Nice! (and in great condition). Yes, Atlantis really fills in the void with their re-releases. If they could find the old Aurora naval kits (like the ones acquired by Monogram), I'd probably pass out from joy.
I have either a 1970 or 1972 Revell catalog, and you'll see where I circled some kits. I started building in the mid 1960's and don't ever recall seeing Revell cement or paints. Glue was strictly Testors and paints available were Testors and Pactra.
Seems like all the early kit makers had their own line of paints and cement. I wonder if they were all rebranded Testors since the bottles and tubes all looked the same.
The Air Power gift set didn't include the B-58. Had the F-100, F-101, F-102, B-57 & B-57. All their gift sets are very pricey these days. Thanks for the videos.
The Sherman was 1/32 or 1/35 depending on you read. All the other Revell Armor/ military range in the series at the time were 1/40. Why they decided to up the size isn't well known. Probably because they thought thought bigger is better. All their kits in this time frame were nice kits. Plus the figures were very well molded.
@@garyleblanc2170 This particular one came from a model kit collector show a few weeks ago. I have a few more that will be featured in the weeks to come
Great video. I've been building for 60+ years and it was fun to see the old Revell catalog ! Best part was the prices ! Good old days for sure !
Glad you enjoyed it
Love the old catalogs . I still dream of owning some of those kits .Thank you for the video !!
@@scottledbetter7212 Fortunately most of the aircraft are still recently available in one way or another.

Very cool! I still have several model kit catalogs from the late 70s. Wish I still had my Revell “Get It Together” quarterly booklets.
@@JMdfcv I will have to keep an eye oit for those.

@@farkinarkin5099 You can also buy the decals directly from Atlantis if your originals are shot.
Wow, this was a joy to see!! 👏👏👏👏
