That was the radio edit. The whole song has some orchestral pieces that take the song to a whole new level. Synister Gates is an amazing guitar player.

Funfact: The drummer also hated spiders. He was not happy about letting them crawl on him, but he did it for the fans. They put a fake one on his face to prep him for the real ones and he said that was bad enough. If you watch the making of the video, he actually gets kind of short of breath when they first put the spiders on his face. Also the laughing in the background wasn't planned. The drummer would show up drunk to do vocals and would just go crazy. He was supposed to do other vocals but he just started cracking up and they liked it.

Tomm Murphy i listened to that song roughly 30 times today. I practically cry lol. I start reminiscing hard of listening to them way back in the day, and think about how long they’ve been around and how they are still making great music that fucking rocks. Saw them at sonic temple this year and that performance was so wholesome. Fucking killer setlist and performance from the band. Whole crowd was fuckin crazy. Def one of the best mosh pits. Yeahhhh. The lyrics were written by the former drummer of the band as a message that he felt like he didn't belong here, when he found out that he had an enlarged heart, and was told by doctors that he was't going to live past 30 years old. He secretly wrote a song, now called Fiction, which happened to be a suicide note. He turned it in and took his own life 3 days later in December of 2009 at the age of 28 . If you really want to hear some deep lyrics, react to Fiction on the Nightmare album. In fact, most of the songs on the Nightmare album are dedicated to him.

i don’t know if someone else says this but nightmare video is the opposite to this video. as you can see here a tarantula is on the rev face, in nightmare a tarantula is on an empty drum. in this video zacky is dancing with a woman, in nightmare video he is dancing with a skeleton. all the members of the band had their opposite in nightmare. finally the lyrics, here the start for example si “as walking into a dream” in nightmare the first words are “now your nightmare comes to life”. sorry for some errors but i’m not english neither american.
