I think the secret is just finding a style of training that you enjoy. The fitness "community" can often be overly focused on optimization to the point where people will dismiss many training methods that are perfectly adequate. By far the biggest factor when it comes to getting and staying in shape is adherence. You can pick pretty much any style of training that is popular and it will work, but only if you stick with it long term. And the only way to do that is to enjoy it.

Amazing diet plan... intermittent fasting is a game changer and allows you to eat what you want to eat once you break the fast....it's an amazing way to lose weight and why it hasn't been recommended more is sad.
The man has always been very lean, but I imagine he focused on the intermittent fasting due to the requirements for being a race car driver (his new second occupation). It's like a horse jockey. You must maintain a certain weight to reduce the amount of load the vehicle has for max speed/acceleration.

He does eat a lot of meat. Without speaking about global warming, eating that much red meat is shown to be quite bad for your health.
