Yes! It’s crazy how fast time flies, especially when you have time away from people. I’m not a parent myself but I definitely feel like that for children I’ve taken care of and many family members through these years. It makes me feel very grateful for the time I get/have with them ❤ thank you so much for sharing 🙏🏽 and hope you all are doing well and still doing music 🤘🏽
the irony of me running into this video. I used to watch your singing videos with your daughter when I was a teenager and now I’m in my mid 20’s. today I heard the song “be my baby” by the Ronettes which is what made me remember and look up your channel after so many years. Back then my grandma was still alive and our family was much closer and less divided than they are now. time is bittersweet truly and I see you’re experiencing the feeling too. I notice my parents aging as well, but it is a blessing to get to watch them grow older, and I’m sure your kids think the same of you. It’s good to run into your channel after so many years ❤
Yes, I can relate. My kids are grown up now and out of the house. I see them on face time, and last year my oldest boy came to visit with his fiancée. All you can do is let them go and hope you did the best you could raising them to face the challenges they will face in this world.
Time sure does go by fast , I remember watching you guys ever since the girls were little and Alexa is driving now that’s so crazy to think about bc I’m 19 and I still don’t drive . I work currently but I’ve been having head aches back to back for the past 3 days and I don’t know why
From 12 to 18 is such a fast growth time for them. My son Jacob, who is about to turn 17, was just a little guy who sat on my lap and fished with me 4 years ago, and now he is an inch taller than I, and growing into adulthood so fast. He has friends that he can ride off with, and our time just hanging out is short because of it, but I cherish every bit of it. Soon he will get a career and a family of his own and his time as my shadow will be gone. I will miss it dearly but will be so proud to watch him spread his wings and fly. Also, I got to ask, Did Alexia ever learn to whistle? LOL, I just came back to this channel to see the "Home" cover video. As a father, it touched me very deeply and I often think of it because of your very dilemma. So i thought i would see what you all are up to these days.
