My last few times claying a car I've used a synthetic clay mitt. It's even bigger than the Griot's product here (it covers my whole hand, and is slightly smaller than a wash mitt). Still use it with a lot of clay lube/detail spray, but the beauty is I don't have to worry about dropping it at all since it's covering my hand like a mitten. Go around the car with the clay mitt on one hand and my bottle of clay lube or detail spray in the other, and I've had great success with this method.
@@gonin60detailing82 Used it this morning and its great. Paint is super smooth (even factory paint felt rough in some spots) I just washed it with Chemical Guys V07 wash after. I have some Turtle Wax Ceramic + Graphene Paste Wax. It will friggin glow after that. Might do that tomorrow.
Not sure if you did it or not before hand. All the synthetic clays need to be broken in on glass first. Just use on glass for about 30sec to remove the coating that is on the clay from the factory. I will never use regular clay again. I prefer the perforated clay towels or mitts. They are safer as it lets the debris flow between while you work. TheRagcompany, Optimum, DIY detail, adams and I am sure more are starting to carry them.
You would want more of an iron remover spray for that. You could try to see if this removes them but any iron remover spray will remove those orange specs.
@@gonin60detailing82This is why people should pay attention to who they let detail their vehicles. Pro name, Lots of products and as soon as he gets your car he’s cutting corners and half assing it. If he’s not going to use this quality product the least he could do is use a quality clay bar!! I own a Mercedes Benz S550 and if I found out he was crapping plumbing putty across my car I’d snap although I know it’s capable of working I pay more for better service. End of story

Yeah I won’t go back to traditional clay!
Thank's for the review! I like to keep different kinds. The towel gets into places much easier.
You bet and I totally get and understand that
Trying to learn from the best! Thank's @@gonin60detailing82
And I can use that clay brush bar for the iron discolored specs around my car?
