Elizabeth you look fantastic today !! Ya look 15 yrs younger. Keep goin girl !!! I enjoy watching you guys so much , no drama just clean conversations.
You were Missed. You Both look so Good. Elizabeth You Rock. So very glad you had some time away, and got to see, and do some fun things. Y'all are a Blessing. ❤️❤️🙏
I appreciated how you demonstrated that even with physical challenges, a person can enjoy travels, if targeted accommodation has been engineered. Hats off to both of you!
Wonderful and very informative broadcast. You need to be very proud of all your hard work and the fruit of your labor. God has blessed you very much ❤️ 🙏 !!!!
I live in Northern Wisconsin. We often go to the Wisconsin-Minnesota side of Lake Superior (think Duluth area). Our favorite place to be! It’s about 2 hours from home. Everyone loves “the North Shore”. Close to Grand Marais by the Canadian border. You are blessed to have each other. I became a widow at 60, and I miss the adventures with my husband. Everyone out there, treasure your partners!
@@cynthiagawin2991 I know what you are saying about missing your husband and traveling. My husband died when I was 43 and we had a 5 year old. He is now 47. He was my youngest of 6 children? Prayers to you. Lou
When my husband was alive we did a backpacking trip to the UP. We hiked 4 miles to a cabin we stayed in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. We went in September and it was beautiful. The colors were magnificent.
I don’t think this trip would have been as successful as it was because of how well you two get along. You both did the planning, separate planning. The result was 6 weeks of can I say bliss? Your smiles say it all how much you enjoyed it all! Some couples cannot get along a weekend camping or a week. It’s a testament how well you get along ❤
I’m a 1st time viewer & enjoyed ur Q&A content video. You guys seem like a lovely Christian couple. I subscribed and look forward to joining you both for future videos. I grew up camping and loved it. Unfortunately, I married a man who just couldn’t learn to enjoy it, but several times alone, I took our 7 young children + my 2 nieces having tons of adventurous fun camping. Im in my mid 60’s now, all our children are grown and gone. I enjoy camping & RV travel through several UA-cam channels. Glad to have stumbled onto ur channel. ❤
A hint for your composting toilet. I use pelleted pine horse bedding from Tractor supply for my cat litter extender. If you dampen it the pellets will fall apart and they smell like pine. And 40 lbs is cheap=$4-5.00 . They are excellent for emergency use in just a 3-5 gal bucket, if your water is frozen! Hope this is helpful! As always your content is very good!
Oh my, I started watching you two 9 yrs ago as "The Tiny House Preppers". Funny the little things I remember. The cute little intro. The coffee mugs hanging in the kitchen and the his and hers, side by side, mismatched recliners! You were the sweetest couple, even during the lean times. So happy that you both are able to travel and enjoy family in VA and the winter sun in Fla. Can't think of two more deserving people.
So wonderful to see you both and hear your voices! I enjoyed this video. I have great memories of your trip out West that you shared with us through the wonderful videos, (and I'll watch them over and over). Never seen such beautiful places before! I'm so so grateful to you both for taking your time to video, edit and share all your videos with us. Being visually impaired, the videos were better for me than going in person to those places. (I'm able to hold my phone so close and pause when I want to.😊) You two are what makes the videos so special. ❤❤ May the Lord continue to bless you both and your families with good health and all that you may need every day and in every way. God bless your generous hearts. Love, Karin
You’ve been talking about going on a RV trip out West for a long time. It was an amazing adventure in a box! I’m glad you got to fulfill your dreams! Thanks for taking us along. ❤
Thank you for the wonderful trip review and answering all the many questions. My husband and I have recently done a fair amount of traveling and each time we do the true highlight of our trip is always going to the local Kingdom Hall to meet our dear brothers and sisters in the faith. They are wonderful and we now have family all over the world. We enjoy the beautiful places we have seen but the beautiful brotherhood we enjoy can never be matched.
Great info. I was living vicariously through you and looked forward to every video you posted of your trip out west! I'll be watching most of them again and hoping to experience a trip like that as well! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Elizabeth, I'm so glad you shared about your dizziness and stroke. When I had a diseased kidney removed. They discovered when I was brought in with severe dizziness that I had had a small stroke in the area of my brain for balance/vertigo. I still have that balance issue much like you mentioned. I never connected the two from then to now. Thank you for sharing that!!🙏🕊
I don't think many of us, if any, mind the longer video😊 However, it's probably more editing for you. Thanks for sharing. On another note, Elizabeth, you seem to be doing much better healthwise. The Florida weather seems to have helped tremendously. And it seems that getting out and traveling has boosted your spirit. And I'm sure Bill's as well. He loves the west. Nature is so healing. 💞
Soo happy to hear about your past adventures and BOTH of you seem to be in good health as well YALL are an Inspiration for sure. We have a class C & a 2 year-old Lab in our later years. We also enjoy taking short trips when possible It’s just so nice getting-away TOGETHER when we close our shop. We are BOTH retired 😂 BUT now have a home business that at times allows us to just escape for a time. Much Love❤ to you BOTH from NC. I enjoy your channel
I really appreciate your video. Doing what you have done is something I have always wanted to do. My husband is not on the same page. So I am enjoying the travels through you. Keep traveling and keep posting thank you.
It is good to hear your reflections on your wonderful trip. All the best for your trip to your winter home. You have obviously worked very hard, blessings in Jesus for the future❤
I love rv traveling! Done it for several years, but getting up in years now and its just not safe driving that many miles. It was so much fun while it lasted!! You both enjoy your travel.
I'm so impressed how you saved up, planned everything so carefully and were able to follow through with your dream. Some people give up and are fearful of taking on such a huge project but the both of you are very adventurous and just live your dream. I'm happy everything worked out and you had such a fabulous time. You both look happy and well ❤.
I really enjoyed watching your 6 week vacation, not so much the videos of the tourist traps, but the ones showing the traveling, the camp sites, and the camping life in general. My husband and I used to do quite a lot of camping in our younger days in a VW pop top. But now we’re quite happy enjoying the comforts of a nice hotel. I saw a video you posted a few days ago about your trip to Florida with your son, between the two hurricanes and you showed the tree that blew down and almost hit your house and the damage the hurricane did to the skirt around the outside of your house. I can’t find that video anymore, but I hope you make a new video showing you repairing your house’s skirt. I like the camping videos best, but also really enjoy your DIY repair videos. God bless you both and please stay safe.❤
Great ladder solution. Much safer for you to avoid that traveling hazard; believe me, you don't want any possible consequences of tripping. Plus, it's a much more finished look.
You both always have great videos and explain so many informative things that even if we don't use the items, we can still learn about them for future reference or to understand what other people use the items for. Thanks for always sharing with us. Always stay safe and enjoy Life !!
I so enjoy your videos. My husband was a homebody with no interest in traveling, and I love it.🤷♀️. We went on short trips, but his first inclination was to check his watch wondering how soon we would be back? Continue traveling, and I will follow you!! Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
Also Mrs. Elizabeth, maybe finding a collapsible cube to store your books and such would help with the storage and could eliminate the need to move them. In a cube box you can put it on its side while stationary and top up while in travel mode.
You both have and are showing signs of rest! Elizabeth seems to have lost weight. Great job.... I'm in your age group and suffer from arthritis, RA, so I get it. But don't stop keep going. Be blessed continually through prayer.
If you go to the UP, consider Duluth, Minnesota and then the north shore of Lake Superior as well. It's pretty touristy there and you can watch ships come in to the port. You can tour the Glensheen mansion, a museum on a ship and an aviation museum. Lots of places to go.
The UP of Michigan is wonderful! Ride bikes around Mackinaw Island . Cross the big bridge, and go to Copper Harbor . Your trips sound like so much fun!
I traveled all over west of the Mississippi, in Mexico and Canada. I would love an adventure box! You did a lovely job. I settled down here in the mountains and haven't traveled much for 11 years, just to visit the gkids.
I enjoy seeing you both! I'm in the process of converting a small van into a no-build rv for trips like that! Will you do some more Thrive Life cooking in the future? Thank you!
This was so informative and interesting to hear all the great time you enjoyed this 6 weeks on the road and was great to travel with you on UA-cam. Your road camper is beautiful.
Dear Bill and Elizabeth, when you were talking about being cautious of your surroundings when parking at night, I thought you might be interested in hearing about what happened to me. I just hope I have not tol you this story before. In 2003 I was forced to live in my van due to finances. In no way was I sight seeing. I was trying to survive in a big city. Finding parking for the night was difficult. The public parks were closed. I didnt want to park in neighborhoods and freak anybody out if they saw a car parked in front of their home they did not recognize. Empty parking lots scared me because they were not discreet enough. Driving out in the country side, felt too isolated and if the cops saw me, they would run my drivers license to find out if I was an okay person and if I had insurance. It was so demeaning. I was not a criminal and I did have car insurance. I was just inexperienced on where to camp. One night when it was late and the traffic had slowed down, I noticed a big long parking lot next to a peaceful stream and trees. The creepy part was that the business that owned the parking lot was a crematorium/funeral home. It was a huge building. It was late enough that no other cars were parked there. Out of exhaustion, I decided to give it a try. I was not there long because at 2 or 3 in the morning, a big old black creepy car drove slowly down the long parking lot close to my car and parked facing my car and sat there like the driver was trying to decide what to do. What else was creepy is that this big boat of a car looked like it had traveled from the 1970s and could have been used in a slasher movie. Since I was a female alone, it was terrifying. I didnt think the car belonged to the funeral home since they would likely have to drive newer cars to make a good impression. I believed I was getting scoped out for a crime. Fortunately I was awake and saw the car, so I quickly drove away before I found out what was about to happen. Let me know what you think of this story. Also, I am glad your home in Florida survived.
And Elizabeth’s extreme past pulmonary disease is completely in remission? I believe getting out and about and financially your situation has changed a lot. Thank God Bill can do all he does! I think subscribers of your channel have seen a medical miracle happen. Financial stress has lessened and that has helped. YT and Thrive Life has really transformed your lives! Thank God everyday for your Virginia family!❤ That is a great son you have!
I just love creativity. So great to be handy. Like that - my last two boys were awesome. Like things like creativity. So much fun. !! Was the highlight of my life - maybe I’ll see you in Destin where my youngest worked - Tow Boat US
This was very enjoyable to watch. I just adore you both!! The RV is PERFECT and am so glad you are enjoying the fruits of your labors! God bless you in Jesus name!
That was really interesting and engaging to watch. We talk about getting an RV, and traveling that way. Up until now, we take giant road trips with the 2 dogs (Florida to Colorado and back home through New Mexico and Dallas this past Summer), and budget to stay in hotels along the way (family in various places, including Colorado). We've RV'd before, in one that required crawling into bed on your knees; that did not work for us. I feel similarly about not sleeping with my spouse, but absolutely see how that arrangement could work. Thank you for sharing.
People always want to compare hoping from hotel to hotel to rv’ing. . Hotels have bugs, cameras, time limits and no food or expensive food. Even if it costs more, I’d rather be in my own bed and bedding, with my own time schedule and my own food.
Patience is a virtue. If I wait long enough all my Q's will be answered. It was just great watching your RV growth. Elizabeth, you look particularly lovely this video. Such a lovely smiie. But I need to post a most WANTED notice : A man just like this one, ( but without the wife!) Must be prepared to travel internationally and can build as well as Bill can. 🙏😄
Dear Bill and Elizabeth there is a woman that perhaps you may contact. Her channel is called Lulu's Way. She has a home base and also travels in her van/camper and she has been camping at all of these beaches in Texas that you can camp on for free. Also, if you do make it to Michigan, camping at State Forest Campgrounds is much less expensive and more secluded than state parks. Enjoyed you sharing your camper build and pray for your protection on your travels.
Put an extension rod on that top shelf to hold things in. Also you can put a net that will extend across the front! Nope do t drink from your trailer, or attach a good filtration system first
I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Florida for the warmth several years ago. You mentioned the UP several times. That’s a different world than down state. If you haven’t been to Mackinac Island that is a trip you would enjoy. Lou
After working in hotels, I'd rather throw a mattress in the back of a van than stay in one. So, even if the costs were comparable or even slightly more expensive, I'd choose your method. Finding hotels, the chaos that can happen at check in, walking through long hallways and not being able to see your vehicle at night, how noisy the hallway and neighboring rooms can be. And don't even get me started with what goes on in hotel rooms. Plus, dragging suitcases, packing and unpacking etc.
Very, very nice video. All questions were interesting and very well answered by you both. Glad you enjoyed the trip out west. Salutes!!👋 Virginia is for lovers!! ❤🙏🙏
Thank you for this, very informative!!! I love the way you have laid out your box truck, it's kind of my "Platonic ideal" of an RV now 😆. Very eye opening about internet access, I'll be curious about what you think about Starlink or whatever you choose as your internet solution.
I am like Bill, I grew up in MI and have been all over the UP. so no biggie to me. US 2 is a beautiful drive across. Have driven that many time cuz hubs is from northern WI. It is sooooo lovely in the summer to go up there. (live in hot humid MO now.) The number of shipwrecks in the Great Lakes is astounding.
I am thinking about the Boxio for prepping. I wonder if you can brace horizontally across the floor above the table space. It seems you have a little bit of room. If you don't take the awning, because its a pain to set up, you will have more space there. Love all the puzzles you're solving. FYI: Glacier has become more popular. Very beautiful. But try to go pre-season if possible. Last time we were there it was so busy that stopping at some of the parking lots was impossible. And they are large parking lots. I love that you are enjoying my stomping grounds. We are heading out for a weekender soon and we enjoy the Indian ruins of the southwest. You may want to add them to you bucket list to explore when you are traveling the west. Caution: Don't do the northwest during the winter months. Maybe someday I will get further east than Ohio and Kentucky. Travel and exploring seems to open up our appreciation for what God has created for us everywhere on this earth. We do go to church while we travel when it is possible. It is great to share in the gospel with others of our faith. For people who wonder about travel expences. Planning is key. We travel by SUV and stay a lot in KOA type cabins we take most of our food. And we spend less on gas. So the exchange is in that cost. I have done camping in tents but it's now in the past as I have aged. We have even had a microwave in the last trip with our grandsons and pre cooked many things to feed us while on our trip. It was great. We always treat ourselves to a few meals. It's a vacation! Happy trails!
Go to Acadia off season June or early Oct. Head to Nova Scotia you can camp at gorgeous Inverness Beach. We've traveled many places on this planet I must say Nova Scotia had the friendliest people the sites were gorgeous. We are in Maine enter camp near bar harbor. I'm wondering if you have headroom above the table storage to drill out into your bench frame for 3/8 rebar strips for strength even 1/4 inch will probably be strong enough.
Well Bill you can have Arizona lol born and raised here and so tired of the heat!! In a couple of years I’m moving to Idaho with my kids. I’m getting a van and traveling to good friends and family in Indiana.
you guys are awesome, I want to do the same thing travel to places to ride our e bikes/trikes, I have addmotor too like yours and I love love love it. my knee is unreliable sometimes I can hike pretty good and other times it acts up and I cant hike but I can ride anytime. i want a campervan or small rv like yours would work well. but my hubby says he will retire by summer next year. he is working on saving as much money as he can before he gives up the good job he has. my hubby is a truck driver too, he had a bad accident several years ago on a icy road and crashed and he used to drive down 80 in pa, towards williamsport and he said he was always seeing trucks on the side of the road all the time during winter so he got another route towards indiana instead we are in ohio. that accident scared him I guess some guys need to have something happen tot hem to wake up to dangers despite to see others having problems again and again.
Lately I been concerned with wild animals, but then i remembered JOB 5:23 For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you. . And as much as I take safety precautions and follow safety protocol. I have never relied on myself for my protection. It has always come from my Lord. Thank you for another wonderful video I was excited to see it was over an hour-long and it went by way too quick. Just like watching an old time movie were the story line is so good. They don't have to move to another scene. Till next time, God bless.
Wild animals are not a problem. For the most part they are more afraid of you than you are of them. They tend to stay away from people whenever possible.
We actually talked about this in our video that we posted during Milton. Bill is still very good at all forms of construction, but we are approaching 70, and he’s only able to work hard for a short while and then he has to rest a lot. It doesn’t seem that way in the videos because we don’t show all the resting time. We’re afraid we would really be in the way.
Elizabeth you look fantastic today !! Ya look 15 yrs younger. Keep goin girl !!! I enjoy watching you guys so much , no drama just clean conversations.

Agreed Elizabeth looks healthier with every video

Staying to the end. Loved it
Looks wonderful
I really like your truck.
Thanks? (So do we 😉)
I stay at Cracker Barrels all the time by myself in my class C, also named Harvey. I love them and so far I have felt safe.
Upper Penninsula in the fall, beautiful canopies of colorful trees. We just did the Tunnel of Trees in the "upper" lower this past weekend.
The large bed wedge pillow makes for a GREAT reclining substitute.

That would be disconcerting! 😳
I have to admit things feel very differently for me when I’m alone than when I’m with Bill.
Hello Bill & Elizabeth,it is always a joy to watch each video.Take care & have a great week!❤
Yes enjoyed this video...thanks you two ! ♥️🤠
The RV design is nicely done and cozy!
We always loved camping at the National Seashore in southern Outer Banks. Camping was inexpensive, but wild and beautiful.
Sounds wonderful!
Really appreciate your feedback.❤ GREECE ❤.
It really has been miraculous. The pulmonologist was happily surprised. 😊
I would love to rv at Branson! So convenient!
I so enjoyed your question and answer video. I love all your videos and look forward to your next one. Love and prayers. Lou
People always want to compare hoping from hotel to hotel to rv’ing. . Hotels have bugs, cameras, time limits and no food or expensive food. Even if it costs more, I’d rather be in my own bed and bedding, with my own time schedule and my own food.
Elizabeth, you look so pretty!!!!
Thank you 😊❤️
Patience is a virtue. 🙏😄
😄❤️
Hey you all good to see you
Put an extension rod on that top shelf to hold things in. Also you can put a net that will extend across the front!
Thank you. We have apps that show us most of the inexpensive and free boondocking spots in the country. 😊
Salutes!!👋
Virginia is for lovers!!
(live in hot humid MO now.)
The number of shipwrecks in the Great Lakes is astounding.
I helped a friend that went to UP and had never been there to plan things to see/where to go. 😊
We would ONLY go to ARIZONA in the winter. Same with Florida- winter only. In the summer we head north.
The UP is a wonderland! I spend my summers up there not far from Lake Superior.
you guys are awesome, I want to do the same thing travel to places to ride our e bikes/trikes, I have addmotor too like yours and I love love love it. my knee is unreliable sometimes I can hike pretty good and other times it acts up and I cant hike but I can ride anytime. i want a campervan or small rv like yours would work well. but my hubby says he will retire by summer next year. he is working on saving as much money as he can before he gives up the good job he has. my hubby is a truck driver too, he had a bad accident several years ago on a icy road and crashed and he used to drive down 80 in pa, towards williamsport and he said he was always seeing trucks on the side of the road all the time during winter so he got another route towards indiana instead we are in ohio. that accident scared him I guess some guys need to have something happen tot hem to wake up to dangers despite to see others having problems again and again.
Lately I been concerned with wild animals, but then i remembered JOB 5:23
For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you.
Enjoyed your video.
Great video!
💕 Love your videos ~ thank you for sharing with us! 🙏🌹
Come to Oregon a campers paradise....
Hopefully next summer
Geee, y’all could travel into some of the areas that areas affected by Hellene and share some of your talents for building there.
