Shockingly this wacky 2D submarine game became an amazing part of this channel and after finishing the campaign I got super stoked to try and make something cool for it. “Railgun ready in all respects, Captain.” Is just such a SOLID delivery to preface that nuclear cinematic. The semi-serious attitude of this video while fighting eldritch horrors was sooo satisfying to watch. Phenomenal.
I never thought I'd see the day when ancient gods would face off against the most unhinged group of submariners, and yet here we are. As it turns out, a clown with a criminal record, dangerously insane medical officers, sociopathic security officers, desperate crewmen, a psychotic captain and one Jay Raptor (as the cameraman) are a worthy opponent for eldritch beings of powers unknowable.
8:19 I wish that cinematic was actually in the game because it's such a great way to round out the fight. (What style would you call it?) This game is the definition of 'the devil makes work for idle hands.' If everything's going great the clown will push the button but if everything is already going terrible the cloud will not have time to make the button.
In my experience, the crew clown either ends up being the most terrifyingly competent person on the sub who singlehandedly prevents the sub from tipping over the edge into disaster... Or they're the one pushing the sub there in the first place XD And holy fuck the ending "cinematic" was phenomenal! "Railgun ready in all respects, captain" just sounds so cool!

The implication of this upon learning what it means is flooring me. Because this implies that In Canon it wasn't intentional that they launched all four vessels, and had to because of a catastrophic malfunction, meaning that they only survived because everything else leading up to that went as horribly wrong as it could. Meaning that it literally was like a karmic balance, of all of these horrible things one after another and then finally at the last possible second it all Cascades into causing everything to happen to save them and stop this thing and that's awesome.
Much as we're here for *incomprehensible screaming from Ignis* video shitposting, the cinematic portions of the final boss starting at 7:15 and the end made me crave even more narrative and role-play

Next to the usual humour I expected there were many epic fights and the edit for the "final solution" was god tier with the music, pacing and everything! It was a joy to watch

Man for some reason I find myself rewatching this video so often. Something about its pacing with the (no offense) looney toons crew actually taking on the foul beasts of the deep. Then come across an unkown world with unkown horros its just so satisfying! Also the sprinkled in humour also helps. Even with all the utter hilarious chaos going on, these guys did it! They are heroes, all of them! These guys survived through hell and managed to come out on top. Congratulations to them.
