    Just a paranoid old man here who has raised kids and been through enough trips to the ER, the ground bar next to the outside power box with the copper ground, you might consider covering it up with landscape block & rocks, or just rocks. Disaster trap for those beautiful little people you have running around, mine used to trip over any and everything. Shop looks great

    Should switched tightline down the side and installed vertical catchbasin with graded lid for service and to monitor water levels in heavy rain as of now you have no way to clean your leach field and flush down spouts. Just my 2 cents for under $50 you can retro fit it 24in ads pipe drill perforated 3in whole saw to tie in the discharge pipe stand 24in vertical poor half bag concrete in bottom then throw lid on it make sure the ads pipe (basin) is deep as your rock but still sold shop congrats

    I have a stock 350 put 1 ton of wood pellets in it. Barely hit the overload springs so then I said he'll with it loaded another on finally got it to squat pretty good. The mechanic would load a ton on his f150 and haul them to his house over an hour away. Truck ratings definitely aren't what they used to be

    Really excellent work shop!!! Did anyone do any rain run off calculations before y'all started with the drain tile and stone? That shop roof itself will shed over 600 gallons of rain after just a half inch of rain! Those two French drains are highly undersized just to deal with the shop run off. That doesn't take into account the river of run off water that streams down your side yard into the shop area. I hope I'm wrong, but I think you're gonna need a bigger boat (drain system)!!

    You are correct that the direct burial wire doesn't require conduit but I will say this, it never hurts to have that extra layer of protection just incase you are digging a trench for something else in the future and are off a little in where you think the wire is. Yes you would dig that area with a shovel but that shovel cam still cut through the insulation. At least with being buried in conduit even if you hit the pipe somewhat hard with the shovel the wire is still protected by the conduit.

  • @trevormangus7832
    @trevormangus7832 3 роки тому

    Conduit prevents or at least helps preventing someone later down the road from cutting thru it digging or from tree roots

    Looks like you installed your drain pipe with holes facing up. That is wrong, holes are to be on the bottom. Seems odd, I know, but it's the correct way to install pvc perforated pipe. Holes facing down will keep the way level in your french drain the lowest. The way you installed, you will always have 3-4" of water sitting in your trench.

There's a filter sock that the drainage pipe goes inside of to prevent any dirt or roots from clogging it up even though it's surrounded in rock it will still happen unless you use this www.lowes.com/pd/DRAIN-SLEEVE-100-ft-4-in-Pipe-Sock/3199149
