I've heard that cut and buff is the most important part of any high quality paint job. Maybe just as important as the prep work I would say from everything I've learned from watching your UA-cam videos

I'm just a consumer, but when I go to "high quality" car shows that are nationally recognized, some of the shops say they have hundreds of hours in wet sanding, cutting, and buffing. I can't say what a "flawless" paint job is because I'm not qualified to see all of the flaws, but they certainly looked 10/10 to me.

i want to add something that spray taught me. when i 1st started learning from him on this channel. its simple but so important! remember its all about the little things. that add up to make it all complete. when you sand or cut by hand with no block. keep your fingers together! a good example would be the way you swing a baseball bat not like the way you throw a football with your fingers spread out over the surface of the ball. tight fingers even cut or sanding. fingers spread out swirling and uneven cutting or sanding loss of time and money to correct your mistakes hey spray ty for another great lesson sir!

I got a cheap orbital polisher and trying it out n my old Chevy ? I guess the thing is just get going and practice and improve as you go along, after several months of working at it the ole Malibu is really shining these days, what found get the best polish compounds the equipment can be cheap then work you way to better equipment. GREAT VIDEO!!!
