Andrés Reyes I’m not really sure. I think that they would because ultimately it was this that led to the end of World War II. But at the same time, they all lost so much. If not physically, then mentally.
I remember WW2 fondly though. Don’t get me wrong, story or historical accuracy isn’t the forte of this game (Like, I heard that when the Americans reached Paris, the city was pretty much liberated). But gameplay wise is one of my favorites. It makes you feel like you’re in a squad, and it has some stealth missions and that mission where you play as the French resistance woman surprised me. I kinda wished IW had a similar mechanic implemented in MW2019 to make it more realistic-ish.
I wish it was like that and when you died you automatically switched to another soldier. I know it'd fuck up the story line but for how many more years can we continue to see soldiers absorbing bullets like there nothing?
I just noticed that and it started the game so well. Mummy played it on the 75th anniversary of VE Day and I was very grateful. Appropriate for the 76th anniversary of D-day today. But also very dark times in the Ace Combat franchise. 25 years ago the Belkans set off seven nuclear explosions on their own soil. 1 year ago during the Lighthouse war former Osean President Vincent Harling was assassinated.
Have any of you guys noticed on the PS4 version of cod ww2 the screen has lots of dots and on some of the missions where it’s cloudy like the hill mission there are a bunch of lines on the screen.
Cruise missiles would hit the bunkers, Apache's would snipe panzers and provide CAS, LVTs with 40mm would rain hell, Landing crafts that carries at least 2 abrams will be rolling on the beaches, and Chinooks or Ospreys would be going behind lines to reinforce paratroopers.
My Great Uncle landed with US forces on Normandy that morning. He grabbed onto one of those Czech hedgehog barriers and lost a finger due to it being shot off. He spent the rest of the war as his Company Commanders Jeep driver.

You would think at least one actor would go watch some old movies and learn how people sounded back then - inflection, accent, rhythm, tone, etc.; but even big-time movies (e.g., Saving Private Ryan) fail to get this right. Also, the writers might do likewise. Nobody said, "Good luck with that," in 1944; you might as well have the characters talk about twerking, or say "like" every other word.

Seriously, it was a literal meat grinding session. What in the bloody hell were they thinking sending non-bulletproof soldiers into that?
It's sad this is the only mission in the game that had memorable moments . After all those hypes we had for WW2, they couldn't deliver.
Multiplayer and zombies are great

@@dark_sider0 not really pretty inaccurate. Black womans wtf.
Joshua Willis no it didn’t it could have had much more potential, but the story was really cheesy and clichéd
