Okay so you know I always comment on how you are the reason I started Chamberlain! I am in my second year whooo! Also I’m ultra proud of you, but I do have a question when do we learn the equipment lines, how to turn, how to inject the medicine, like that part scares me soooo bad! And I love how you work with your heart and go the extra mile you are amazing and it radiates! Great video! More of these!!!! 🖤🖤🖤🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me ❤️ And unfortunately, you really don’t learn a lot of that in nursing school. It’s not just Chamberlain… It’s every nursing school. During fundamentals in the lab, or on simulation day some teachers will go the extra mile and show you how to use the pumps or how to start an IV on a mannequin… But most of those hands-on skills, you will learn either in clinical or your first nursing job. Chamberlain did teach us how to inject medication and draw up medicine from a vile… But nursing school really does not teach as many hands-on skills as I think it should.
Awesome, I'm a new ICU nurse as well I'm not a new grad however all the best on your new journey. I'm also on the day shift.
Loved this video! Currently in nursing school! Thank you for breaking everything down.
Thank you for watching! I’m glad it was helpful!
