It looked to me like Ainsley was starting to get it. She was trying to rearrange herself and studying the way the towel was twisting. I think she hadn't yet figured out the whole solution to the problem, but it looked to me like she identified her part in it.
"Which suggests that he is aware of himself and his body" I didnt know you could figure out if a baby was aware of their existence. That is actually mind blowing. I should try this when I have a child
My life as a stay at home mom. I literally do stuff like this all the time to see if the kids can figure stuff out 😂 my five year old laughs about it now, like it's a joke haha. My one-year old gives me a death glare and goes super Saiyan.
Aww man, I remember this documental. We used to watch it with my parents when my sister was born, but mostly so I could learn how to take care of her since they had already had me.
I like how they call him the baby human. Like it could be something different. Like if they just said “baby” someone might confuse the child for a baby velociraptor.
its probably the frustration from the negative sensory response of pushing cause I have some form of horrific mental degradation and I would do that too
At first I was thinking “haha stupid baby” but then I remembered I spent a good 3 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn’t lift my left foot while my right one was standing on my shoelace.
Somewhere out there in the world those now grown up teens/young adults, still can’t quite figure out why, when they go to push a shopping cart, it’s easier than they expected.
My son is 2 next month (23 months) and was pushing his little tikes car in the hallway. His car caught on a bag in the hallway and wouldn't move. He found that the gas cap was sticking out too much and getting caught. What he did next really surprised me 😂 he opened the gas cap, which made it lie flat against the car, and stopped getting caught on the bag!
Shane Parish well in sience they do it for a reason not just for fun, and they often make progress in certain areas thanks to those experiments and stuff
Shane Parish well in science they do it for a reason not just for fun, and they study and analyze the information and with that they often make a progress in some areas etc
This video demonstrates that some adults are so stupid that they don't have the reasoning capabilities of a baby. They can't understand that in order to push the economy forward they need to take care of their own bodies first.
Bruh they love taking the broken carts to shop with all the broken ones are together and we put the working ones next to the costomers, its funny watching them scratch their heads at the problem, but the real problem is that they never climb into the cart in frustration
yeah! I think it's interesting how the 18 month girl rolled up the mat the same way the adult did at the beginning of the demonstration, as well as moving the cart in the same way an adult would move a real shopping cart. I saw a study saying that females tend to be better at "mirroring" others and copying their surroundings (idk if its true but its an interesting point!)
It was actually smart imo, she didn't see how short the rug was or the fact that it was free to move so it was a logical choice to try to unwrap the rug
Maybe because everyone is blaming everything on someone its trumps fault, its the democrats, its the Republicans, its my ex, my parents my siblings etc realizing its yourself u can sit and blame and do nothing or realize its self and move
I figured this was a study to see if 'the baby human' was capable of being a worthy social creature or not, by putting the cart away instead of leaving it in the parking lot.
oscar has a sense of self worth. he's aware that normally he's the one riding in the cart and blatantly refuses the responsibility of pushing said cart, clever boy.
"at 57 years old, Robert walked all over the house looking for his sun glasses before giving up and settling on a second pair. Only later did he realize he had them propped up on his head the whole time when attempting to put the second pair up."
That is a crucial finding. Meaning that if children are not protected and guided well in the earliest 18 months of age, a serious mental problem may occur!
Baby: hmm yes. I can see that the shopping cart is tied to the carpet which my body's gravitational weight is holding the carpet down. Which means that the shopping cart cannot move. Also baby: *maybe shaking will help*
Have you ever heard of spatial awareness? Well then you must have a brain of a two year old cause any body that has a matured brain knows that shaking does in fact not help in this situation.

That's the first time I remember thinking a conscious thought and having a concept of liking a thing. I don't know how old I was exactly, but the shoe in question I remember distinctly as being the type that kids first get when they've started walking.
It looked to me like Ainsley was starting to get it. She was trying to rearrange herself and studying the way the towel was twisting. I think she hadn't yet figured out the whole solution to the problem, but it looked to me like she identified her part in it.

Lollllll too good 🤣
"Which suggests that he is aware of himself and his body" I didnt know you could figure out if a baby was aware of their existence.

Now I know what happens to all the alien abducted babies
Its good to specify in case other species watch this
I love how they call them a “baby human” and not just a baby or child
Aww man, I remember this documental. We used to watch it with my parents when my sister was born, but mostly so I could learn how to take care of her since they had already had me.
when i first saw the thumbnail with the baby and a cart, i thought they're going to make an experiment about consumerism on early age lol
I thought that too! Though thats something The onion would make

Same lol

I like how they call him the baby human. Like it could be something different. Like if they just said “baby” someone might confuse the child for a baby velociraptor.
Well, based on how some baby humans act, especially during the teething phase, I can see how easy it can be to mix one up for a baby velociraptor.

If you are just listening to this and not watching, would you have known it was a baby human? And not a baby monkey? Or a baby reptile?

Yes, frustration is a mood. This the only time this meme has ever made sense.
BarronVonSchnoot they don't mean mood in that sense
I like how they keep referring to them as “the baby human”
Hannah Levi Eaton it’s cute
They experiment heavily with baby aviary and baby canines and baby felines as well. Don’t ask.
That just cracked me up haha I didn’t even really think about it before
Because they are baby humans?
Maybe the researchers were aliens
Thanks for the upload, David! Really interesting stuff!

This video demonstrates that some adults are so stupid that they don't have the reasoning capabilities of a baby. They can't understand that in order to push the economy forward they need to take care of their own bodies first.
There is a reason I am watching this video in my mid 30’s struggling in every aspect of life.

I hope im not stupid and you mean they just won't put the damn carts back like a good human person should.
Bruh they love taking the broken carts to shop with all the broken ones are together and we put the working ones next to the costomers, its funny watching them scratch their heads at the problem, but the real problem is that they never climb into the cart in frustration
Well understandable, since obviously it will take you a while to learn when to use than/then.
I think becoming self-aware was my big fuck up in life. Now I keep having anxiety attacks because I know that I either must die or live forever.
This was so adorable! 🥰
It's so cool how the two 18 month old babies had 2 different ways of thinking.
it takes 18 months for Baby Humans
