Since 1998 this man's voice has grown up with me. As a teenager...he explained my confusing anger. As a young adult he empathized with me when I was heartbroken and when I was in love. Here I am near 40 and his voice still makes me feel understood

I know exactly what you're talking about one faithful night I went out to stop a projectile if you will and Slipknot came on over the radio grabbing my interest so I stopped and listened and the following weekend I walked around Worcester Boston area and saw them performing now 20 years later I see here with my wife and kids not having a terrible life.

For me it was how much my father loves life. When I was in my teens and wanting to floor it and take my hands off the wheel I remembered when my dad told me he sees life as a game and if you take yourself out of the game you never get to see how much you win before it's over.

I was lucky enough to be a 11 year old kid when slipknot first hit the scene and I love them for being another band that opened my eyes to music, especially metal.
But as for this, it's just wrestling music. It's boring and been done so many times by so many artists and also been done better. This is just safe rock. But thats just my opinion. I'm a music snob when it comes to metal just like Corey is But anything he's done other than slipknot has just been very safe and for the masses

I don't see how this couldn't have been a stone sour song. Love the song and there are probably reasons he has this new project going so no problem, but I wouldn't say it was "needed" in regards of starting a new band.
His voice can go from teenager pop to singing the heaviest of metal. His voice is that crazy good! And u will believe him in any song he sings. Never seen anyone be able to do that and actually be taken serious. Corey Taylor transcends music.

Been literally living life with this guy since i was 17 n saw em front row on theyre first tour in 99 and to see him now Evolved to even play a solo to a song thats popy however keeping it Corey Taylor Fasion therefore still has metal edge to it is brilliant and I respect it . Fn awesome.

You were, are, and always will be a very creative and thought provoking songwriter. It's pretty amazing all these years have gone by with Slipknot and Stone Sour your never short on ideas or material and now your on a solo project what?? But hey that's what makes you original and a complete badass!!!! Keep it up Corey your just full of surprises
