Dude I saw this live in Minneapolis the month this album came out. When he started ripping the riff at 1:54sec I was fucking blown away. I had a "Holy Shit" moment. ahhh man... I love "Holy Shit" moments at concerts... I will always remember that.
I wish I could play as crazy as he does. He gave me is guitar pick last year at a concert. You should see how used it is, never seen a guitar pick like that. A really nice gift he gave me ;O)
Damn good version of Siege Engine! And the solo, nice view, TY. :-) As Joey, I can't stop listening... all BH songs. :-) Doctor, I'm Buckethead addict!!!
The most underrated and under appreciated musicians on the planet... I've been a fan of his for nearly 20 years now, and am a;ways impressed when his work is on this level. His newest album Shadows Between The Sky is up there with Colma and Electric Tears... simply great.
How have I not heard of BH until six months ago? This song leaves me speechless. It's left me wondering if 'Liz Reed is really the last song I want to hear before I die. Really.
Maybe it's because is guitar is tune half-step down, there is less tension on the strings. My guitar is tuned like that, and I can't remember last time I broke a string.
@Ihatecoldnnnirror i agree, there are some stuff thats all like electro or techno that i just cant get into, but songs like this, jordan, soothsayer ect are just amazing
@BroketheFlood11 Of course I do. Let me explain : I love melodic music. But there are a lot of BH songs , that are unmelodic and only fast as hell. But on the other hand.. Listen to songs like Soothsayer.. or Slug.. or Waiting Hare.. These are very melodic songs.. And this is why i love Buckethead.
Bukethead is a technically advanced robot, most likely a prototype from Japan, possibly Taiwan, consisting of .25% recycled Casio watch innards and KFC fryer circuit boards, and 99.75% BALLS.
I'm sure he broke strings here and there in concert. Shit happens. Especially when Buckethead rains so much awesomeness on a guitar, it has to burst sometime.
I agree with that about 3 quarters of the way. I play Guitar Hero/Rock Band so I know what he means. The game is incredibly entertaining and Buckethead has 2 songs on there; Jordan and Soothsayer and I can't help but just bob my head because his music runs me. It would take so much time to learn his guitar stuff for me because i'm not nearly as inclined to play guitar and trust me, I've tried.
@jesevil Hmm, but I don't you play like (let alone as much as) Buckethead. But like I said his strings do break here and there, like any normal guitar that is used heavily. I think there's a video on youtube of that actually.
Go check Buckethead Lesson video, he does one lesson one the finger nubs, and you can see that he holds he's pick between his index finger and his thumb. That way he can finger nubs with his 4 fingers. I pratice it, and it hold pretty well taht way. bonne journée!
@morglum09 Dude, that comment is 10 months old.. Back then I just wanted to say that he is a very Experimental Guitarist. I wanted to say that I don't like his experimental stuff without any melody and stuff like that. But I love tracks like this one here.
Oh yeah xTiLKx I can hear it too cuz I'm using headphones at 5:55 you can hear it pretty loud idk what it is lol But Buckethead is great man I'd say my favorite guitarist next to Paul Gilbert
No one can touch Buckethead, best guitar player in this goddamn world in my opinion.....
Don't ever delete this video , it's amazing
This is one of the best Siege Engine performances I've seen.

You can see how much pure energy he's putting into this performance. It's brilliant song!

Sad today I just started listening to him last week
that was so beautiful, i love buckethead
I just really like the build up before the shred. The amount of vibrato applied during that last bend is amazing.
Great camera work filming the hands, i could just watch that all video. So ridiculously amazing.
Love the sound of the triple rectifiers the most
when i die this will be played at my funeral
Really good camera quality!!! I like it and Buckethead
What a performance ! Amazingly beautiful !
Buckethead , you are The Guitar God !
Wow. Those who say that Buckethead sucks should listen to this song. The studio version is even more epic. =P
Long live Buckethead!
This is far beyond imagination.
Love him
I prefer his live versions of all his songs to his studio ones. The way he changes bits of the song and improvises is incredible
How have I not heard of BH until six months ago? This song leaves me speechless. It's left me wondering if 'Liz Reed is really the last song I want to hear before I die. Really.
Ah! He's so coool!
this is so amazing!! those riffs sound so great mixed kickass then relaxing perfect!!

My favorite tune from Buckethead, with Sail to Soothsayer
Buckethead is such a badass
@AOrfino Thanks for posting, bro. Excellent quality vid.
@BroketheFlood11 Of course I do. Let me explain :

his phrasing is superb.
This is my favourite Buckethead song since Soothsayer

Totally agree with that statement.
one word BUCKETHEAD
I agree with that about 3 quarters of the way. I play Guitar Hero/Rock Band so I know what he means. BUCKETHEAD IT'S № 1

@jesevil Hmm, but I don't you play like (let alone as much as) Buckethead. But like I said his strings do break here and there, like any normal guitar that is used heavily. I think there's a video on youtube of that actually.
@hertsman50 dude check out soothsayer, jordan guitar hero version or nunchuka cata.
My love😍
Lucky you! I've been practicing it for weeks now and can't get it down! It really frustrates me :(

godlike)
I happen to disagree this live version is more epic he adds to it. And it's always better live.
yeeeeeeeah come in italy my loveee
Haha, Daedge15 says the funniest things... BTW awesome song.
Even if he did forget the exact notes to any of his songs he would simply improvise anyway
My head exploded at 1.54
5:15 - 5:28 is insane
DiMarzio, for starters, but I can never figure exactly what model. They might be custom, but I know they're Norton, Air, or Tone Zone- sounding names
