    Unreal! Thanks Tony. This worked (eventually). I tried a number of times using different types of felt / foam tapes. But still was getting the vibration at low revs. Realized eventually that one of the corner clips had bent out of place by a couple of millimeters so wasn’t clicking in properly. Gently pushed the clip outwards and tried one more time with tape similar to this video and noise was finally gone! Very happy

    Hello Tony; Excellent videos! Could you make a video about the replacement of the Clima temperature sensor on the mirror? I think it is a common problem that I have and the garage told me that I have to replace the whole mirror...

      Hi Steas. Thanks for watching. Really appreciate it. I’ll add it to the growing list of videos... I don’t have a problem with mine, but I should be able to do something to at least show how it comes apart and goes back together. Might be a while, but I’ll see what I can do. All the best.

    I was wondering, how this cover is removed, since my is also rattling from time to time. Will give it a go. Also what I like is to put some fabric tape (used to insulate wiring looms) on the edge points where plastic touches other plastic/leather/vinyl, etc. Had quite good success with it on the plastic body of the window steering panel and decorative trims, where it did remove much of the squeeking, etc.

    • @vialettotony

      Hi Michal. Applying the tape was not a problem at all. It worked really well and is still keeping it quiet. Hope it helps. All the best.

    Thanks Tony! Just picked up my Guiletta a couple weeks ago and was experiencing the rattling noise. This video helped fix it. 👍
    My Alfa makes a beeping noise when you unlock and lock it, any way to stop the beeping noises?

    • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Connor. Congratulations on your new car 😀. The beeping is standard on all Giulietta, and even Mito’s I believe. You’ll soon start to hear other peoples 😉. The only way of turning it off is by changing the vehicle settings to Belgian I think it is. Most new owners worry what their neighbours will say, but I’ve never heard of anyone getting complaints in nearly 9 years of ownership.
      Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and subscribing if you have. Really appreciate it 👍

    • @franciscgedeon9237
      @franciscgedeon9237 2 роки тому +1

      To answer the beeping question, the only way to get rid of it is using a diagnostics tool (MES for example, and the yellow cable adapter) to reprogam the alarm to a different county - usually Netherlands works to permit silent locking of the doors. For this you need to contact the dealer and ask for the alarm security code, if you find a nice person they'll do it over the phone, sometimes they ask for 30 quid fee and proof that you own the car (V5 would do), sometimes they don't. Most dealers refuse to do the job themselves, but you never know. Once you get hold of the security code, it's easy peasy with the software. Caveats: This is NOT the security code for the car key fobs that you'd need to program/cut new keys, NOR is it the radio unit security code, dealers will confuse them, the Alfa dealer software will pop the right alarm code base on the car VIN, you just need to know what you're asking for and stick to it. Also this won't change the way your alarm behaves, you still get the theft protection, it's just the annoying door beeps that go away, so no need to go talk to the insurance provider. Hope it helps.

    Thank you Tony, really interesting. If I may I'd like to ask why the music behind your voice? I'm a really deaf old sod and the music makes it hard to hear you.

    • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Andrew. Thank you for watching. Really appreciate it. I always add music to lift the videos otherwise they can seem a bit slow and dull. The audio levels can be a challenge though as when I edit the videos the music doesn’t seem that loud to the point it can hardly be heard, but then when it’s played back through as different device it seems louder. I’ve played with it a bit on different videos making some quieter/louder. Ideally I’d like to get some editing software that allows me to change the levels in each scene, but as ever there’s costs associated with that. I really enjoy making these videos, but it’s quite expensive with parts and tools and I’m yet to earn a single penny from it 🙄. Fingers crossed I’ll find a work around one day.
      Thank again, stay healthy and enjoy the rest of the videos. 👍

      @@vialettotony hey Tony thank you for replying. The music thing is only a frustration since I lost my hearing acuity. I truly enjoy ur videos and I don't even own a car. I love Alfa's and my last car was a mito. I enjoyed it but it had the twin clutch and I want a manual next car. I live in outback Australia and Alfa's here have a terrible reliability reputation. My mito was great no problems. I'm seriously thinking of a guiletta, 1.4turbo. The clover leaf is very exy here. I'm only looking at secondhand cars. Being retired I have no idea how you presenter's get money out of your videos, I'm assuming it's to do with numbers. You make all the videos so interesting and achievable. Thank you and I wish you well.

I find the Giulietta very easy to work on to be fair. Really appreciate your time watching and commenting. Thank you again. All the best. 👍
