The developer was kind enough to reach out and talk about their game with us back in June and I’m only now getting around to putting a video together for it lol. It’s obviously pretty early Alpha but it was still a treat to play. With the gunplay alone I’m really looking forward to where this ends up going and would love to revisit it down the line!
I think I’m a. Little early 😅😂
Even for early alpha that game looks downright amazing.
I was the guy that joined your lobby some time back I was called Epsilon 11 not going to lie it was funny
You left Dave's family behind D:
How big is you video backlog?
The SCP foundation doesn't poorly maintain their nukes, they use only the highest quality safety screwdrivers to keep the two hemispheres apart.
You forgot the #1 rule of SCP safety standards: If it cant open a locked drawer, its contained. And those nukes cant open drawers.
Is this a Demon core reference? XD
@@natpat6394yes it is
Thus comment reminds me of that us silo accident with the wrench
“Watch this pro gamer move.” -Dr. Bright
"It was man who was made in God's image, not you, creature" is a really good line
That is a very raw line.
UNF*ABSOLUTELY GREAT LINE.*
Yeah I had to pause to laugh at that one.
This is a line I can imagine a xenophobic human in the far future saying to an alien
I'm using that for my Xenophobic Human Stellaris playthrough (number 835702365)
It was Toten. He was the traitor. He left me to die alone in the server room.
"Poorly Maintained Nukes"
My favorite thing to hear when anything about SCP comes it.
it takes one sacrifice to activate a MOAB, a infant will suffice
Glad to see bird Dispatch is still doing well after losing so many of his squads.
After googling SCP-120, I don't think he's doing well anymore...
Bird Dispatch is,,,, _okay_
Every time SCP 5K is brought up, I will continue to reference my favorite bit from it, where one of the surviving groups (Broken God) manages to get the internet back online and the Evil Foundation's response is to flood it with memes so toxic they cause your brain to literally vanish. (I'm paraphrasing, but you get the idea)
what?
@@kiankier7330when the internet comes back online during 5k, the foundation floods it with memetic kill hazards and pics of 096
Imagine if they just started flooding it with LTG memes
The 5000 foundation isn't evil
@@tinywhale3954 No, they aren't. The Foundation is usually painted in a good, so-so heroic light, so when 5000 turns up, it comes up as a "What the Hell, Hero?"
For those wondering what the red garbled text covered in static at 1:00 is, it reads "YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE. YOU WILL BE FLAYED ALIVE."
Nothing like fighting against horrors beyond my imagination.
I like when the GOC gets mentioned anywhere. It’s often just contain the SCPs etc, in most games and videos. Having a GOC perspective is really cool.
I LOVE THE GOC!!!!
I love throwing teleporting chairs that teleport right behind you when you want to sit down into a wood chipper turning them into angry woodchips that teleport inside of peoples lungs!
@@themagicnerf But peanut can't snap your neck if you broke both of his arms off.
Shy Guy can't hurt anyone if you look away before reducing him to a pile of steaming meat.
The Magical Witch who can do anything can't do shit if we snipe her from 2 miles out.
Here Were Dragons but it ain't sad, cuz we did it on purpose, y'get me?
@@benjaminhartsock3281the story of the chair proves everything you said wrong, either leave the anomaly alone, or make sure not a single quark of it is left remaing
@@iago110 There are a massive number of anomalies which could be permanently neutralized by something on the level of a S.W.A.T team, but the Foundation doesn't want to risk the ramifications.
But damn the ramifications, I say kill 'em all.
The game reminds me of L4D2, it’s the way the creatures runs towards them, the way they are put down, and that there are 4 playable people.
For the curious: SCP-120 is a kiddie pool that is a portal to specific fixed location.
Probably my favorite part of this game is that you play as UNGOC operatives. So many of these games are focused on the Foundation and maybe the Chaos Insurgency. So it's nice to have some variety and explore some other parts of the world.
Edit: As some have pointed out, the patchs are of the UIU. Seems a little strange to send a branch of the FBI to infiltrate a facility belonging to a group that has declared their intent to wipe out the human race. However the spirit of my point still stands.
After all, what better way to deal with SCP than to kill them where they stand, no more SCP, no more horrors beyond comprehension!
Horrors beyond my comprehension, but not my bullets
Yeah, but its weird. None of the characters have a GOC patch, but they have UIU patches. Maybe model was already done for another level? Who knows. I just hope we get a Russian incident with a revitalized GRU-P headed up by formers
@@Tman2bard maybe GRU-P will raid Area-610?
They aren't the GOC anymore you are now the UIU. And the game now takes place in scp 5000s story or a parallel story similar to 5000.
Glad to see the UIU getting some love in a game
even if they are technically GOC because of the whole 5000 event.
Totally, they remind me a ton of the FBI in X-Files
My only question is how the UIU was able to afford gas mask but not be able to enter with at least a rifle lol
I should really go watch the X-files
woo another rubix vid
@@Nabie2it's the FBI they don't equip the people who actually need it.
I love that people are actually playing this game a lot now, it deserves it!
Quail being "Bird Dispatch" is now my favorite cameo clip.
I love the scp foudation lore, its sometimes the most random shit in the world like "while passing through sector 12, do not aim your gun a any foundation personal, it will shoot it self"
"Do not aproach the meat ball after the offering has been made"
"If you see a painting, do not make eye contact"
There is a large difference between watching Drewski's video of 5K and Rubix's
I love it
A very huge, tactical difference for that matter. And both of them are different from Rimmy's video.
@@dannyengineer9862 it's not two ends of a spectrum, it's three corners of a spectrum!
I love that Quail is in Mission Control.
I hope to God I never have to hear "Earth is lost" followed by the most horrifying possible thing that Jay could say:
*howdy!*
He is the eldritch god.
@@tarektechmarine8209 I'd say more of a harbinger spirit. He appears when a conflict is about to go horribly horribly wrong for whatever side he appears to😂
Don't worry I found it later
@@dr.jackbright9297 oh thank god Dr Bright
Now I can only think of a snatch-n-grab game mode from this. three or four teams of 4, different factions, like the GOC, Serpents Hand, etc. on a randomly generated layout of rooms and hallways, trying to get x amount of intel before extraction. Obviously among the chaos of random SCP's and madness.
3:20 That is a galaxy brain move. Well played.
RubixRaptor provides the daily amount of craziness that my brain needs
Agreed
Setting your FOV to 180 to counter peanut is such a fucking galaxy brain move XD
3:50 Sounds almost like someone in the Imperial Guard...
I bought and played this back when it was called SCP:Pandemic. Nice to see that they've added more and more to Area 12
Bird Dispatch may be one of my favorite Ignis running gags, I love him.
I just saw Operator Drewski's video on this, and the game is great! I cannot wait to see how chaotic and insane you make this experience with SCP-5000 in comparison to his team's precision and professionalism.
precision and professionalism 😂
1:03 "You will not survive. You will be flayed alive."
Yeah sounds about right
4:10 The Adeptus Astartes would be proud!
I love the fact that toten was either dead or dying the entire time.
Poor guy
Setting your FOV to 180 to watch peanut at all times is the most this group thing I've ever heard
Rubix playing as the GOC in a poorly maintained facility with both actual nukes and terrifying anomalies. Yeah, this is never going to be a bad idea.
I love that there's finally a game that uses cognitohazards
Glad to see that 173 is still terrifying even in a tacticle shooter.
Heh heh 'tacticle'
Def gonna let this game cook a little longer, looks pretty good
Love that bird dispatch is back and still played by a bird. Great stuff 😂
4:20 Walrus got the Buck Compton special.
I've played this game ever since it came out, tbh I'm happy to see the way its progressed
SCP 120 is apparently a children's pool with teleportation abilities, but only for a specific weight. 13 predetermined locations of travel.
Bird on the radio. 1:17
3:18 That sent me laughing so hard I saw nerves firing in my closed eyes.
1:23 I love how you can hear his mic cut out from how loud he shouted
I love that they added a relatively niche 7000's SCP considering most of the popular SCPs are from the first few series
Do you mean 7528? It was written for the game.
Horrors beyond my comprehension? They can comprehend these *BULLETS.*
love seeing the foundation deploying task force "Altar Boys" again, all these iconic lines getting spouted left and right
I'm actually impressed an Ignis Op was successful!
In all seriousness, so glaf to see more of big channels covering this awesome game. So much cool stuff even at this point in early access!
Nothing like jay playing a game to make me want to play it with my own hooligans
Honestly the 3 shots at the end was very indicative of the true SCP experience.
It's been a long time since I have seen SCP videogames!!! Thanks!!!
Love this game, literally the only game I don't regret pre-ordering.
That design on the digital threat was really damn neat. The fidelity on all of this was way up form what I had been expecting over all.
For my money 6:45 is one of the top 3 funniest things spoken in any rubix video.
My Pareidolia kicked in at 5:18 and nearly burst out laughing looking at the yellow machine
This is quite interesting plus a FPS SCP game is a fun idea
Great use of Andrew Hulshult's remaster of the E1M1 track!
Hoesntly both this game and this channel deserve so much more recognition!
man the intro is just amazing and well edited.
Another SCP 5000 video. This was a Excellent video
It's been a little quiet this month, so I'm kinda expecting to turn on my TV one afternoon just to see the SCP Foundation warning followed by Rubix's 'Howdy!'
Oh boy, I sure do love when my favorite UA-camr mistakes the UIU (FBI) with GOC (UN)
I've been playing this game, recently, for an early access game. This is straight fire. I'm glad to see people like Rubix give it some attention, also side note, the achievement "are you not entertained?" Takes about 1h and 30 mins as a duo, but isn't hard, just tedious so far
dude that took me like 3 because of lag but i did it sadly rubix didnt save bob and his family
@louisianaman2025 it's Dave, lol, but yes, finding daves family is really funny. Also, my friend and I have high-end p.cs, and we also had lag. Optimisation is needed but still pretty dope so far
@@MxMips74 damn it i forgot so i just guessed but i did do it with like 8 people on the public servers
I remember seeing the clip of this video being shared awhile back on your twitter and have been awaiting the episode that it was for- it has been very well worth it 😂
EYYYY!!! Glad to see you covering this
Loved the analog horror touch Rubix, also your vids are always great
I love the quail bird cuts, there beautiful works of art.
CONK! BEPIS!!!
I have never seen someone so happy over funny Coke and pepsi names ever and I approve of it.
Even more since these machines are in a facility full of eldritch horrors and likely the contents of their drinks should not be ingested.
I've been sporadically following this game after watching a video about it on JackFrag's channel a couple months ago, good to see Jay making a video on it because it definitely seems right up his alley
Thank you jay for giving me the context behind this game
Hope to see more of this and Ignis’s shenanigans!
its nice to see the GOC and UIU getting some attention. Game looks fantastic.
Although it would really be amazing to see one of the SCP games to include some sort of sarkic anomalies. Thats where the real scary body horror comes from.
Always a pleasure to see a notification with your name on it 👍
I love the happy birthday grunt headshot sound effect
Here we are again.. facing down eldritch horrors and somehow being more eldritch.
The content is immaculate. My only wish is for longer videos
Love the return of Bird Dispatch
I’ve been waiting for ignis to play this 😂. Definitely didn’t disappoint
The disturbed concern in the voice of "Uh oh.." followed by a butt-puckered panic voice of "8 minutes!?"
man i love the sound of gunfire in the morning
thanks for the chaos filled Birthday present today, Jay.
Bird dispatch is back?Best video ever!
Ah a normal day in Greater Ohio for the Ignis resistance... Truly the best way to spend 10 minutes of my day...
I love how when ever quail with you guys you have him as the actually quail bird in your videos XD
Rubix x scp= unlimited chaotic fun
I like the immediate reference to SWAT 4 and the like. "TOC" lol.
Rip Dave’s family, they were never found
I gotta check this game out NOW.
SCP-5000 is definitely an interesting concept to explore as a game!
Rubixraptor: we are all gonna die :D
Also rubixraptor survivng horrors beyond comprehnsion
"This calls or the FAL!"
Hell yeah Right Arm of the Free World strikes again.
Great video
this looks pretty awesome
0:12 Raptor what did you touch this time?
8:20 RAPTOR WHAT DID YOU TOUCH THIS TIME??!
I’ll NEVER get over Lego yoda sounds
Rubix post is like crack for me I dropped what I was doing and clicked
I remember that SCP… SCP-1940, Class: Keter, Callsign: JL, Fullname: John Lennon, Status: Deceased
Came due to a funny clip I was shown from a blue bird, I will now subscribe because I like the content.
Hell yes! New fucking upload let’s fucking GO!

"COMMAND THEY'RE IN THE WALLS I REPEAT THEY ARE IN THE WALLS"
6:54 ahh yes the revolver, the ultimate weapon in horde minimization..
I love the grunts birthday party reference
