    I got an F9 for my art in school. Like this video if you think my drawing is worth more than that.

    This video is arguably one of the best arowana videos out here.So much of amazing information!So educational.Really enjoyed and loved it!I'd definitely go here to get an Arowana from Marcus!Thanks to Bearded Aquarist for making this special video.Marcus mentioned about a mentor who specialises in Golden Arowanas.I'm super keen to actually learn more about tanning them and all the different types of golden Arowana species out there..Crossback golden..24k Gold..Gold head..High back..Super high-backed.. Different grades of Gold.. Hopefully he makes a future video on specifically on the Gold ones and if someone like Marcus could walk us through every tier haha!

    Im happy that the 2 comments i left in the last video are shown here! Haha asian arowana and subtitles. I love the fish and the subs make it easier for me to understand since it is a little noisy in the facility! Great job

    hi bro, the hi-back or crossback is more typically used for Gold Arowana. Gold Arowana are typically from Malaysia. The Red and Golds are classified differently.. not sure if this information come across in the video.. helmets.. full helmets only apply to Gold Arowana (crossbacks)
    there are some arguments that gold and red arowana may be classified as different species - as they have varied features and come from different locales.
    just my 2cents. loved what you doing! keep it up!

      Yes the red and gold asian are classified as 2 different variants and yes full helmat gold patch or lines are used only in the xb genre, we trt not to squeeze too much info in 1 single video as it might be overloaded to hobbyist

    The best arowana documentary I ever watched. Kudos to Ashley and of course, the expert for generously sharing the industry secretly guarded knowledge. A step up for all hobbyist.
    You just made this hobby not just fun, but a great way to understand the science in how fishes adapt to human created environment. 5 STARS for content, depth and bringing a new angle to understanding how aqua reacts to domestication.

    • @SGBeardedAquarist
      @SGBeardedAquarist  4 роки тому +1

      If I was given a choice right now, I would go with the male jack dempsey. Amazing iridescent colours, can be very personable and a natural predator.
      If you're open to hybrids then you can consider blood parrots or a flowerhorn as an alternative.

    Hi is there any recommended lights for a purple crossback gold arowana in black tank? Not looking to tan just a better lighting to properly view the arowna's shine. As I realize that its gold shines much better when it swims close to under the light.

    You know, alot or expert talks about using good lighting to display color of your fish, and it feels "cheating" to use a "blue-light" to make fish with blue-color "blue-er", and that does feel like cheating.
    -But I didn't know that a particular light-spectrum, could actually Physically impact the way a fish would grow. That is Amazingly Crazy !!
