I made this pie for my mother , I followed all your instructions , it came out really good , as I cut into the pie , I looked into my mom's eyes and said , ( I see you eyeing the first piece) and she smiled, lol 😜 thanks a bunch!!

I made this yesterday and it was AMAZING! Thank you! FYI, if anyone doubles it for 2 pies, the cornstarch slurry takes a little more than double the time to thicken.
I have made strawberry pies from scratch several times, and I have to tell you that there is such a marked difference in flavor in a homemade pie crust and whipped cream that I've never went back to using readymade pie dough nor whipped topping EVER since! It is so well worth the extra effort and time. My recipe is a little different, but I'm CERTAIN your version is just as delicious! You can really get down and cook in the kitchen, girl! I enjoy watching your videos. Such a beautiful family and delicious recipes. Thanks so much for sharing!

Mz Marie my tortilla comes out perfect. My pie crust comes out tough. I am still learning to make pie crust. I made peach pie and pie crust wasn't perfect but my best one yet. When my pie crust dough pinches together but have ton of crumbs I add water. No told me have to knead crumbs until dough ball forms and chill🤔😘
My 2nd time making this pie and it is soo good! Trying to see what else to make from your ch! 🤔 I've already tried 7 recipes now and all came out great thank you!
What a delicious looking pie, I can imagine the taste of it already. Unfortunately for me two of my six grandkids are allergic to strawberry's, kiwi's and peaches so needless to say it's very rare we have those fruits around our home, especially when they visit. It's a pie my wife and I enjoy though when we dine out. But I'm sure you understand about allergies.
Just give them an alergy pill and endulge. You have to let them taste the joy. Then read The Plant Paradox to learn how to improve gut biome, to create a robust immune system. Allergies are a result of an overactive immune system... auto immune disease.

I tried this with cherry flavoured jello and I personally like cherry better than strawberry jello it’s still filled with chopped strawberries but with the cherry flavour and whipped cream it tasted like a Black Forest cake which is my favourite😁

Fly2020 ....did you follow the recipe exactly? I used Manteca (lard) the first time as and the Crisco butter flavor shortening the second time.
