The best thing I like about these videos is the thorough breakdown of how these teams function and how they managed to be champion with such great teams
The problem with giving gym leaders a full team is the limitation in tjeir respective regions. But a good solution to this is to give the gym leaders pokemon of their respective types from the physically closest regions to their own. So let's say that the Kanto leaders fill their empty slots mainly with pokemon from Johto and if they still have empty slots then they can use one or two pokemon from the second closest region like Hoenn or Sinnoh but no further; the farther away a region is from their own the less likely it should be for a gym leader to have a pokemon from there.
I think it's a nice Video, but I think evolutions from later generations should defintely *not* be excluded. Seriously, a big mean looking Pokémon like Rhyperior would be perfect for Giovanni, or imagine Magmortar as Blaine's Ace. 😊 Also, 5 out of the 8 Gym Leaders could use a Eeveelution matching their favourite Types. And the others that don't match the Type still match the Number. So I'd say Koga should get Umbreon because of this whole Ninja thing, Giovanni would get Glaceon, because it would be a surprise for Grass Type Trainers, and Sylveon would be in Brock's Team, since he loves to take care of Pokémon, and Sylveon would be a great example for that. 😁 That's the one big problem I have with Let's Go Eevee as well, the lack of complete Evolution Lines. Gen 7, but it's still not possible to get a Leafeon or Bellossom in Kanto, but Alolan Forms and Megas are possible to obtain? If you stick only to the Original 151 Pokémon, fine, but adding additional forms and even 2 new Legendaries while denying the others to have their full Evolution Potential? Nah, that wasn't the best idea. 😅
Old comment, but Yeah, that's something that irked me about the let's go games, yeah they included regional forms and Megas, so future gen evolutions could have given it a little more oomph

I really liked the concept of the video, and I loved how you implemented some strategy to the teams while being realistic For Koga I would swap Beedrill for Venomoth just cause it fits him more and we've seen Venomoth in some of his teams
I'm confused. You mention abilities like Sheer Force and Scrappy, but also mention that ghost type in this gen typically have Levitate. Gengar no longer has that and considering this is the champion, I don't expect challengers to bring Haunter. So while Scrappy is nice, what generation are we actually considering here?
I would switch Wigglituff for Golduck in Misty's team And Machamp instead of Snorlax in Brock team. Because Machop is a champion that is found in the caves together with Geodudes and Onix, so I think it would fit well. He can also learn many rock moves such as rock tomb and rock slide.

I dont see Erika alignment with bug types as Parasect (even that is grass) and Butterfree, but many times she was showed having a Venusaur, in contrast to other gym leaders she is the only one that is related to an starter (just Blaine had a Charizard in the TCG but Misty was never been seen with an Squirtle). As talking about TCG Erika had a Dratini and a Dragonair, Erika could have a Dragonite as a champion maybe.
Please do: "What if Kanto's Elite Four were Gym Leaders?" Also, what if several of Gen 1's existing mons were of either Ghost or Dragon Types? With Ghosts; Gastly line as pure Ghost, Vulpix line as Ghost/Fire, Oddish line as Ghost/Grass, Venonat line as Bug/Ghost, Arbok line as Poison/Ghost, and Cubone line as Ground/Ghost? And now the Dragons; Charizard line as Fire/Dragon, Gyarados line as Water/Dragon, Aerodactly as Rock/Dragon, Slowpoke line as Psychic/Dragon, Groudon line as Ground/Dragon, and Dragonite line as pure Dragon(with Dragonite resembling its pre-evolutions).
There is one major flaw in Erika’s sunny day strategy. To counter the Pokémon that takes advantage of the sunny day, have a Pokémon with high speed or knows flare blitz such as arcánine or rapidash on your team Either one can sweep Erika’s team no problem

It be too easy to sweep with a very over powered Fighting pokemon.
The video concept is really cool, but there are some things that don't make sense... For example, you say there is a rule that permits you to add a pokemon that wears another type BUT he has to be able to learn the leader's signature TM move, although Gengar doesn't learn Calm mind...which is Sabrina's TM... Same for Surge, his TM is Shockwave but I guess it's still ok with porygon. Also, I would have given Venomoth to Koga and Tentacruel to Erika cuz Butterfree sucks... Maybe a starter Pokemon to Blaine, Misty and Erika would have been fun too, and Lapras instead of Dewgong to Misty dude....it's supposed to be a champion
Special moves on pokémons with rather bad special attack are not really what I would go for. And lets just skip Parasect all together, I would destroy it way before it even have half a chance to do anything against me without even having to worry about effect spore.
Give Misty a Golduck instead of a Wigglytuff and Blaine a Charizard instead of a Clefable. If I had to give Misty and Blaine a Wigglytuff or a Clefable, I would give Misty a Clefable and Blaine a Wigglytuff.
My main gripe is the non repeats. Sabrina and Erika should both be able to have Exeggutor if they were the champions. They wouldnt both be champion at the same time. Blaine's 6th is Charizard. Misty's 6th is Blastoise.
Koga's 6th is fine as Tentacruel but Gengar is the regions strongest Poison type. Beedrill can go.
Surge, i get it. Porygon makes perfect sense. And is the only one that does imo lol the rest of their teams are fine. I just had a consistent problem throughout the vid regarding this 6th slot.
Pretty solid ngl
I would like to see the before and after teams. JL team. JL champion team.
You sound like chatgpt in this video

Why not use Lapras over Dewgong for Misty? It's strictly better.
