Looks great! I think I can do this, I'm old too, and sometimes the hands get shaky and sometimes I can't push down hard enough and the screwdriver skips a few times, but no worries things turn out just fine. Thank you for your video!

A baby squirrel showed up on my deck. I estimate he's about 6 weeks or so. I've been feeding him and giving him water. Thanks for the video this gave me some great ideas!

This will be my next project I think. Been making feeders for them as I have a few that visit me daily that I feed.

That's great,to hear. dad likes to sit and watch them eating on the perch he made.
He puts dried corn stalks out for them,they go nutts over it.

Only issue the squirrels didnt make it in time to live in it, REASON..
The bees made a hive with it, dint know what to do to get rid ofbthe bees.

okay, gotta do-it 😉. found a small squirrel (8-10 wks) in my yard that fell out of it's nest about 60ft. up. can't get momma to get it so I must take care of it 🙄🙄🙄. loves bananas

Neighbor of mine says to cut the entry hole only 2” and throw in a number of peanuts in the shell inside and when a squirrel chews the entry hole larger to get inside for the peanuts they’ve taken ownership of it feeling they built their home. Sounds good to me but not sure if a step needing to be taken.

i would NOT put foam in the squirrel box because it will get wet. rain could leak through the cracks and the squirrel could be wet. it would be wet and cold for the squirrel.

Never put that crap foam inside the box, from a squirrel expert I researched , never put clothing , cotton stuff inside , it traps moister and creates mildew , he said if you want to put something in there , use panty hose , that’s it , and dry leaves

You would be better off using 3/4 inch exterior plywood to build your squirrel house and laminate it with 3/8 shed plywood, it has a rough surface . Your house is not very good , for one thing it’s too high and your roof is going to leak like a sieve . You don’t even have a pedestal for them , you should have put a couple of hands full of Timothy in the bottom . Your squirrel house is a failure , your mark is a F .
