so you're telling me Pearl is related to the crab boss? and she's been sending those bottles so he'd come home? and she gives you the pearl so you give that to him? but you kill him????? this is messed up
alright so after the chunk of the moon fell into the ocean the crab king and pearl got seperated leaving the celestial alter with him and pearl on that moon chunk though while pearl managed to keep herself sane by plugging up the holes the celestial altar drove the crab king insane and he took it with him and went into the sea stack area and pearl kept sending bottles out to try and get him to come home since he's her husband and when you find the crab king he's gone off the deep and and can't be reasoned with so the survivors have no choice but to put him down so when you bring the cracked pearl back to her she understands that he's gone but she appreciates that you tried to help and now considers you a true friend. hopefully this explained something for you

@@ZzzMeep There are mobs you can get to follow you, like rock lobsters who are docile unless attacked and befriended with rocks/minerals, and bunnymen who are docile to non-monster characters so long as you don’t have meat and are befriended with carrots. Unfortunately none of them speak or have individual tasks like Pearl does.
Me and my friend made a boat and sailed randomly in the ocean for adventure. We stumbled upon a bottle of message and decided to go there. We discovered pearl's place and was excited on discovering new land for the first time since we were relatively new to the game. THEN THE FIRE HOUNDS JUST CAME AND BURNED ALL THE TREES AND STUFF THAT WERE THERE. Damn these hounds 😭

Wigfrid and I are out. Going back to our year round underground base. The world just makes more sense down there.

A cool mechanic would be pearls friendship meter and each trade makes it go up by one for a maximum of fifty and when you get to fifty the crab king will crack pearls pearl open for you (if friendship is not at fifty you will have to fight him) and reveals a blueprint for an amulet called “Davey Jones’ Jogger” it looks like a gold encased amulet that has a turquoise gem in the middle (new Gem that can be traded for with pearl dropped by the crab king of found in certain sea stacks) the recipe would be made in a shadow manipulater and with four gold and one turquoise gem and would allow player to run on water (the player would sink if they stood still on the water it lasts for three minutes and drains sanity for 2 a second: bonus perks : when running on water you gain 35% less wetness, any damege will sink the player.
@@TheBeard777 we got 4 of bearger fur in one year and made insulation backpacks for everyone, then we made that coat to see if its good, and tbh i think tam o shenter does its job better
Shame we can’t actually reunite pearl with the crab king just because he needs to respawn for gameplay reasons. Otherwise Klei definitely would’ve let them reunite.
Uh... honest answer? Nope, not yet at least and won't be for a LONG time considering the way of the world currently... Klei has said that the next updates will be much smaller, which is totally understandable.
Ik that i'm late but still. Shipwreck isn't multilayer. But in DST there are mods that add shipwreck content. (some even from hamlet but they are glitchy)
