In Canada we do group imports to cut costs and they start around 300. for a young five inch A. Formosa up to 700. Cdn. dollars. That's with the certificate, micro chip, and colour or type choice.
I got a 2year old hbrtg, which we really love. But when i saw that red on that display tank, i was like "whoooaaaahh!!!" mean the finnage and color makes me wanna get one 😂 hahaha. Just majestic

I’ll definitely check out this shop but since u in this hobby for a while which do u think is the best shop to look out that hold many different species ? “ small Buddies”. I’ve been to Green chapter and FreshNMarine but they quite limited. Thanks 👍🏻
That first fish you asked about is a Giant Danio I believe! I love seeing the fish stores everywhere in the world and some (who am I kidding) ALL the stores you go to are so amazing compared to the ones I have near me!

Some store owners don’t want to show the price of their fish but a BCA didn’t mind me showing so there you go. You can see the prices of some arowanas written in the glass. Or you could check out their website :)
I know they don't come cheap at all, but if I were the owner it would be difficult for me to part with the large mature ones. Obviously a lot of care went into raising them, unless they get them at this size already?

Red aro is more depending on the grooming(tanning and diet) while Cross Back aro colour develop more quickly and don't require tanning
