never understand why this was not a massive hit, its a beautiful song
It was a massive♦hit
Indeed, it was!
Véronique Sanson original version was a massive hit.
What a beautiful song by the brilliant and beautiful kiki dee
How can you hate a song when you were young, only to absolutely love it when you grow older? Beautiful in many ways.
She always had a beautiful ,clear voice and still does at 76 !
Why wasn't she a bigger star? Who can sing live like her? Not many, superb.
So true
Yes, I agree with that, she mostly did back up work. Always like her with Elton and Don't Go Breaking My Heart too.
Lovely. The most restrained version of this song that I've heard.
I saw her with Carmelo Luggeri in Bury on Friday evening. She's still a great performer.
She got stuck with that dipstick Elton John.
I absolutely love this song. She is a class act.
All class!
Raindrops from another planet where I live. I’m in outer space. This song is perfect.
When she sings "When I'm far away" and "Just another day" that does things to my ears and brain
I agree, it's always had that affect on me, gives me shivers, even as an earworm. This has to be one of my all-time favourite songs.
So beautiful and a lovely voice and fabulous artist.
Stunning. A perfect reminder of another, better world.
One of my all time classics. Such a tastefully sexy song with a backing/arrangement to match perfectly. They have lost the mould since.
Kiki Dee , beautiful singer, love her to bits
Beautiful and much underrated song
....Listening to each and every word makes my skin tingle. I remember this song being released and I was captivated , even more so today.....I'm older, I understand the lyrics!. Love Kiki Dee
especially as she originates just up the road from me. God bless you. Love you!
No autotune, a wonderful singer!
Not seen this video before.. I've always been a fan. She's a classy singer! Underrated artist. I'm going seeing her for the second time, in April 2022.
Makes it sound effortless. Perfectly in tune, every note.
I don't think Auto-tune was invented when this was recorded.
@michaelturner4457 I think that was the point going made - real talent doesn't need it.
What a voice! Now that is a singer! Epic!
Kiki Dee is an underrated gem. Up there with Dusty, in my humble opinion.
What a beautiful song and gorgeous singer Kiki was. The words just bring to mind what God awful mistakes we can make.
One of the greatest. Love her. ❤
Absolutely beautiful, stunning voice, I'm now 64,and have always loved her music. Also been playing Julie Covington lately, another pitch perfect voice.
You're fascinating. But I still find Kiki Dee more interesting.
Interests come in many ways, I'm not an uphill gardener.@@PaulDavis-qm7to
Are you on drugs?@@PaulDavis-qm7to
Beautifully sung by Kiki Dee and composed by French singer-songwriter Véronique Sanson.
Who could not like this awesome song😔
Kiki she was someone I loved in my teens. So underated at the time. Thanks for this . ☀️ I'd be blow drying my hair to this song as i got ready to see the girl of my dreams who looked alot like Kiki.

A french song by the great Véronique Sanson : Amoureuse
Brings me to tears
This song to me is about unrequited love..... 😢
She is beautiful
Masterpiece !
Unforgettable
Like everyone else thinks ... wow, crazy good. Astounding singer. Elton John was obviously wise to work with her.
Kiki dee beautiful.
Love this. 😘
Greatest singer 😊😊😊😊
So beautiful!
That outfit is life!!!
Kiki was fantastic and looked fab here.
I got to this song via listening to OMD's composition from their latest album ' Bauhaus Staircase '. The song 'Veruschka' has an opening passage very similar to this. Listening to it has confirmed my initial thoughts.....
his love is something I will n ot regret when I am far away ......................
Great song 🎵ever ever 🎵❤
Great song ever ever
God she’s good
Amazing voice
Linda voz! Romantismo no ar!
Fantastic singer.
Terribly underrated. This is brilliant, likewise her ‘Loving & free’, seek out her early Fontana tracks and the album she recorded at Motown (first white female singer signed to the label) esp’ the track ‘the day will come between Sunday & Monday’.
Brilliant thank you 🤗🤗👊🤙🤙
was a great song, could have changed the title - no13 in the charts didn't do it justice !
TOP POP SEMPRE ESPETACULAR!

Heartbreaking.
I just heard that Kiki is coming to Australia in August 2019 for an acoustic tour.
Let’s all go ! Friday 9th Aug 2019 at Sydney City Recital Hall tickets $71
Did you go?
The French lyrics have a totally different meaning but both are beautiful. The English version is heartbreaking though.
And yet : another mythical creature who could sing without using Autotune.
Check out Véronique Sanson's original.
Where can I find a women like that
Рыжык ты всегда в моём сердце.
She sounds so like Caroline Carpenter.
British Karen carpenter very underestimated
This is an incredibly easy song to sing.
Helen Reddy had the same song named ‘Emotion’ with different lyrics.
And so had many, many other singers. I personally like Shirley Bassey's version more but the original French one is still my favorite.
Didn´t Helen Reddy make a version called "Emotion" ?
The camera guy is having fun with his facet lens and the f. stops
veronique sanson
I guess it's fate
Véronique Samson
Original singer
Very French-hardly understood it.
Best comment ever
We had wonderful song writers in France...But what's left of France now anyways?
Love Kiki, but wonder what Karen Carpenter would do.
That bug eye bullshit gotta go
