Poor Adam, Fallon and Steven should’ve given him a chance. No one wants to be bothered with him and wonder why he is the way he is, does what he does and acts the way he acts.
When Steven returned he didn’t give Adam a chance. While Adam was faulted I don’t think the way Steven and Fallon treated him as an outcast helped him in the family by any means.
In the final seasons of the show Adam's relationship with Steven did get better. He and Fallon finally were on speaking terms even though they would have arguements.
Its also obvious without needing to look it up. But Adam is a better actor. Even though the character is evil it isn't over the top seems very nuanced and sly.
This really pisses me off. Here Adam was being totally truly sincere, trying to explain, trying to reach out, trying to befriend Steven and Steven just spits in his face. Just schitts all over him. And yet Steven treats Adam like dirt, but Steven is viewed as a hero, as a near-saint, when in reality he was being a total assh*le. I ordinarily like Steven but he can truly be a total A-hole. Both Steven and Fallon never even gave their brother a chance. Just treated him like total scum, when they didn’t even know him. I’ve always loved Adam, although he did some deplorable things. But they all wonder why he acts the way he does, when Steven and Fallon act like they are holier than thou. If anyone recalls, they did some awful things too. They act all high and mighty, when they are no one to judge.
If he wasn't such a psychopath, maybe he'd be considered more important by his family. After all, who can trust someone who lies, manipulates, rapes, poisons etc.?
I know it's not supposed to be the take-away from this clip, but am I wrong in assuming this was the most sensible outfit of Alexis' during the course of the show?
Adam Carrington was a great soap villain. He was devious and sneaky.

Adam and Amanda did hit it off pretty well. They had a great sibling rapport, but sadly they didn't do much with it.
Fallon and Steven were both snooty and spoilt, though fascinating characters.
