after gtting spell binder, the game just gets more interesting, such an op thing in wukong, i defeated the golden buddha boss and all the bosses till queen spier coz of spell binder, nyc build
Yeah it's quite fun! Just another build option but I reckon lots of people have overlooked it (I did) and gosh it's fun hitting big damage. Some of my crits are hitting for 6-7k and I'm in chapter 5 still
Such an OP build. Ive been running it for about 1/2 of chapter 5 now. Definitely took some time to get used to not relying on spells, but im really enjoying it now
nice breakdown mate, i used this a fair bit with the venomous armguards, which still shares a set bonus with this set. great info on mitigating the health drain!
@@WilstormGaming The ones he is talking about are the special ones you get in chapter 4 if you break off at least 4 of the 8 arms off the boss in the cacoon right outside the shrine. They share the set but also have a unique effect that applies poison bane on critical strikes to enemy.
Also with spellbind, you can equip all mana and stamina gear and potions to get as much mana and stamina as you can then pop spellbind. Afterwards you can equip all damage gear to even further your attack, crit chance and crit damage. Fully buffed in NG+ with spellbind I have over 400 attack, 51% crit and 201% crit damage
Similar to my build. I change my set to maximise my mana. Then spell bind to raise attack. I then change my build to the centipede build but I use venomous armguard instead of centipede bracers which still gives you a full set bonus with the added effect of inflicting poison. I use a few different curios and equip non able and weavers needle. My crit rate is above 50 percent which is insane. Most of the time i am hitting 7k with 3 stacks of focus in smash stance or about 3k to 4k without crit. Ridiculous set if you understand the game mechanics.
I think if you put a mana boosting spirit first and one or even two curio seals for mana, rest and engage spellbinder you can switch them all out but retain the power. So I use gore eye daoist spirit then switch him for None-Able. I luckily have two mana curio seals which i switch for whatever crit/damage after activating spell binder. I would like to do the math on the centipede staff vs the loong staff because of the 10% crit over the attack debuf of 18 points.
Yeah nice, I've done this before when using non-able (because of the mana reduction) but when I made this I didn't have a mana increasing spirit... must have missed it or overlooked it. Great tip
was looking for a way to "finish" my centipedebinder build that Verdant Glow spirit is godlike tbh *and the build itself too* *i use pillar stance, with potion + loong amp pellet can crit up to 9-10k lol*
Brilliant mate, appreciate your video. Followed your steps and just made the build and about to test it out in chapter 5… Quick question, would your recommend using the spider celestial staff with this build or the Golden Loong staff?? 🤔
Golden Loong, the crit is not worth the raw damage I don't think. I haven't run the exact match but because crits are at most around 1.6x rather than 2x by default like in many games
WOW yea just used it this shit is legit especially with Dark Iron staff and if you have the thunderclap curious that gets you extra mana w spellbinding ‼️‼️
Running maxed out pilgrim armor and the shooting fuban staff will also do this damage. Take enhanced tiger pills and the loong pill. You'll be able to one shot bosses or at least get them down to 20%
is it worth using the staff over the spider staff? With spellbinder, non-able and the needle and spider staff I had like 50% crit chance or something around there.
If you upgrade your celestial medicine for poison resistance you will save yourself both an accessory and a soak slot. Otherwise, thanks for the build!
Man this build is just too overpowered damnnn But have a Question which one is better Pilgrim set or Centipede set ? What do you think of it ? Like Can I use The Pilgrim one to replace this Centipede? BTW nice video
Different strength, Pilgrim is good for running and exploring, might be good on some bosses depending your play style but it's a fairly generic item set. In terms of raw power there is definitely more potential with centipede armour but Pilgrim is just easy to use and less bother
@@WilstormGaming Yeah man you're amazing The thing I liked about you is that You made this Build in completely Base game No NG+ And others made them on NG+ And Still does more than 4600+ damage with Full Potential hit I subbed
Im trying to find an armor set That makes since to run with tri point spear, but none seem to really fit or make sense to wear with it, i dont much like the pilgrim set.
@joseperezdeniz4961 I was hoping not to have to use that armor bc I used it since I crafted it in my first playthrough but seems to be the only one that makes since, aside from the pilgrim set, oh well I'll use the golden armor for that build thanks.
On ng++ poison is ticking 11 HP per dot. Poison resist is 99 anything over that the flask won't poison me. Must be missing something or the dot increase on each cycle
You have to be careful not to have too much resistance to poison, because after a certain point you can no longer poison yourself. The resistance to four curses must be kept small. 👍🏻
the last 2 Days the Build is buggy, i keep losing the same HP from poison my residence doesnt matter i have MAXIUM and still losing 8 HP/ I got it now its buggy the curios that ignores the 4 banes on enemies ignors your residence aswell..
Can't get the death stringer because I didn't know scorpion asshole joins the fight with duskveil and dies. How are u supposed to know that? They need to fix that3
Unlock a 3rd slot from beating the blacksmith and then farm for the goat skull soak it will in increase your health when healing and you won't need the poison resistance charm
Yes likely your mana pool before using Spellbinder. Xu dog mana upgrades, the mana passive in the Survival spark tree as well. And then once you get them in chapter 5 use the Thunderflame seal curios to boost mana before using Spellbinder and swapping back
Doing the same in NG+ with spellbinder managed to get my attack to 254 and with the buff from the armor it gets to 304 Plus with venom arm guards crit attacks also build up and apply poison debuff. Extremely fun and kinda cheesy😅 P.S: make sure you do everything in the first play through to get all characters in your journal. With this you could get a gourd that recharges every 15 seconds.
This build PALES in comparison to the Iron Bull staff build. You can hit like 260 attack before wine and spellbinder. The damage that staff can pump out is ridiculous
Different amor, different benefits. Centipede overall does more DPS. Crit boost, poison application, increased attack after enemy defeat. Iron bull and dark iron staff has over all more raw dmg, but lacks overall dmg. I've tested pretty much all armor sets in ng+5, with all possible set ups, and yaksha, centipede and pilgrim have the highest DPS and one shot potential.
I can tell you the dmg increase is insane. I can knock down the mob about 60% faster. You just have to be good at 2-3 hits - dodge - finish combo - repeat
@@danneytee sure but the other 70% of the game is bosses and none of these builds are valid for that. they're to squashy compared to the builds i've been running that give you better dodge and dodge attack damage, damage reduction from dodge and increase focus build up from dodge
I’ve been using spell binder since I unlocked it and I love it , now with 200+ damage it’s INSANE
If you buff your mana with curios etc and use spellbinder you get more attack, then you can swap curios for something better like more atk
This sounds like a lot of fun and something I was wondering about thank you so much have a great night
