Direct and to the point. Now anyone can make their own infinity mirror without having to sit through 30 minutes of 3D printing, cutting, wood carving, etc, just to see how this effect is done. This was a huge timesaver and proves just how easily these can be made. Thank you.
Thank you, I have been trying to understand how these mirrors are made and you demonstrate how it works so simply and efficiently. Now that I have grasped the concept I can create a decorative frame to house the parts. Time to unleash the 3D printer. Thanks again. Top job.
This is the best diy version I've seen, unlike the other ones with too much wood cutting to make housing, screwing and measuring. This one is just as effective with half the effort 👌
@@MrBonners I never said it's a rule, it's just that the most UA-cam videos that I've seen they use wood to make the housing for the LED, but this one doesn't that's why I like it
If u r using wooden housing, it will be neat and clean. Now it looks so unfinished. And I don't know these guys managed to fix a glass with glue sticks
@@shaheebuk I thought the opposite that it looks cleaner, smoother and has that modern futuristic frameless look, I guess design is subjective. Yeah, hopefully the glue sticks will hold but the mirror will be placed flat on the table and not move so it should be okay 🤗
Man, when I saw this for the first time I was enchanted and now seeing HOW to do it in such an EASY way I'm very happy! Thank you Flávio, Brazil! Gained + 1 subscriber. 🤩👏🤝🎯
So the front piece of glass is jusy plain glass right? Its not like a double sided mirror or anything like that is it? Its literally just a mirror on the back and a piece of glass on the front?
I haven't watched it yet, but it's definitely not a 2-minute project because you need both dark and reflective surfaces, cut the segment (or segments) both for the pieces of glass/acrylic/polished metal etc as well as the lights, solder and heat shrink, do any additional layers/patterns and then put it all together and hide the edges unless its omnidirectional (in which case it would be a lot longer). You can increase the depth until it's so small that you can't make out the layers, add more directions and patterns separately so that it doesn't mash together, but match up and continue where part stopped and then continues on the other side. I made the front of my PC like that and put mirrors lining the inside facing inwards and out. Looks like an actual portal to other portals leading to all of the internal components separately, rather than it all being mounted on a mobo. People can make something that anybody that knows how to plug something into an outlet and use a pair of scissors has done, or... do something complex that anyone doing it after you keeps on improving it and making it better until it's something not yet thought of!
Time for me to make one of these and stick it to the front of my brand new Thermaltake CTE-C75- PC case. If I can't get the right tinted glass I can always apply a tinting film to it
I found a store nearby where I can buy working retro TVs for really cheap.. I might start a collection and I really wanna turn one into a mirror like this

never been any rule that there had to be wood involved.

Yes. But it would be nice to know where the person got the equipment from, and the names of them.
