Again, I'm going to suggest the same thing I did in the last vid, even though I don't think you take requests. Ignis playing as the FBI/UIU in Three Portands. I like to imagine that Ignis are a chaotic group of inter-dimensional contract workers that change sides depending on who gives the best offers. The combine probably promised to give 'em a years supply of ice cream for their services.
I was thinking the same thing but instead of ice cream it's just a single waffle house coupon. Which might not sound like much but given how many times they are deployed in the 41st millennium means the imperium keeps cashing in on ancient terran artifacts.
I love that ingis is are amoral immortal mercenaries that work for everyone just deal with because who doesn’t want immortal soldiers no matter how incompetent they are.
Incompatince doesn't matter if they can't die, at some point they'll just crush the enemy with the weight of their corpses

This reminds me of the times in games where the campaign has a split "timeline" placement where you can play as the canon heroes side then you can play the opposite side and see how it would of end on that side.

Sorta on the right track. I was referring to games that had a secret unlockable Campaign that allows you to see through the villain's point of view and to carry them to victory instead.

One was Command and Conquer. The main one I remember did against canon was Lord of the Rings Conquest, an old early 2000s era game on ps3/Xbox 360 where it allowed you to as Sauron to trounce the Hobbit home looking for Frodo after he kept the Ring instead of tossing it into the Lava. Another notable scene was burning what is known as the Light Tree or whatever it was called at the castle and kicked Gandalf's ass as an Orc.

Ya know....since the Combine is interdimensional, they would make a great faction to put against other mods.
Like say having them show up in the 40k universe and then noping out.
Having them try to invade the Starship Troopers universe.
Or the Mass Effect universe (yes I'm fairly sure there is a Mass Effect mod) and having them go up against the Earth Alliance forces...before Reapers show up.
JMax made a Mass effect mod and it's quite good in my opinion.
Tbh could have them go against the Turian Hierarchy if there's models for those, rather than the Systems Alliance

So hear me out
Ignis are somehow capable of being in the alternative Rome timeline, while also fighting as both factions in the same battle but in two separate timelines.
They also cap off every single operation by going berserk and executing each other on the spot.
They also seemingly never run out of soldiers and despite the fact that Tails has died so many times that his name being called out in despair has become a meme, he always comes back.
I think Ignis soldiers just timeline hop whenever they're killed, that's why at the end of a mission they just start killing each other, it's the quickest way to move on to the next war in the next timeline.
You know what, adding to this we even see that some of the combine soldiers of Ignis still have PTSD from the combine attack helicopters are they instinctively feel the urge to try and shoot them down from when they were resistance fighters.
the random Beast in Black at 4:37 really threw me off for a second.
The immediate chaos that follows the 'Mission Complete' pop-up never gets old
This has to to be the most unhinged operations up to date for Ignis Corps. I loved every second of it. To which... I'm sure the next Arma operations will be just as unhinged!
The entire Ignis Corps Half Life timeline here makes se sense. They blew up City 19 in the past, got sent forward to after the destruction, became Combine, and now are trying to restore order... in the city they blew up.
And 3 minutes in, not even when they got into action, things already went wrong with desyncing vehicles, oxygen tanks blowing up, and losing half the containment force, and they didn't even get into conbat. Just like how Ignis Corps shenanigans should be.
the rebel "resist" bit had me pause the video and think "no, it cant be". good taste in music :)
Trust Ignis Corp to play both sides of a conflict, like the equivalent of Shirts Vs Skins. I imagine Ignis Logistics pretty much said "Ok! Half-time! Everyone swap sides!"

I've got to admit, it is surprising how much new music I discover through Jay's videos. Like, I could understand if it's like once or twice, simply due to some of the videos where he really pull out all the stops, but no, even the meme bits have led me to find music I enjoy.
