Brandi I loved everything!! I especially loved the book. You have to do be the most rounded channel I follow. You demonstrate many different techniques. If there is something that I know I won't do I still take the knowledge and use it in a way that can benefit me. Like your table saw....I don't have one but I pay attention in the event I do get one. I learn so much from you.

Loved the shelf! I was wondering, have you ever decoupaged using the paper doilies that have been tea stained? I'm going to try it, but I wondered if you had any tips
I don't tea stain. I have a trick I have shared a few times in the mod podge hack videos where I mix colors to create a fo stained look with mod podge and when things dry it looks like stain. I hope that helps
Just an fyi. I’ve been using paint for stain like that for eons. Ok, maybe not eons. I digress. If you wet the wood first it will allow the stain to absorb a little deeper so it’s not just sitting on top. But also it won’t leave those lines and the paints will blend in better. Hope this makes sense and helps.

Balsa wood bleeds. I always have to do a thin layer of mod podge over the stencil. Or, paint it the color of my back ground let it dry then stencil for it to seal in the stencil prior to coloring it! I hope that helps!
