I'm so glad Dr. Ruscio mentioned that too, as I have been recommended S Boulardi by my consultant and I was anxious it could make my constipation worse.
I was given four different types of antibiotics because doctors couldn’t figure out what was going on with me. They kept saying it was a UTI but after treatment, I still had symptoms. After the treatment, I started experiencing vaginal pain. I believe the antibiotics wiped out my good vaginal bacteria. I thought it might have been vaginal atrophy and I was entering menopause but nothing helped it. I started taking SB and probiotics. Instant relief and the pain I was experiencing went away. I’m no longer having the urgency to pee or aching I would get. I’m so glad I chose to take these probiotics.
Dr Ruscio, thank you so much for this info’s, my doctor prescribe me the boulardii for SIBO, diarrhea, Hpylori and Candida, seems this probiotic it’s very secure, lot of benefits and versatility 🙏 well done 👏

Dr. Ruscio recommend probiotics in a lot of his video but failed to mention the strain. Saccharomyces boulardii in the study is 1-745. A lot of Saccharomyces boulardii sold are not 1-745. So other strain may not work the same. Another one would L.rhamnosus GG.

I am neither constipated nor have I had diarrhea S. Bouldardi for 2 months has greatly reduced my bloat along with the pain that comes with it. I began taking it orally. For the past 3 weeks I have been making a fizzy apple cider drink that gets more of this bacteria into me taking 3 oz morning and B/4 bed. Wow what a difference. Would like to make a similar drink with other strains. Would that work in similar fashion?
I read in a book which I can not now find that SB can increase something in the gut of people with psoriasis that is low,I don’t know what that is without finding the npbook again lol. Any idea?
Honestly, I have taken s. Boulardii for years because I have had diarrhea for years. I always take it a couple of days and then skip 2 or 3 b/c I believed it was giving me constipation. You say that is not the case, so I'm going to take it every day. Maybe I've just been scared it was stopping me b/c it stops the diarrhea so quickly. I need to adjust my diet as well. Thank you, Dr.❣
Thanks for the video! I have just tried the saccharomyces boulardii for a week (have been struggling for years with SIBO) as per my nutritionist’s suggestion and it was great, a lot less bloated and nothing of that sensation of "full stomach" after meals. I don't eat dairy now for years (which helped me a lot) and had reduced a lot the sugar intake for about a month or two now (which instantaneously stopped the pain and several bloating I’d been suffering) and taking the S.B. reduced even more the leftover abdominal distension I still have. I stopped taking it now, after a week, and already feel the difference, so will go back to taking it for 2-3 months as you recommend (also in a higher dosis, as I took 250mg per day). Will watch the other videos of yours for other SIBO probiotics and maybe try others after this period. Many many thanks!
I have been taking s boulardi for a long time ( about a year) . It's excellent in stopping my ibs diarreha. But when I stop this, the loose motion relapses. Does it mean I have to take s boulardi forever? If so, is it all right to take it forever?
does it help with SIFO? trying to look up the answer online the information is not readily available and what little there is suggest that it cannot help with candidiasis of the gut, specifically concerning the biofilm. I would love to know if you are aware of what help it could possibly be in this case with Candidiasis and biofilm.

How important do you think is getting the exact same type as presented in the studies? Will results vary?
S.Boulardi is preferred over Antibiotic treatment for SIBO? I have a very difficult time finding natural supplements that are palm oil free, which I require, so I’m considering the antibiotic treatment. I’m still interested in the natural approach. Thanks!😊

Good question. No, it isn't. There's the common misconception that if it's good for diarrhea it must be bad for constipation, but probiotics balance the gut. So it's beneficial for both.
