What a great trail! Will add that to my list to get out and do. One word of warning though I've had a major pucker moment on a very loose trail very similar to that one. I came up against a small ledge or rock (nothing major). It was enough to stop me moving forward but enough rearward momentum from the springs rebounding to start me sliding backwards down the track, brakes fully locked up, all I could do was keep it straight until we were at the bottom again. Thank God no one was behind me, it all happened so fast I doubt they could have scrambled out of the way in time on the loose trail. Safety first no camera shot is worth running over the top of your mate.
Very sound advice We had a backwards at 40ks moment the in the 80 series a few weeks ago Totally out of control apart from some eye balls on stalks steering I warned the driver it might/would happen, he went anyway. 20 ft from the top, we stopped, then it was find reverse in a split second and hope for the best
Yeah good point. Backwards slide is a horrible feeling. There was definitely some backwards sliding once the cars were forced to stop on that climb. Majority of the time cameras were off to the side, particularly when momentum stopped. The other thing we need to be weary of is flying rocks from the roost!
Had the luxury of watching what the other guys did. We use a combination. Google Maps Offline is awesome for nav, save a route prior to departure and then if you save that route you can load it up offline. Sus that out in your google maps app. Then I also use Avenza Maps app and download free Topo Maps from maps.six.nsw.gov.au/etopo.html
After the fires, the state forestry wants rootin if they ever let the trails get this bad again ,, FFS the fire engines where expected to get up these damn roads
It's pretty remote in there, the little landcruieer trucks would get in there, but maybe only useful for a back burning operation or something like that. Would be deadly in there during a fire.
First again, what the. My new fav channel Thanks heaps guys Just a note to others, hit the "Bell" near the Sub button, i've been missing videos as YT hasn't been adding them in my Sub List EDIT: Far out, Ledbrooks on 31's... and i've seen where he goes! Just goes to show

Love seeing all the quality local area content and spots lads... Keep up the good work.
Great stuff guys.
Hanging rock is awesome I have done a few bikes rides from Tuross heads to that lookout. Climbing all the way there, downhill all the way back :)
Would be a great ride with a rewarding view and descent at the end. 👍
Well done Lewy on that climb at 7:00. Love watching your stuff. Genuine dudes. Hey what map software you using on your mobile bud?

What tyre pressures were you guys running?
Varies depending on tyre size between the cars. But probably somewhere between 18-25psi.
