    You are such a voice of reason in this world of extreme diets. Thank you so much for this balanced and informative video.

      Wow, thank you! :) I've realized over time extremes just don't work - especially in the long term.

    Love this video 💗 I am still trying to find the lifestyle diet that works for me. Although I cant see a life without seafood and eggs cause I love them so much! I have totally cut out chicken and only eat beef on occasion. But even the meat substitutes out there have alot of ingredients. So I agree with you that whole foods in its natural state and less processed is way healthier way to eat for sure! Keep the videos coming ty Jordan 🥰

      I'm SO with you! I went back and forth on that a lot...while I wanted to eat less meat, I also didn't want the ''faux'' meats with a lot of ingredients. You have to find the balance that aligns with YOUR values.

    Love this 💙 I eat and feel best when I eat a mostly paleo diet. I am lactose intolerant and can only tolerate milk and butter (since all the lactose is gone from butter anyway) so I focus on veggies and protein highest and add fat when I’m sautéing.. I find myself simply roasting a few veggies with a protein frequently 🤣 i love a good chicken breast/thigh with a few root veggies baked at 425° for 35 minutes. So simple and healthy. I love the idea of eating Whole Foods plant based but I simply do not feel as good, energized, or happy as when I’m eating animal protein more often.

    I am also pursing an anti inflammatory diet especially because I was diagnosed with lupus this year. Hope all is well!

    I thought Stevia was a healthy alternative in that it was natural. How is it a sugar alcohol, and why is it not as good and natural as I thought?

      Official recipe coming soon!! But for now...it's SO easy! I microwave 1/4 cup buckwheat cereal (brand in my amazon shop) with 3/4 cup water for 1 and half minutes. Add another 1/2 cup water and mix in a scoop of vanilla protein and 1 tbsp of ground flax...then top to your desire!

    I started watching Mediterranean Diet videos this year and saw yours! Now I see you switched! What do you like better? It says online Mediterranean Diet is the healthiest for the year.

    I like your idea of mixing tahini with maple syrup and putting it over your pancakes. I am going to try that for extra nutrition and calcium and healthy fats instead of just eating sugary maple syrup on its own.

      It is SOOO good! Especially with blueberry pancakes :) Tahini + blueberries are amazing!

    Hi Jordan, this video meant so much to me..I'm going through such a confusing time right now. Since I have both heart disease and cancer in my bio family, I'll follow any diet that claims to be protective but the more I research, the more I'm taken down a confusing rabbit hole. Veganism, paleo, keto, raw, who knows?? How do you not get frustrated and confused.

    • @jordanwaddell
      @jordanwaddell  2 роки тому +1

      Ah...I can only imagine how confusing it would be, especially when the 'stakes' feel high with your family history. This is why I like the more broad "anti-inflammatory" diet, because no food groups are off limits - but it emphasizes all the good stuff. I think it can be helpful to focus on what all those fad diets DO agree on: more vegetables, fruits, fiber-rich foods like nuts, seeds (some legumes) - then YOU get to pick the rest. You can't go wrong if you're working on adding more produce into your diet ;)

      @@jordanwaddell Thank u, so much..it really is that simple. Can u suggest how to get started on an anti-inflammatory diet..I follow many of your recipes but I'd also love to get deeper into what the diet is exactly. Maybe a book recommendation
