This stuff is awesome, I have a fissure and it takes the burn and itching away, I can sleep again! It hasn't healed it yet but I'm very happy with the results already. The prescription medicine makes it worse. I feel nitroglycerin and diltiazem after a month make the itch so bad I have to stop using them, fiber works well but when I forget to use it in the morning I'm screwed. Thanks for recommending this cream it's the best thing I've used so far.

I've been using pranicura for less than a week and haven't even switched to baby wipes yet but the pranicura itself is already helping tremendously with my pruritus ani. Reduces the urge to itch, keeps things nice and cool and dry. highly recommend.
Why would anyone have an urge to itch? I can see having an urge to scratch an itch but why would you want the itch in the first place?
I’m healing from a fistulotomy. Extremely itchy and this helps. They key is don’t scratch!!!!

Can Pranicura be applied and used for internal hemorrhoids located in the rectum channel? I have heard other proctologist recommending CBD oil for hemorrhoids and fissure but not sure the CBD oil strength you have to use and if Panicura is better at healing hemorrhoids

Good luck. I was sceptical to be honest, but it did work for me. I don’t use it every day, just when needed. The most important thing is beeing nice to your bottom end, don’t scratch or rub like mad with TP after finishing up.

Mine arrived today, so i used it right away, i have a fissure so when I applied it, it felt like the feeling when you put Vicks on your skin lol mild heat but not burning.. hopefully will work

I have seen 3 doctors 3 surgeons tried everything that’s out there still not back to where I was but got my life back it’s a combination of things I think to get better 1 diet 2 exercise 3 good sleeping
I think pranincura is good product and if it doesn’t work for you it won’t make it any worse maybe you should use Vaseline first I think it’s really worth a try

Hi Dr. Chung, just began using Pranicura 4 days ago for a fissure. Would you mind answering two quick questions for me? So for the past few days I’ve been lucky enough to use the bathroom essentially discomfort free. The biggest issue is actually throughout the day. Is it normal to feel discomfort when I have gas and while moving in any way throughout the day? Is it all about just giving it time? Thank you!

I'm biased. For bottom end conditions, a colorectal surgeon is more qualified as this is a mandatory part of our training and daily experience.

Hello, first off I want to say thank you for dedicating you UA-cam channel to this topic. I have suffered for almost 2 years with anal fissure I developed for giving birth, also hemorrhoids. It has been daunting, debilitating, and just completely has turned my life upside down when things have gotten really bad. I purchased Pranicura after watching your first video about, but I have been apprehensive to try it, because of a bad experience I have using homeopathic fissure oil that made me break out in pustules 😳 that was also absolutely awful. Since then I have kept using my perscription ointment, that doesn't seem to help me move any further in my healing than where I am right now. I really want to try pranicura, but am afraid of having a bad reaction... do you have any advice?

Doctor Chung, what should be our diet with chronic anal fissures? Its extremely confusing, should we eliminate gluten, dairy? As the instructions say to have soft bowel movements, diet plays an important role as everyone's triggers are different...

Dr Chung any tips for surviving colonoscopy prep with a chronic fissure? Other than a barrier and gentle rinsing after each round of diarrhoea I’m not sure if there’s anything else than can be done.
Unfortunately it’s essential I get this done as a scan has found inflammation in my bowel but my GI did not have much useful advice for me with the prep for my fissure other than it’s a low volume prep called Plenvu. Either way hours of diarrhoea with my tight anal sphincter sounds like a recipe for disaster!

I had an almost diarrhoea BM today and it’s set the sphincter into spasm and nothing can get out (this happens to me a lot). I’m genuinely worried the prep diarrhoea will not be able to get out due to how tight the sphincter and pelvic floor muscles is. Not to mention it’s burning already. Any thoughts?

Believe me but it is highly unusual for me to leave comments but in this case, maybe I could help some one that's suffering from anal pain. I've had itching, bleeding and down right painful hemorrhoid that would come and go. Long story short, recently I had a major flare up and nothing worked. Is this better than the calcium channel blocker ADN lidocaine cream I’m using? I’m going on week 4 of using it and I’m still miserable. 😭😭😭 I start my residency in March, and I don’t know if I’ll make it. The pain with EACH bowel movement is BEYOND painful. I’m in bed the rest of the day with a stinging and throbbing pain that radiates from my anus up and towards the front 😭😭😭😭😭

Dr Chung, I ordered Pranicura and noticed that the jar says "Don't use unless diagnosed" by a physician with an anal disorder. Do you think it's okay to use whether we go to a doctor or not? Unless I find a doctor like you, I'm not all that enthusiastic about going to doctors around here. I just ordered my first bottle of pranicura. Hoping beyond all hope it really helps me out. I’ve been using Calmoseptine for the last several years but I’ve had a terrible bout of anal pain and itching the last 2 weeks so fingers crossed.

I appreciate you asking me about my situation. I am still in excruciating pain day after day. A girl friend diagnosed me with multiple severe chronic anal fissures and a possible fistula as well. My.colonoscopy is feb 13 and I just hope I dont have cancer. The amt of pain I am in, is incredible. It aint no hemmeroid pain lol.

A-Hole Gunner thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my comment, I am in desperate need of help, I just had a baby 2months ago and dealing with this situation and having to take care of a newborn is a real tough situation, I'm starting to get depressed, I cry every single day. I did go through this a couple of years ago and it was as painful as it is now I took some pills and ate very clean and tons of water, that helped and it was gone until now after having my baby :( I thought it was going to go away like the first time but I'm getting desperate. I will be contacting a doctor or the hospital today idk what else to do to be honest. Be very careful with Pranicura....They screwed up my phone order by making up/assuming my name from my email id - even though i clearly spelled out my name from my debit card. So they have another name for my address and money. Called them up and they have no problem taking money from you by PHONE. But when they screwed up -and called them back by phone they couldn't fix- and i have to do "emails". No way. 15 mins later??
I've been eating bread every single day, for a month. I had a giant stool that was big, hard, and painful. I could feel it tear through me. I've had several anal fissures before, but never too painful. Maybe a little bit of a pain, maybe some stinging/burning. I have been bleeding. I actually reached and felt the fissure when showering/cleaning and I can feel the fissures when I go to the bathroom. So I am certain it's just an anal fissure. The fact that I can feel the fissure and I got it after a very hard stool that really tore through me, those two things got me convinced it is in fact a fissure. Regardless I don't feel as much pain as I've heard described. Very mild discomfort. Anyway. Kept bleeding with every stool and when I look in the toilet I can see that the blood is external, not internal. I can tell because the blood only appears on one side of the stool and on the outside. I assume the end of the stool, not the beginning of the stool. That being said. I think I might of re-torn a few days ago, but it might be "healing". I had sudden diarrhea two hours ago. It was not all bloody but bloody in one single spot which leads me to again think it's external, not internal. Again, think the blood part is from the end of the stool when I finished, not the beginning of it. No pain, no burning or itching but when I wiped the entire toilet paper was full of blood. I thought it might of been healing since the last couple of times less blood. I'm pretty sure I remember having this before...but it does scare me. I had barely any pain during, and no pain after. Any thoughts or suggestions, etc? And how much blood is too much blood? How worried should I be? And is it normal? Thank you. For peace of mind. I was really hoping my fissure would go away and I wouldn't have to worry about it, but since I had two hard stools and bleeding it does concern me. I should also mention that before the very hard and big stool, I had long [but not hard] stools with no blood. Felt perfectly fine. I normally have normal sized, but I was having long size for some reason. Even with normal stools I still bleed and now I had diarrhea and I bled. I am working out on a stationary bike every day and I have an appetite. In fact I've been trying to suppress my appetite. Also, blood is normal blood. Not black and after I wipe a second or 3rd time less and less blood. So I aint continuously bleeding as far as I can tell.
I actually kind of have very light itching right now but super mild.
For me I've noticed I have fissures from posture when I go to the bathroom [straining or squatting] or big hard stools. Other then those two things I'm fine
FWIW, I've had the toilet water go dark red several times in a row before getting it stopped, and when I told a GI doctor, he said nobody bleeds out from hemorrhoids. I was worried, but he reminded me that when you have blood tests, they can take a dozen tubes at once and you still walk away from it. I don't think this would apply to people taking blood thinners though.

@@mickie2943 Not to sound condescending, but I really don't feel comfortable talking about medical advice over the internet and I aint a health professional of any kind.
That being said. All I would say is...certain foods can make it hard, don't hold it in, go straight for the bathroom and don't strain.
Also..I would ask "where is the blood coming from?" Is it internal or external?
Because if it's internal, then it clearly is something else not hemorrhoids. So I always look for that.

How was it
I’m just ordered this but with that said I’m just over two weeks out and once they removed the stitches the pain improved drastically. With each passing day I feel less and less the urge to drag my butt across the carpet. The itching can be intense at time.

But wooo weee that menthol burns like non other the first hour or so.

I’m using for chronic fissure and currently at day 37. While the cream have given me some form of relieve it have not cure my fissure. My fissure tear should be small as I’m not feeling the ultra burning or glass cutting sensation many are experiencing however I’m still having pain every now and then. For me the cream did not do much to improve my condition hope it would help the rest who are trying them out.
Honest review, once the fissure becomes chronic, the chances of self-healing are slim without a surgical intervention.
