I like how there's no evidence that Viktor's mind is messed up from his transformation, or anything. He's just a violent guy who thinks he can do what he wants.
Interesting point. Thinking back on it there's something else, he kept mentioning "perfection of humanity" during that fight which might mean he willingly went through Alchemist experiments before the petrification disease.
Victor sounds like a 90-s wrestler who was given some propaganda lines to shout during a match with whole "Light to the followers of the truth!" thing And even if he seems to genuinely believe them, he is, imo, in universe, is not very good at presenting them. Though I cut him some slack since it's his first match after, you know, coming back from the actual death
