honestly a good, useful video showcasing proper installation process and leather quality, but I assure you that for the back seats, the ones in the video aren't the back seats to the 11th gen honda civic (2022-present, can't speak for 2016-2021 models). As a 2025 Civic LX owner, two things I would point out for the back seats if you're thinking of buying for 11th gen:
A: the back seat sometimes doesn't split in Hondas, sometimes it's all one unit. I think that's just the civic lx version though, other models do split
B: in my car (and i think almost all new civics, sorry i couldn't easily confirm this) they don't have removable headrests, this looks like it wouldn't fit at all from what i saw in the video.
Worth noting that the front seats look near identical to mine
Thank you for your thorough and professional commentaries,
Indeed, as you mentioned, the Honda Civic has numerous years and versions, and the front seats of many versions appear the same. However, the back seats have differences.
For example, some headrests are separate, some seats are split 4/6, and some backseats have a small armrest in the middle. The installation method shown in this video is for a specific Honda Civic model, and it is available between 2016 and 2025 (some front seats may differ but the installation method remains the same). This is why the video's title includes '2016-2025.'
Other configurations of the car seat may be slightly different, but the installation method is similar. We will improve the installation methods for various Honda Civic years and configurations in the future. Thank you again for your comment.
