- Hey everyone! i noticed a lot of people have been asking me to share my experience getting a DevaCut and Pintura highlights! and LUCKILY i knew y'all were going to want to see so i filmed it for y'all! i got it done a The salon CurlsOneOnOne in Republic Studio 101 in beverly hills! They are all Deva curl certified and do amazing cutting and coloring curly hair! ill list the address below if interested! but yes!! i LOVE my hair they did so amazing! even on reggie hair. they just taught us how to treat our curls. y'all know I'm the queen of frizz so this is different to have my hair all together and what not. i can still do both. have big frizzy hair or have nice defined curls. it just depends on how i brush it! so yeah enjoy!

I'm a bit confused on why most of the comments are about the (professional hair stylist) it doesn't matter if she's black or white she studied hair and she knows what's best for hair I swear y'all act like doctors and (hair scientists) when u don't agree with something she knows what oil is good for curly hair and what oil is not good for curly hair .
that's not the case all hair specialist. if you've watched jewejewebee's video, she recently went to a salon. her hair was super long, and the stylist (who was a white man) cut 9 inches off. to mention, the stylist was a really renowned one, who even worked with celebrities. and he didn't really help her with her curls at all. when she looked at his instagram she looked at other people who had her curl type, and he gave them all the same cuts.
Maliyah Ayala I wasn't asking for anyone to reply I was stating a point and I'm pretty sure I wasn't talking about jewejewebee I was talking about the hair stylist in (this video) let me repeat myself (this video) I honestly don't know why u brought that up but ok and maybe she should of went to someone who does curly hair on a regular basis not a "celebrity hair stylist" idc if u do celebrities hair I care if u do curly hair on a daily basis and I'm not gonna argue with someone over hair.

Breanna J The point of their comment was that hair stylist do not know everything. There have been so many horror stories when it comes to hair salons. Even the best people, like the stylist who did JewJew's hair (who does curly hair on a regular basis and is renowned) can fuck up. This is true for even doctors-they are human and get things wrong. To put 100% trust in stylist who does not have your hair texture and you're not totally sure of their education when it comes to certain hair is just impractical. People being skeptical isn't them trying to be assholes, but probably because they've heard the same shit about being educated on black texture from a stylist and walked out with jacked up hair.
YO YA America is probably "obsessed" with skin color due to the fact that our country was built off racism. Segregation ended nearly 60 years ago. How many people do you know that are 60+ years? The current President of the United States was alive then. If that doesn't tell you something.

I agree with the lady about 'hair oils' because they contain silicones and so many other chemicals. However - using natural oils like coconut won't create build up because they can actually be cleansed off 🙂

Fatemeh Moussavi so what about essential oils like peppermint and jojoba? because i use those all the time , and would hate it if they're really doing damage more than benifitting my hair
Morena Mamii when using essential oils, make sure you can use without carrier oils. Some things like tea tree oil, can do a lot of damage.
Tatyana Gordon oh no...i wasn't supposed to mix it with tea tree?? because I made a whole spray bottle filled with peppermint oil, Jamaican black castor oil, olive oil , jojoba oil, and tea tree...?
so are there any other carrier oils because I dont know what that means
Tatyana Gordon Tea tree oil? You sure? Because there's this brand at Trader Joe's and they use tea tree as their main ingredient, I've been using it since I was little. 😳

Hey girl, I'm loving your color and cut. Makes me want to save up to do the same. If it's not too much to ask, can you explain more on what the lady was saying when she was washing your hair? The curls at the top of my head have been super frizzy and I can't figure out why. It was interesting what she was saying about the cuticles and how you wash your hair matters. Thank you!
Liza Feliciano I know you weren't asking me, but basically the more open the hair cuticle is the more the hair will be frizzy do to moisture not being to stay in the cortex and the cuticles not laying down. The shingling method (smoothing the cuticle down from root to ends) it help the curls smooth out and lay flat. Never take your towel and rub it on your hair. Squeeze excess water out and maybe use a t-shirt to dry your hair or a smooth textured towel.

I got something like this by a salon here in my town. It was unlike any other hair salon! It made my hair soooo defined like yours!! They used ONLY deva curl products, also! Deva Curls slays curly people!!! I have soooo many Deva Curl products, because of you. I’m glad we got to have similar salon experiences with our curly haiirrrr!!!❤️❤️💯😘

Oh my gosh it's beautiful!! I wish I could get a deva cut but where I live there are no salons that are certified in that. My hair is always a huge frizzy mess and i literally only wear it up in a bun because I can't handle it and it sucks :/
