I want to thank you guys. Since April 2023 I’ve been dealing with a double cancer. Weeks & weeks in hospital, chemo side effects, major surgery…but the point of this post isn’t sympathy - I’m doing fine and I’ll be OK once I’m through this. The point of this comment is to let you know that watching you two follow your dream, and make it a reality, has been such a wonderful distraction for me that it’s really helped me get through the difficult times. I’m so excited for you both, and can’t wait to follow the story to its launch. Good luck to you both and thank you for sharing this with us all x
I really feel this comment. I too am going through some difficult health issues, not as bad as yours but I need surgery coming soon. I feel the same way about this journey and I am so grateful to be able to witness it.
She's a big girl. Everything below the waterline looks very 'working boat'. Bulbous bow. Twin full keels. Even her forward superstructure has a commercial fishing boat feel. I like it. She definitely has ocean capable written all over her. Good luck with the sea trials and happy travels.
Your yacht looks incredibly staunch and tough. Amazing how the yard can move massive yachts like yours as easily as we wheel a grocery cart around the supermarket.
She is so beautiful! Congratulations and thank you for taking us on this journey with you. I am also so impressed with the music that you choose to add to your videos. It adds so much to the impact of the video. 🎶💕
It blows me away how little of the hull is actually under the waterline. I know the machinery and tankage makes it possible but as a retired crabber it looks tippy. I'm use to 3/4 of the hull under water. Beautiful boat, can't wait to see it moving out.
WOW what a boat.... we need a bigger shark!! Breath taking that shape. A technical query: the metal props supporting the boat will need to be oxy cut off and grinder finished? The the same protective layers get applied, then painting. Thats what I need to see is how the boat is suspended whilst the hull is pained. 🤔🙏
She looked like a reasonable size, then as she wheeled past the cars, a few words from Rico’s vocabulary came to mind … she is MASSIVE …! Congrats Nauti Guys!
Must be a proud moment seeing something you have worked on for so long, getting to see the light of day for the first time. I am sure that you can't wait for her to be launched.
I noticed at 5:12 the REAL Yard Manager was on the prowl keeping an eye on things. And another example of an advantage to having a metal hulled boat, if you DO have to move it around during construction, you leave the supports welded to the hull!
I cannot believe how much work goes into making a boat of this size, clearly a lot of progress has been made. There’s a lot we take for granted and don’t necessarily consider the fact it has to be designed and built. Your Bering has made its first move as it were, a short step but a milestone in the process as it were. I wonder if there’s a date penciled in for launch day or is it a secret to keep us followers in suspense? We will have to be patient and be prepared to raise a glass to you and the many people involved. I would guess Alexi will be wanting to see everything come into fruition.
It's been a couple of months but, that feeling of seeing her in the light of day can't be beat. Congratulations, she's coming along nicely. Thanks for sharing
She's a tidy ship, compact and still voluminous. What a difference in tonnage with her big sister! She's gonna be a dream to handle in marinas and anchorages.
Absolutely awesome! So cool seeing her next to her bigger sister the Bering 88! WOW!! So much progress is being made..When should we expect the float out to be?? THAT will be a very exciting day, to say the least! Congrats to you both and thanks for sharing this with us! :)
At my age I couldn't wait around long enough to have a yacht built. I don't even buy green bananas when I go to the store. Both of those yachts look massively solid and strong.
Wow, what an amazing and complex process it was to build your dream. I'm in awe of the craftsmanship, design, and detail that went into this fantastic ship.
Very cool. I especially liked the comparison beside the 88 which provides an alternate perspective. Then watching the move back to the shed and looking up all of those stairs to the owners suite. Coming along but not fast enough I am sure :)
I see that you added a fourth strip of protection on the bulbous bow. Also, I see that they applied guide coat on the starboard side, so you are getting closer to paint. Let's hope that Turkey stays out of the conflict in the Middle East, or taking delivery of that yacht may be difficult.
WOW, that is a BIG Boat for Ricco's 5 shirts lol ; Did they do the interior yet? or do they do some sort of sea trails before they build out the inside?
Awesome profile! It’s huge, but crazy how it looks kinda the same on the front end as her bigger sister, but on the back end, her bigger sister is definitely bigger. Anyways! Awesome!
Breathtaking. Such music. Worth a thousand words. I can feel your passion in this. Every time, you knock us out. You should write a book about this video. I would stand outside in a line the rain to buy it. Bless you.
@@NautiGuys For that money I would rather indulge in any of the prettier boats you have shown on your other channel in the last month. Less embarrassing anyway.
Amazing looking Yacht. Also what's amazing is this trailer maneuvering your yacht back into the building whse. You must be very excited. And that's what she said! Looking forward to next video.
Thanks for the preview! Those stocky chimes will serve you (and the guests) well in rough water. The prop guards look plenty sturdy for potential floating debris, too. I think it was a smart call to go with real steel. Plasticky paper thin boats may have cool-looking statistic pages, but a proper vessel like this is going to hold up better in the bump and grind of real world navigating. Congratulations and we're all anticipating launch day for you! :)
I am both anxious and excited for continued updates on this build. It is so impressive. Keep up the great work. Love following this journey. Merry Christmas to you both. 🎉
Your yacht is looking very impressive, even out of the water. And like I just said in today's earlier video. Yachts made by commercial shipbuilding companies, have a look all their own. Alexi did not start in yachts, he started in commercial. And what about the guy in San Diego, who started in building fishing vessels in Seattle for the Alaska fishing trade. Look at his yachts. Impressive, just like Bering and Ocean King.

I love that size comparison between the 88 and your 82.
happy to hear John
Bobbit compared to Holmes
Which makes the rename from 75 to 82 look ridiculous. It’s like US vanity clothing sizes but in reverse.
@@MasterChief37 I would not let Bering put 82 on the boat. I would be so embarrassed every time I had to explain to people it is actually 75 feet.
