1. Praying.
2. Watery stool. Use osmotic laxative such as forlax as it can make your stool a bit watery. Dissolve one sachet in 50ml of water, drink in the morning and before bed. Two sachet per day. Drink 15-25ml of duphalac before bed too (only at night).
3. Liquid diet for 36-48 hours. No food. Just water. Any drinks.
4. The day after liquid diet, drink apple+orange+salad smoothies and green juice at night (celery+cucumber+green apple+spinach+salad) for four days. Add on probiotics drinks or eat yogurt. Avoid cow’s milk. Day 6 try to chew your meal. Dont eat too much. Drink lotsssssss of warm water as it can help in digestion. 4liter per day.
5. Eat high fiber diet. Avoid red meat, white rice, potatoes or anything that can make your stool hard for at least a month. Can add to your diet little by little when you feel you are ok to try to have normal size of stool like before. If after you eat much, your fissure reoccure, repeat liquid diet. The next day after liquid diet you will be ok again with the watery stool. Maintain watery stool until you recover.
6. GTN such as Rectogesic or diltiazem hydrochloride 2% such as Cremagel.
7. Apply after each time you have your bowel movement or 3 times (GTN) or 4 times (diltiazem hydrochloride 2%) per day. Before bed is a must.
8. Repeat number 1, keep praying.
I am adoctor and I have the fissure 3 years with on and off episodes .I use ointments but I want to know better to have operation or continue conservative. Some doctors said to me you will not got relieved 100 percent except after operation .is it correct
one thing did not work for me Fruit smoothie of apple cucumber spinach they sometimes make stool rough though it feels soft. The stool with duphalac and ezlax is long and narrow. After doing 9 day clean liquid diet i started with fruit smoothie. on 3rd day that the ending of stool even though soft was harsh because the jelly type was not there even with good amount of laxative. I had bad bleeding. Back to square one. But then i tried what worked for me last time. White rice after mom coocked. i Cool it and then put the rice in cooker with only 3 vegetable which ever i have( loki, squash, spinach) and add dal made in home. Then 3 whistle. now i squeez this with hand the rice and veggi and dal. (always eat less plese, i took my 1time rice for 3 time) Shifted to cremafin liquid. 1and half spoon in morning and in night (TAKE 2 SPOON OR 2 CAPS IF NEEDED dont put too much it will make diarrhea, its very powerful) Belive me the stool was so damm soft and always covered in jelly . most importantly i never had to push and the amount of stool was less long compared to fruit smoothie...it was always on time.. so IF U FEEL SMOOTHI IS STILL HURTING pls swith to my method for 1day. And my cut was inside and out, cremagel always comes out so used a syringe and push in anus. But belive me putting cremagel is not always easy best is muscle relaxant. GO for flexura -d from sunpharma. in begining take one in morning 1 in night. Initially i could not even fart without pressing my butt cheeks, but with this u will be able to fart, trust me the sphincter will be relaxed. after 5 days start taking half of this tablet at morning & night. NOW SILTZ BATH WITH DETTOL LIQUID OR BETADIN 10% liquid. If the fissure in touchable with out hurting(try not to look everyday) u can use betadin5% ointment and jatyadi oil (from any company i used dabur). I am sure this will help, my cut was half an inch from inside to outside, now i have a sentinel tag(my reminder). U cant even imagine my pain, could not sit for the first 10 days. but ok now finally after 1 month. Antibiotic may have done it faster but after antibiotic i always have constipation so not for me. If u see little puss and ur cut is not very old try giving betadin 10% liquid in anus with syringe, it will definitely work. dONT WORRY IN 7 DAY U WILL FEEL SOO GOOD. Edit_ forgot to mention Borolin, it helped big time.
PLS PLS AVOID FIBER UNTIL YOUR FISSURE HEAL....U DONT WANT BIG STOOL WHEN U HAVE SPASM IN SPHINCTER,,, isapgol will make stool bigger...atleast the mouth of first stool, so be careful.

How does liquid diet help? Would it not cause constipation?

Hello..As suggested in this video, please advice your husband for sitz bath - sitting in hot water in a small tub for 10 mins before and after toilet. Really it will reduce the pain and burning. Try it..

I’m going through the exact same thing. I’ve had it for 20 years now. Soaking helps but in extreme cases not so much. I read that prep H wipes and cream make a difference. Good luck!

I have radiation dermatitis which are the side effects of radiation and suffer with fistulas and piles but not due to constipation but diarrhea. After being on treatments for cervical and lymph nodes cancer stage 3B I don't want to go for an op😥I've been using all the creams I was told to use and it just wouldn't help. I have a chronic fissure, I'm going on year 5. My doctor scared me with the LIS surgery, telling me that I was going to be in severe pain for up to 6 weeks, and that even pain medication won't help. @@idlegaming5274 it will. Trust me. At least you can rest from the pain for a while. I feel you. These two are very important, the ointment and watery stool as they can speed up the healing process. Please find the osmotic laxative that can make your stool watery. I read soflax also can make the stool watery. The day after liquid diet, you will have a watery stool with no pain. The watery stool will come out by itself without any effort.
