Hermela Solomon hey I hope you don’t mind me asking but you said you went to a stylist in VA I’m new to your channel but is your stylist open for new customer because I live in VA and I have a hard time finding someone who can cut curls the right way and isn’t gonna mess my hair up so I haven’t trimmed my hair for a long time because of this if you could help me out I would be very thankful !❤️

I couldn’t take my eyes off this video for one second. I have never seen such respect for curls. In a regular salon your gorgeous curls would be looked at as a problem to be straightened but here they were appreciated. She took so much time to understand what you wanted and actually showed you as she went in case you wanted her to fix anything instead of how most turn you around to your horror too late. She finger detangled your hair!!!!! I haven’t been to a salon in over five years but I would try this one in NYC. Thanks for posting this. It felt good in my spirit to see curls treated with respect and loving care❤️

Volume is not the thickness of strands only. It's the way the hair lays. Her hair was top heavy in areas causing flatness.

The hair was absolutely beautiful but can we please comment and how pretty she is. Her face features are gorgeous! I love how she has her own look and not overdone with crazy contouring and crazy lashes .. in other words, has not fallen for the sad trend of making herself look like every other girl in UA-cam with the blanket everyonelooksthesame makeup look. You go girl !

I am super porcelain white and have mostly wavy hair with some curls. I love deva curl. It's lightweight and defines all of my curls. It really is a versatile product for all.

I love ❤️ it! I’m a licensed cosmetologist and when I saw her first get started it looked liked she didn’t know the hack what she was doing with that natural wavy hair! I love how she took the time to explain to you what she was doing and what she was going to do! She listened to you and gave you exactly what you wanted! That sister girl knew what she was doing and gave you a bomb cut! Stick with her because it’s so easy to get messed up! And when they mess you up, they don’t have any remorse about it!!!

Nevila is the best! Ditto, found her on IG. She LISTENS! I'd recommend her, though I had a wee more product than I probably needed. But, she gave me so many pointers I'm still following today.

Fabulous cut-though your hair is already gorgeous so you can’t go too wrong 😉. I’ve been going to that salon for last two years and finally my schedule has synced up so that I have an appointment with Nevila later this week. She does such a great job of delivering what Devachan promises-a curl-by-curl cut-on any hair type. I’ve encouraged all my natural hair girlfriends to make at least one appointment with Deva to get accurate advice and a cut that works with their hair. Best salon ever!
Your cut is cute! I live in Wyoming and was fortunate enough to find a Devacurl certified stylist in Colorado. Drove 40 mins for the cut. Am really happy with the results. Learned so much from this stylist.

There isn't alot of white hair stylers that know or learn how to do black hair.
Devacurl stylist have to be trained in cutting all curly hair types and textures to be employed in a Devacurl salon.

Nice to see a stylist know what to do with curls. Ive had some experiences lol. And sometimes the look on their face, you can see the dread! I had a great stylist, and then one day she had left and they refused to tell me where she'd gone! Never found anyone since who did a good enough job to stick with.
