Yeah I was just thinkin, the stacks of ties at one time was some heavy heavy lifting… im sore already just watching… plus all that creosote all over clothes, gloves, skin….
I watched you dig out the excavator from that pond snd I was so impressed with how you handled your big machine. You can tell you’ve been doing in a long time. I’m a grandmother now and when I grow up, I wanna learn how to do that. Pretty cool.
Watching you load those ties made my back ache! When I was young (83 now) I built several the walls by hand; loaded, unloaded and stacked by hand. Only used a pick axe and shovel to move and adjust them..
My Norwegian grandfather used to say two things all the time, “No such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing” and “Anything will burn if you get it hot enough” Chris gets things hot!
Nice burn for what you had to work with. Nice job of loading ties, always fun to see someone operate a machine that makes it almost like you were just reaching out with your hand to move ties around, then neatly stack them to boot, sweet. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Chris… Fella you already know my deep, sincere respects for you, for your skills and abilities with machines, soil and trees. Will you please do me a huge favour and let Robert know just how much I respect him as well for the hardworking man he proves himself to be and for all his skills with machine and earthmoving. He really is an awesome guy, a hugely valuable member of your team.
Well, another masterclass in how to operate machines. Nice fires and well done with the railroad ties. Thanks for sharing. I honestly thought this was a 15min video, Chris. It went by so quickly.
Robert sure is a great help bro, you are lucky to have good friends like him and the others who also help out at times. We call those RR ties sleepers in NZ. Anyway enjoyed this video guys. Safe travels. Ken.
I remember when you got that little "strawberry shortcake" I thought what can you do with it. It has surprised me with all the jobs it's done for you. Good buy.
❤ all the projects. Short story, an old timer told me " in military prison , they stacked rail ties 10" high. Then move em to the other end of a football field" crazy?!
I remember that pile was lots of little pines, scrub brush, bamboo, dirt & weeds mixed, and Lots of Briars. The crosstie drilling and loading was about where you and Zack worked on your old trailer years ago.
Love the way the whole job is working out. Those ties and fabric are going to make a great track. I'm glad you are finally able to burn again, Chris. Great job videoing your progress again.
Mini and skid steer professionals at work. Nice fire. Blessings for the rain everyone needs it. We finally had a good rain in Texas kept temps under 85. Yippee we are having a July cool spell. Have a great week.
This property looks like the one you cut drainage ditches in years ago. I think it was before the Bealy Good videos of the small pond build. 30 years ago my neighbor and I built a new wooden fence using used RR ties as posts and cementing them in the ground. That fence is still standing strong today allthough we did have to replace some boards after 25 years or so.
Yep, looked like the fires went pretty good !! I knew that old stuff would burn like hell !! lolol... When you looked around the side to look over at the first fire ya set, it was rollin' !! lolol... Those cross ties was trying to give ya a fit, wasn't they Chris !! lolol... Had to get umm up off the ground a little more. Hell Man, those pads looked really good !! wasn't but, a couple small puddles in there, you was right on it man !! Great as Always Chris !! Have a Great Evening Man, And as Always, On too the Next !!
Still waiting here in SE Ga to burn a little pile of my own! The state of Ga has a state wide burn ban till sometime in August, it's been really dry here, just now getting some descent rain, the heat and humidity has been awful! I know you're busy Chris but would like to see how your neighbors pond turned out after the dredging with the long boom excavator! Thanks for all you do!
When I have piles that are like from a logging ramp... very dense lot's of small stuff with pine needles and leaves... Anyway you know what I'm talking about.. I'll dig into the middle of it and make like a volcano with the path I dug into the middle going with the wind direction.. and light the pile in the center and the outside. You might be surprised and the time saved burning those types of piles.
I’m kind of surprised you don’t have a telehandler, Chris, for shuffling things around and loading/unloading materials and attachments. My guess is that you are just so comfortable with excavators that it makes more sense this way, but I wonder whether you might get some good use out of a telehandler as well.
That place is looking so awesome. Chris im impressed how much weight that skid steer picked up. How much weight do you think all those railroad ties weight is you picked up with it? Have a great day buddy.
@@sharonmiller6436 yeah I believe a lot of it is root raking debris! I guess burn what you can and bury the rest! Chris has this, he’s the MAN!👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻🇺🇸💯💯
The utility contractor who constructed two new electrical supply lines through central Pa. Has placed thousands of mats in a 8/10 acre plot between Mechanicsburg and Carlisle. They have been there for three years. They’re stacked 12 to 15’ high covering much of the lot. I don’t get it.
Any one who has ever loaded RR ties by hand can appreciate what those machines are doing.
yep and they eat chain saw blades
Seriously yes
Yeah I was just thinkin, the stacks of ties at one time was some heavy heavy lifting… im sore already just watching… plus all that creosote all over clothes, gloves, skin….

Chris is playing Excavator Jenga😂

I feel for Robert moving around and drilling all those holes in railroad ties is hard work.
Good to see some good burn piles . That’s a lot of rail road ties for that arena .

Nohting like a good fire to get things cleaned up🙂interesting railroad tie work at the horse arena project..
Seeing those ties made me realize I miss the mats! A lot of clearing and dirt work lately.
Well, if it all falls apart tomorrow, I think Chris would definitely land a forklift job at Costco! #WINNING

Chris - Can we see how that pond is doing that has the huge 30' pond dam behind that building? The one with big central island.
Good looking out for me turtle 🐢!!!!
Great job 👍🏻 glad you saved the turtle 🐢
Remember burning a big pile of semi green bamboo. Snap, Crackle, Pop like fireworks... lots of fun.

Good looking fire there in that old wood!! Surprised you didn’t see a bunch of critters come flying out of there!! We know how you like snakes!!
You stacked those Ties With that bucket like you've worked on a Railroad Tie gang before 😎👍👍

Looking better and better. Fire sure helps!!!!❤
Wow, Chris makes it look so easy on that yanmar, and the tada at the end 😂
prety god dam good at loading that thing
This Friday (the 26th) you completed that five acre job with the pond a year ago. Could you go back and give us an update on it?

You should bring an egg with you on your next burn and throw it on your bucket after you get done pushing up a hot pile. I bet it cooks quick! 😆
Very good video Chris on the fire and Mouving the Railrod Ties ,too
I must be a closet-pyro ‘cause I really look forward to Chris’s burn pile vids. 😂😂😂😂
Thanks Chris,peace brother…
I wanna see the big bucket on the 350 🤔
Me too
@@BealyGood you would have a better chance at convincing him then me 👀
You should make a video of hauling something and talk about the truck and trailer
Wow is that thumb fast Holy crap!
We need to get chris a giant Jenga set made from railroad ties, would be awesome to see chris and Mike challenge each other.
Can you show part 2 of burning the piles😊
I think you burnt some and the piles left was your root raking of the new formed areas
Such a caring arsonist. Trying to keep the smoke headed the right direction! 😂
Good Video Thax 😃👍😃
All waiting for your video nearly all was nearer 10 ISH 22 hundred hrs evening Chris UK time the fire burning well barbeque snakes
Good job mate love your work
We love a good fire or two!!!!
Have you crunched the numbers comparing burning to burying the mess?
What about the video of you and Justin setting the bridge
Does Justin have a yt channel? I don't remember seeing them set the bridge either.
@@splatterize I think Chris mentioned they didn't want it videoed.
@@oleran4569 Thank you.
@oleran4569 I seem to remember that too 🤔 such a shame, that wd've been a cracking video 😒
In the end the customer has the final say on recording a project. Their checkbook, their call. That's also why there isn't many returns to past jobs.
Unbelievable, picking up a 5 gallon container with a big ole excavator. Seen it all now
A 5 gallon plastic bucket is nothing compared to an egg.
good burn video
I go from a video about dealing with the wild fires in British Columbia to a video about you burning brush piles.
Nothing to worry about you just have the firebug gene in you 😅😅
One must have balance in one's life.
Chris this is Favorite 🔥🔥🔥 thing to do ! 😊😊😊
Nice video Chris.
Nice!!!!
The yanmar handy excavator
First pile looks like the rain didn’t do a good job of washing the dirt out, Chris!
I'm pretty sure there was a lot of root-raking debris in that pile.

Rolls of black gold coming off that trailer. Fabric has gotten insanely expensive.
🐢 be FREE 👏
Yes that is cool Peace out
Turtle power 😂🐢
And it ain't dried out yet. Not with all of the rain we've had.
Good morning my friend 😊❤
🔥 🔥
Out of curiosity what did you use to drill them?
here if you put a RR tie in contact with the ground it's a freaking fine, banned their use about 10 years ago
I’ve got a question, what is the name of Robert’s YT channel ???
Another question, how many years has it been since a fire got away from you.
JENGA!!!
NIOCE FIRE DAY
A set of forks on that tractor, would it load rr ties quicker or do you know
More carbon in the air which in return feeds our trees makes oxygen. For us ! Perfect cycle !!!
👍👍👍
❤❤❤
Hire me lol this looks fun
I’m just gonna say it… Skid steer operator is not your calling 🤣 Stick to the big boy toys 👊🏻
Robert should be operating the TAK. Chris and DP....two peas in a pod.
Ever been visited by the local fire dept while burning those huge piles?? Sure a lot of smoke visible for 40 miles or more.
He has said he usually notifies the local authorities
Yes, he has and it's on a video from a couple of years ago.
@@oleran4569- wasn’t that the one where a “Karen” complained? Does that technically count? 🤨
@@Tractorgal Yes! That sounds familiar. He had a season, or 2 with a couple of Karens.

Several thousands of $$$$ being spent on the horse arena. Exvacation looks nice and with good drainage.
As Americans we get to spend our money as we please and put other Americans to work doing it! Why we are GREAT!
🔥🔥🔥🙌😁
Yeah, using the forks on a tractor to load railroad ties doesn't make any sense.I mean after all chris couldn't show off that if he did it that way😅
I know you are so happy that you can burn 🔥. We can only imagine how much you feel about it.
Thanks
THANKS!

MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼
Question Chris, is there a way that you can tell which machine makes the most money per year?
Don't really keep track but I'd probably say the 220

Would strapping together16 in a bundle make it easier to load and unload?
