One thing you might have overlooked is the crafters levels can be put into perception for faster crafting speed as well. Your Triad shows it has 33 points available that's like 16% faster crafting if put into perception

I recommend the -30% stamina reduction perk. I got stamina for days. He isnt even 120 and he wrecks everything. Some of the later bosses have longer animations and combos. Youll need a lot of stamina to be able to capitalize on openings after didging for 5 hit combos. Also, when you have a tribesman doing an expensive job, like making bad ass armor or smelting 500 iron ingots. It is better to do it yourself because if you look on the tooltip, you get mask/awareness and character/proficiency experience from that job. But if you are not "controlling" that tribesman, you get no mask and awareness experience. So whenever i smelt I AFK as my kion guy, so i get more tech points and level up my mask. When i have a new warrior i want to level ip, i send him to mine iron and smelt it, even though i have a kiln huy, inwant the warrior to level up faster. Having a level capped character makes you much stronger. I solo everything with my starting character until after the Ape, then i grinded out a red diamond master warrior and he had "... Force" - 30% stam reduction. And he was 10 levels higher than my main character and was 100% faster movement speed because i get 5 stacks of 30% movement speed when i dodge, and another 5 stacks when i use a melee weapon. Grinding out a good tribesman is well worth it, but automation isnt always good to do if you want experience

i got VERY lucky and my one tribesman has the -30% usage, +50% stam regen and clever escape to regen 25 stam after hitstun but he has no 120 proficiency :/ but has 5 over 100 so if i beat the 3rd boss and up everyones caps in the mask tree he'll be perfect.

speed generally only matters for end game in crafting... geting your crafters to 30/60/90/120 and perk'n the proficiency to craft corresponding craft bone, bronze, iron and steel to get reds and yellows consistently. then adding mods, all mods stack just visually change the picture. You're going to be "taming" from camp to camp as you work your way to the highest starting lvl camps. esp on your fighters. Your green perks are randomly added over time, you get 3.

ended up getting a better one (sorta) he only has the lvl 2 version at 25% to heal for 20% of the damage, but has the fist weapon skill "rapid monkey strike" that skill is absolutely INSANE. you run at the mob on all fours like a monkey and do a bunch of quick attacks.
the attacks do OK damage BUT each of those little hits gives a stack that increases crit chance by 1% and gives 1 stam back per hit(hitting r once hits like 1/2 a dozen times). when i was testing it i had it to 70 stacks, checked my characters stats and yup 70% chance to crit lol
and it doesn't just run in a straight line, you chase the mob and close in to attack, i've seen them dodge to the side and my guy turns in to their new location, perfect for fist weapons.

Flint has defensive exclusive perks , claw has offensive exclusive perks , i didnt see anything that could make flint crafting focused or claw combat , those depend on class . As for the speed perk , well depends what are you looking for . Making 200 stuff into 100 stuff in 1 hour / crafting speed / or making 200 stuff into 130-150 in 1.5 hour /output focus /. And proficiency lvl dosent only for the bonus at 30-60-90-120 , but also each lvl improves stuff like speed/output/input requirement/durab etc for each lvl by a smaller % . So at least for me that 30% extra speed is just a nice extra if i have it but nothing that i take over a 120+ tribesman , eventually they will finish everything while i am away , and if it is really urgent i double/triple up the crating benches .

So select one iron ingots to craft and half the time it'll make 2 instead of one. Or two iron wire or two premium leather, whatever. Just click proficiency and then the actual proficiency again and select more production output. For weapon and armor you want to select durability until you hit iron quality, which is the 3rd tier at lvl 90. And quality steel at lvl 120. It's much harder to make steel tier legendary FYI. Speed is around 65% with all perks I think, because there is a special perks that increase the speed in one unique work by 30%, so with the perk it's 95% speed. You can have 5 green perks, novice skilled or master guaranted the tier of the perks, T3 is guaranteeed for master. If you get tribeman above lvl 20 you want him to have two green perks native, otherwise you won't have 5 perks at 50 (but he should have). To get rid of the red perks you want to make him do work for wich you have efficency in your tree mask, so you get rid of the red negative perks but not getting to much xp. Because if you take too much xp you will not get rid of all the negative. You should no be upset, everything in the game is made to replace your tribemen easy. Later in iron age you can craft 200% xp food, and you can have 235% in some efficiency 75+60+ mask tree perk). But most important is armorsmith and weaponsmith. If you want the best hunter farm the claw barracks north. You want a master hunter with either night walker or weaponmaster with the innate tribe perks on %crit not %crit damage.

    • @user-ui8be2hk6l

But yeah the game is huge in term of farming and understanding the perk sysytem. BUt you can have wicked combo, like I've found a guy that can do 50% more damage on weakpoints but have his weakpoints exposed taking 50% more damage. BUT, this guy also have life leech AND weakpoint protection of 60%. He's a monster of DPS.

Im not getting the point of not going for a high skill cap... u want a 120 because the higher the level the better stats u get. The speed buff is not better then a high capped tribesman. Ur looking only at speed buff and throwing away all the otger benefits from having a high skill. Plus craftsman the only way to get better quality steel gear is by having a 120. Take armor making for example, a 120 armorer at max level will have lets say 15% chance to pop a legendary steel gear where as a lvl 100 may only have a 6% chance.
