I wouldn’t defend myself. All my life I thought I was ugly and that I this treatment was my reality. I took many years to heal my self esteem and I finally realized I am attractive and that’s why I was treated so bad. My half sister always believed I was better than her but I came into this world never believing that. Now I deal with my coworkers who try to beat me down. I first experienced all of this with family. When someone complimented me, my mama would come from the other side of the room and go off on them for telling me I’m pretty or if they were praising something I did. She did it so often I used to feel ashamed to get complimented. Whenever I would talk about my accomplishments, she and my siblings used to yell over me to avoid listening to me and would say I was conceited but I knew I wasn’t. My own mama has tried to sabotage me in many ways.
However, until your channel i didn’t make the correlation. I started realizing that many of her antics were eerily similar to jealous girls and even grown women, I’ve come across in the past. Even as a preteen she has always severely mistreated me. In my family I would constantly get the short end of the stick. When something between me and a sibling happened she would defend them and have more sympathy for them even if they started abs majority of the time they did. Though I didn’t understand sometimes I would feel it was jealousy but wasn’t sure… she was truly, though she never said it, it was implied, you’re pretty so get over it. She’s never told me I was pretty, but as I got older on days I looked decent she would literally call me ugly, but before doing so she would pout as if she was offended by my beauty.
Since I’ve realized that family can act no differently than strangers I don’t feel comfortable around them.

when people would compliment me, my mother would literally steal my compliment and say thank you and not even let me speak. She never called me pretty, never tried to help me with my beauty routines or show me how to take care of myself. I had to learn all that on my own. And then she would start coming to me asking me questions about certain routines. Always told me and others growing up "i think I'm better than other people" when I literally never showed that. It caused me to dim my light for so long to show I was "humble" and not conceited or arrogant.
And the slick remarks from close friends or family members "hey lil ugly" like. Had a cousin literally try to tarnish my name saying I was stuck up and thought I was better than other people SMH, and this same cousin slept with an ex-bf behind my back and I still forgave her.
Looking back I wish I would've stood up for myself but now idc. I show my light. And I haven't talked to my competitive jealous mother and hater relatives in years. TBH I want nothing to do with her or them. And I am at peace.

    PLEASE READ 💜
I’ve been verbally tortured my entire life.
THEY DONT KNOW I was a chunky teenager that suffered from depression, low self esteem, acne, anxiety and bullying.
THEY DONT KNOW that when I put myself together current day, it’s still a challenge for me to get ready and face the world. I actually LEARNED to love myself (not arrogantly or egotistical).
I suffer from lack of hair growth so I wear hair extensions, I have acne scars underneath my makeup foundation to cover it, and that I have a stomach pouch underneath flowy dresses.
Women need to STOP judging and verbally abusing other women. They are the problem, not you. They are the ones with low self esteem (still as adults) with extremely low confidence and insecurity - they feel internally threatened and challenged by confident women that actually showcase love for themselves.
The most beautiful women have been through the MOST pain: bad partners only dating them for their bodies or as an accessory to their ego, people pleasing toxic tendencies to heal from, being taken advantage of in relationships and workplace dynamics, and lastly, being mentally, emotionally and physically abused by society (jealous women, family members and male users).
I hope this changes someone’s perspective.

I left so traumatised. And sometimes it’s not just beauty alone that trigger people, but how you dress and take the extra steps to look good plus the confidence you carry yourself with. The biggest issue I had was with my ex friend. When we’d go out in our early twenties. I was usually a bit more outgoing and I loved looking nice, and this friend would CONSTANTLY put me down and try to embarrass me in front of men. I think being attractive in any way (especially discipline being involved) threatens people. I’ve been the triggered one, and it’s miserable! It’s so crazy.. I always thought something is wrong with me because after you mentioned a lot about my experience about being bullied, isolated and all through my whole life, I realize that, wow.. there’s always a reason that people hate because they are insecure and try to dim your light, so they always project it towards you. Especially I went through many patterns through all my ex bffs, I realize that, every time I’m around them, it’s always something with their negativity that they project on me. For example, my childhood ex bff would exclude me from a friend group and said, “you’re not in the club and you can’t join.” Even most times, I get weird looks from people because I knew she probably said something to people about me. Even she tries to humiliate me in public by mentioning a lot about my insecurities, embarrassing moments and all. Even the real and blunt people warn me about her and I didn’t listen until I realize that, I have to make a last straw to cut her off because I was constantly getting hurt by her and she won’t stop at all. There would be people out there that wish you the worst and wouldn’t be happy for you. Their pride and ego would kick hard so instead, they would dim your light and they feel good when you go through the bad.
To all the pretty people out there,
You are not alone. Nothing is wrong with you. Understand that, it’s them. Not you.
You had a reason to be alone because, you set yourself boundaries from others that tried to harm you. You’re doing an amazing job for prioritizing yourself and discipline yourself on your beauty because not everyone can’t do that. You are a rare gem and never change that about yourself. There would be good people out there that, love and admire about you. Your beauty and elegance radiates and there’s always a reason why, a demon hates the beautiful radiating light. Stay strong my loves xoxo

This video is necessary. I’m a 42 yr old Accountant. I’m trying to leave Corp America because of this. I’m tired of catty spiteful women in the workplace. 😤😔

This has happened since I was in Kindergarten. I suffered from depression as early as 5 yrs old. My mother and my sister were my biggest haters. I was the petite one but I always thought my little sister was gorgeous. I've never been high maintenance and I literally hated myself because I thought something was wrong with me. I'm 43 now with kids. I found my inner peace around 38. My kids are my happy place. I have 7. Each child has added confidence, and believe it or not higher self esteem and just a reason to live because I am challenged everyday. Without my kids I never would have known how great I am on the inside. I finally belong somewhere. Thank you so much for putting this video out.
